	This is my first fanfiction..so please R&R. at the beginning, I'm introducing some new characters but the original ones will be back after a little while. disclaimer: I don't own SW or any SW characters except the ones i made up. Please dont sue. here it is: Chapter 1 Liz went outside to carry out some task her father gave her. The wind flung her hair around her face as she stared at the setting suns. She often got distracted from her work. What she really wanted to do was to go to become a Jedi or a starfighter pilot. She had heard stories of famous Jedi deflecting blaster bolts with lightsabers and moving things around with the Force. Sometimes, she would walk up to certain lizards or other animals and pretend to talk to it through the Force. Her best friend, Mary, who lived at the nearest moister farm, would play with her, and they even had ‘lightsaber duels’ with poles. “Elizabeth Stardreamer! Where are you with my hydrospanner?” called a masculine voice from the house. She startled out of her reverie and ran to the speeder. With the hydrospanner in hand, she hurried back to the hut. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As usual, Liz rose with the first sun. After slipping on a sand-colored tunic, she sat on her bed and carefully brushed her long golden hair. Soon, she had completed the one hundredth stroke and she swiftly pulled it into a braided ponytail. She folded back the covers on her cot and went into the kitchen where she promptly started to fix breakfast. A quarter of an hour later, she placed two cups, a carton of blue milk, home made biscuits, and a couple apples on the table. Then, she went into her father’s room and woke him. “Breakfast is ready.” As the two sat down for breakfast, Liz asked, “What are you planning on doing today, Dad?” “Well, I think I’ll run to Anchorhead and get my speeder fixed. You know one of the repulsors is broken.” “Yes, I noticed it. 	Interesting. I think I'm begining to like this Liz character. Can't wait for more.

	This seems interesting. As to the side scroll, I think, mind you I only think you need to edit you post. As to the logistics PM one of the mods. 	ok. here's the second part of chapter 1. and i think I have the scroll problem fixed...do i? neways here it is: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Liz saw that her dad had safely left for town in his speeder and quickly went into the house. Her few chores finished, she took off running. The trip was a forty-five minute run, but Liz had run it so many times that she was not even out of breath when she sprinted easily to Mary’s door. She knocked on the door and waited for a couple moments before the door opened. “Liz!” Mary said, excited. “You have to see this!” Before Liz could reply, she grabbed her hand and pulled her down the steps into the underground house. The small hut was dark, but it served to be a cool enough haven in the middle of the ine desert. Dirt walls kept the heat out for the most part and it was fun, to Mary and Liz, to constantly navigate the complex tunnels, or halls, between rooms. Mary led Liz into a room slightly below the others. “This is my workshop. I just finished modifying this droid!” She flipped a couple switches and the small, modified R2 unit became alert with a series of beeps and scans. “All programs operational and performance superior,” came the voice of the droid. “I am R2B4, Astronomic Droid. How may I be of service?” His voice resembled a deep male voice, complete with expression. Mary grimaced. “I named him Sparks, but I haven’t been successful at getting him to call himself that yet. He can do scans and has a security system. He has inbuilt tools and is programmed to help me work on my ship…Well, when I get one. But get this: He is complete withal the original Astro programs along with interpretation! And I modified his voice myself.” She smiled proudly. “Wow!” Liz said, circling the droid and studying it thoroughly. “This is astro!” “He’s not finished yet,” she said as she shut him down. “He will be soon though. Now, lets get exploring!” she exclaimed, eyes sparkling. Liz grinned and they headed out of the door. ~~~~~~~~~*~ “This way. I want to show you something.” Liz whispered as she crouched low and snuck around a sand dune. When she got to the edge of a cliff, she turned back to make sure Mary was still following her. Satisfied, she began to carefully and quietly began to climb it. After peeking over the top, she looked down and motioned for Mary to stay quiet and low to the ground when she got up there. She pulled herself gracefully over the top and crawled to the other side. Soon, Mary crept up beside her. “See those?” When she saw Mary nodded, she continued, “Those are the legendary Horde Lizards. Ever heard of them?” Mary thought for a moment and then her eyes lit up, “Oh yeah! Those are the lizards that move in herds and only five people have seen them and lived to tell about it. No one has gotten close enough to touch them.” At least three-dozen Horde Lizards sat together in the canyon below the s. They were long and thin with six legs. Their noses were turned up like they were squashed against their faces. Almost as if they ran into a rock wall and it smashed it to their faces. They had narrow slits for eyes and the glowing yellow dots could be disconcerting in the dark. As the s watched them, they saw tails curling up and down in random intervals. Instead of the usual green, these lizards were a dull yellow, like the sand. When walking through the desert, a herd could not be seen as long as they were still, except by scanners. “How did you know they were here?” Mary wondered aloud as she admired the powerful creatures. “I…I’m not sure.” Liz replied shrugging. “I just did.” Just then, they heard savage growling and looked down. One Lizard had decided to steal another’s meet ration and there was a fight. They slammed tails into each other and they reared up on the back two legs so that the other four were free for fighting. The defending lizard literally pounced on the other and smacked his tail into the other’s head. The lighter one, which was the offending one, stumbled and just as he was gaining his footing, the other reared up and rammed his feet into him. He was thrown into a wall, and after a whimper, settled to the ground, dead, and the other happily began eating