	spoiler space Mara caring more for Jacen than anyone else? That is laughable nonsense. LEIA cared more for Jacen than anyone else. I hate seeing history rewritten to benefit that Mara creature. Mara didn't spare a single thought to Jacen when he was captured. Nor did Luke. Leia was worried sick about him. She was convinced he was still alive when everyone else believed he was dead. So how come Mara gets more time with him than Leia does, and how come she lies through her teeth about how much she missed him when she didn't even think about him, let alone miss him? 	Spoilers I'm disappointed about Jacen's reunion too. I have yet to read the book so I will definitely abstain from passing judgement, but this doesn't sound good at all. It would make so much more sense for Jacen to spend some real time with parents, however meaningless it may seem. Even when Jacen is alone in TR, he returns to their old apartment and reflects on times when his parents, his siblings and Chewie all shared in some of life's most mundane moments. But sharing it together. Jacen has always shown the most empathy and love for his parents and his siblings first and foremost. It doesn't make sense for Luke and Mara enjoying a longer reunion with Jacen now. Neither of them had as much faith and love as Leia did for Jacen when everyone believed Jacen dead. 	Maybe it warrented at least a few additional pages (5 or 6), but not like two chapters. i understand why he would first talk to Luke and Mara about the ordeal - Luke was his Jedi Master. 	Spoilers It's not about 20 chapters. It's about consistency. Leia showed the most concern, faith and love for Jacen. Evidence points to Jacen reciprocating this empathy for his parents and siblings first and foremost (always looking out for Jaina, returning to their old apartment and reflecting on the times when his parents, Anakin, Jaina and Chewie all shared in some mundane but precious moments). How does it make sense then for Luke and Mara not only meeting with Jacen longer, but first? 	Okay, he did talk to both of them, but it was mostly Luke. Leia and Han deserved a longer reunion with him, we all agree on that. However, Leia didn't abandon her duty of the mission to the Imperial Remnant. They were too far away to make a trip back. But I know that they were anxious to return, especially Leia. And the thing I was referring to is the "gushing over Mara" part. I do not think that even exists. Mr. Williams, perhaps you can answer the questions that people have brought up. I enjoyed the book. "Yes. i tried to contact them through the force. But - yes, they should have official word, as well." on the page before this, page 128, Mara touches Jacen's chest as if to touch the heart of him. "You've been injured." "Yes." the word was simple, accepting. Whatever had happened to him, Jacen seemed at peace with it. "Do you need a healer?" "No,I'm fine. Vergere healed me." ~~~~~~ There was nothing about Jacen gushing over his Aunt. THe book is right in my lap and I copied it exactly from the book. I hope Mr. Williams will be able to take the time out of his busy schedule to answer your questions. 	spoiler space... It is a slap in the face to Leia fans, while Leia has been the one to keep faith and hope for Jacen all these months. No one believed he was alive but her. This was an ongoing theme for several books now and it deserved to be wrapped up in a satisfactory way. Not in a few paragraphs. Han, Leia, and Jacen fans have been looking forward to their reunion for months. I read many, many posts on people hoping the reunion scene would be satisfactory. I never read one post by a L/M fan that said they couldn't wait to see the reunion. IMO, Luke and Mara don't DESERVE to see Jacen first or get a longer reunion with him than with his parents. They almost never thought about him, just like how there was very little anguish on their parts when his brother died. Leia and Han, on the other hand, have been stricken with guilt, grief, and worried half to death for months. It's an insult to them and their fans to gloss over their reunion but focus extensively on the reunion between Jacen and two people who never thought about him while he was gone.

	spoilers OK gang let's not start barbecuing Walterjon just yet. Here's why: We know NJO authors are given their piece of the story and that's what they have to write. We also know there is a degree of leeway and negotiation involved. If it transpires that Walterjon had to: Return Vergere and Jacen to the NR as quick as he could while ALSO sending H & L on their mission to Bastion, which prevented them being around on Mon Calamari when Jacen returned, thus Luke and Mara get to see him first, then he's in the clear. If was authorial licence to send H & L out of the way and have Jacen return so quickly, say he & Vergere had to move slowly to avoid detection by the YV so they get to Mon Calamari AFTER H & L get back from Bastion instead, then I guess you can start building the charcoals up! end spoilers JB -----signature----- Excellence: "You are the forum's Quick Ben."
