	I lay in bed in full dress uniform And the Chrono kept ticking I was a hero of the galactic alliance And the Chrono kept ticking I am in love, and I'm the saddest man alive because of that. And the Chrono kept ticking I had known her since we were kids And the Chrono kept ticking I loved her then, but knew not how to tell her til of late And the Chrono kept ticking I fianly told her how I felt And the Chrono kept ticking I fianly proposed And the Chrono kept ticking I was refused And the Chrono kept ticking I had my heart broken And the Chrono kept ticking I was told it was what was best for her people And the Chrono kept ticking I rushed back to my ship And the Chrono kept ticking I lay on the bed to meditate And the Chrono kept ticking I failed to meditate, for that required that I be at peace And the Chrono kept ticking I would never know peace again And the Chrono kept ticking I heard the news from the radio in my bedroom chrono And the Chrono kept ticking I wept cause she was to be wed to another And the Chrono kept ticking I hated that chrono, and the news that it gave And the Chrono kept ticking I never wished to hear that news again And the Chrono kept ticking I smiled And the Chrono kept ticking I knew how to get my wish And the Chrono kept ticking I set my lightsaber hilt on my chest, pointing upward And the Chrono kept ticking I hit a button And the Chrono kept ticking I fianly knew everlasting peace And the Chrono kept ticking This is my firs atempt at poetry, so when you post saying it sucks, tell me how 2 make it better pls. Also, I've fixed the errors I see, but as my beta (whos on vacation right now) will attest to my spelling and grammer is HORRIBLE. -----signature----- This is my old username. 	I'm mentioning this since it has to do with another of my fics, Prankside of the Force Ok, the excript thread is up for the fanfic awards here. My excript for prankside's in the middle so to find it just hit Ctrl+F to open a find window and type in 3MD. 	Thanks Firery Force, but I sorta suck at poetry so another is unlikley. I only wrote this cause one night I couldnt sleep and the clock's ticking was really annoying.