his food again. “Give me the m-bs. “ When she was handed the micro binoculars, she focused on the herd of lizards. For no real reason, she looked to the right several kilometers. After a moment’s study, she handed the binoculars to Mary. “Look over there.” She pointed to the place she had been looking. Mary gasped and Liz said grimly, “Doesn’t look good does it? Lets go in closer.” She backed up, careful to not make to much noise, and backed down the rocks, jumping the last five feet or so. When Mary was crouched beside her, she rounded the cliffs, hiding behind boulders as they went. She jumped down a small drop off, and crouched behind a huge rock, protruding from the side of the canyon. She and Mary listened carefully and heard bits of a conversation. “...Come on... Darth Exterminator or something...” “No...wrong...doin...dark powers...not...get you hurt.” “You don’t know...talking...out. My powers...thrilling...powerful.” The man they could see spoke angrily. He was apparently talking in a comlink. The being on the other side was calm. They saw the man stuff the comlink in his pocket angrily and walk hastily to his speeder. He was dressed in a black fighting outfit with a long, dark cloak billowing behind him. He looked around uneasily, shrugged, and zoomed off. Liz let out a breath she didn’t know she had been holding. She turned to Mary who was pale. “We have to report this to the authorities.” She said as she began to gain color in her face. “Mary look! This could be our big chance. We can find out enough about this character to be allowed to talk to Luke Skywalker personally!” she exclaimed. “I dunno about this, Liz.” She replied doubtfully. “We should go ahead and tell the head of security.” “This is ine,” she stressed the name of the planet. “Our head of security stopping a Dark Jedi is like a bartender stopping a man from drinking his best brew. It won’t happen. Haven’t you always wanted to have an adventure? Always wanted to meet Luke Skywalker? Always wanted to do something recognizable? Now we have our chance.” Mary reluctantly agreed. “Ok, but we better hurry.” Liz grinned and scrambled gracefully up the canyon wall and into the desert. She easily broke into a sprint that Mary had a hard time keeping up to. Liz reached Mary’s house a couple minutes before Mary. When Mary had joined her, she said “Get Sparks. We’re going into town.” Mary nodded, panting and disappeared through the door. 	srry i couldnt get this up last night J&J. but when mom says i got to get off...i better go. here it is. hope u like. End of chapter 1: Liz, Mary and Sparks walked, or in Sparks’ case rolled, into Anchorhead. They saw all sorts of aliens riding banthas and other animals native to ine. Speeders were parked along the side of the dust road and people wandered the city, especially the cantinas. Mary’s dad had asked her to pick up some parts for the speeder and she wanted a couple parts that would need replacement soon in Sparks, since she had just scavenged parts. They walked to a mechanical shop and Liz walked in. She stopped suddenly at the door, gaping. Mary ran into her because the stop was so sudden. “What is it, Liz?” she asked curiously. When Liz did not answer, she shouldered her aside and took a step in, just to stop dead beside Liz. Both s stood gaping. “Hello.” A masculine voice said, as the s gazed up at him. “Would you be so kind as to allow me to pass?” he asked gently. For a moment neither could move or find her voice. Finally Liz got over her initial shock, “I’m terribly sorry, Master Skywalker. We didn’t mean to block your exit.” She pulled a still paralyzed Mary out of the way and Sparks rolled aside. After he had smiled and left, Liz turned to Mary, “Lets follow him. Maybe we can go ahead and let him know about that guy we saw.” ~~~~~~~ Luke let out a small sigh. Those s had been following him for at least half an hour. And they were good at it too. He never got a visual of who was following him; he never saw them when he turned around. But he could feel them. They seemed to have honest intentions but back in the day when he ‘Blew up the Death Star Single Handedly’ and ‘Killed Vader and the Emperor in one slice’ as the holonets had said, he had had s following him with honest intentions…but they were lucky Mara wasn’t around at the time. He smirked at the thought of Mara ‘talking’ to one of his stalkers. He suspected they really did have good intentions for several reasons. One was that they couldn’t be older than fifteen, much too young to be stalking him at this age. The other was the Force. First of all, he had felt a terrible disturbance in the Force; a darkness that was very strong. Meditation led him to the fact that he should make a trip to ine. He had decided to see a few friends in the mean time. He smiled as he thought about the visits he had just made. The Force guided his thoughts back to the s and he stretched out to feel them. They were still there and the crowd was thinning out as he neared his docking bay. He slowed his pace and let the s get closer to him. Then suddenly he turned around, and the s had nowhere to hide. The taller one with hair strode up to him confidently. “Hello. I am Liz Stardreamer, and this is Mary Starkiller. We have some very important issues to discuss with you.” She looked around and then said to him, “But I don’t think it is safe enough to discuss it here.” “Certainly. Would you accompany me back to Jade’s Shadow?” The dark haired ’s bright blue eyes got wide but the kept her composer after a moment’s shock. “Wonderful.” As the s walked with him the rest of the way to his ship, they excitedly asked him questions about his adventures. He was amused by some of the things they suggested, such as killing a nerf with a stick. Soon they reached the ship and the s stopped in mid-sentence as they stared in awe at the star ship. “Wow” Liz murmured. 	Cool. Nice postie!! Got a request though, please don't take this the wrong way. I'm having trouble getting through your posts. There isn't spacing between the paragraphs and it's really hurting my eyes. I was just wondering if you could place a space between every paragraph so it's easier on our eyes because it's on the computer so it hurts your eyes that way and then if there aren't space you sometimes get lost and have to back-track. Just trying to help you out!
