	Disclaimer: I own nothing! It’s all George Lucas' world, I’m just hanging out for a while. Sue me and get nothing. I’m in charity work aka nearly broke. Author Note: Okay, so I should be working on the next chapter of the Sith Insurrection, but I’m not. Instead, I’ve produced this little piece of MWP or mush without plot if you prefer. For my dear readers of TSI, I think you’ll enjoy this quite a bit. A Fireside Duel Outside the Solo’s small, cliffside, cave dwelling, snow was busy blanketing the surface of Zonama Sekot. The unexpected storm had sent the planet’s various inhabitants inside seeking warmth, and brought a remarkable calm to the planet as a whole. And, as darkness fell, the small Solo family took full advantage of the weather induced lull in activity. Even after almost two years, the job of getting the Yuuzhan Vong settled into their new life called for near round the clock attention. Tahiri sat on the floor leaning back against her husband, allowing his arms to wrap around her midsection. She sighed, delighted to finally have a few quiet moments of peace. Being one third of a Jedi delegation tasked to help the Yuuzhan Vong settle into their new home was a great deal of work, to say the very least. Sure, she had stayed on Zonama Sekot for her own reasons, but as a Jedi, she couldn’t ignore the larger picture. Idly, Tahiri watched as flames danced in the fireplace, casting a soft glow over the simple living area. “Deep thoughts?” Anakin asked, teasingly. Tahiri smiled, her gaze still locked on the fireplace. “Just wondering how I got so lucky,” she said, softly. Anakin’s eyebrows nearly arched off his forehead. “Okay, Mrs. Solo, now I know you’ve had enough wine for one night!” “Very funny, dummy,” Tahiri replied, elbowing Anakin sharply in the ribs. “Ouch! Hey, that stung, Tahiri,” Anakin whined. “Don’t tell me that the great hero-boy from the stars can be bruised by little old me?” Tahiri feigned shock. Anakin leaned his chin out over Tahiri’s shoulder, glancing down at her belly before turning to catch her eye. “Little old you?” He questioned, one eyebrow quirked. “Watch it, Solo,” she growled, mischief flickering in her emerald eyes. “C’mon, you know you love me,” Anakin retorted, leaning closer so he could nuzzle her neck. “Wow, it really is amazing,” Tahiri stated, surprising Anakin. “What’s that?” Anakin inquired as he pulled back, truly perplexed by the statement. “Your mother is such a smart lady, but she actually fell for these clumsy, romantic tactics you and your dad use,” Tahiri replied, her head shaking. “So did you,” Anakin shot back, primly. “Yes, but like morning sickness, I expect it will pass eventually,” she responded without hesitation. Anakin pulled away from Tahiri, scooting around on the rug so he was facing her. “Nice, Tahiri, really nice.” Anakin tried to scowl at his pregnant wife, but what came out was more of an exasperated grin. “It’s the pregnancy, Anakin. Honest. All those hormones surging about, it’s terrible,” Tahiri explained. “You wouldn’t hold something that I said while carrying your child against me, would you?” Tahiri pouted at him. “Oh, that’s just not fair,” Anakin declared with mock outrage. “What is it they say again about life and fairness?” Tahiri tapped her cheek with one finger, thoughtfully. Anakin sighed loudly as he stood up. “Jorallen was right about you, you know?” Tahiri quirked a blond eyebrow at him. “You are a wicked, wicked woman,” he explained as he kissed the top of her head. “You always know just how to make me blush, dummy,” she parried, dryly. Anakin threw up his hands. “I give up!” He turned his back to her as he made his way towards the entrance to their small cave dwelling, intending to make sure everything was secure for the night. “Oh, C’mon, you know you love me,” Tahiri teased, a sly grin on her pretty face. Anakin stopped, turning back around very slowly. “Cute,” was all he said, his face displaying that “I should have seen it coming” look. “Thank you,” came Tahiri’s cheerful reply. “I’m going to make sure the entrance is sealed up tight, and then I’m going to take you to bed,” he said, firmly. “Speaking of wicked,” his wife remarked. “Well, a woman in such a condition needs all the rest she can get,” Anakin explained in an even tone as he returned from the mouth of their cave. “I’m not that pregnant yet!” Tahiri gasped, unable to hide her shock. Anakin stopped before her and looked down, smirking at his success. Smirk still plastered to his face, he extended his hand to help her to her feet. He had never been more grateful to his father than in that instant. It had been Han Solo who had informed him that for all the hellish side effects of pregnancy, there was one brief upside to a woman’s raging hormones. It would pass, of course, just like the morning sickness had for the most part, but in the mean time... Tahiri’s green eyes narrowed as she accepted her husband's offered hand and stood up. “Thank you, my Lord,” she said, sarcastically. Anakin ignored his wife’s little jibe and kissed her passionately, much to her surprise. “Forgiven?” He asked when they finally pulled apart. “Depends.” “On?” “Whether you’re going to make me go to sleep now or not?” Tahiri threaded her arms around Anakin’s neck and began to nibble his chin seductively. “Well, Jedi are masters when it comes to persuasion,” Anakin allowed. “And if you’re that set on...” “Anakin!” “Yes, Tahiri?” “Be a good dummy and shut up,” Tahiri ordered as she pulled back enough to look into Anakin’s blue eyes. Anakin only grinned before allowing his suddenly impatient wife to pull him down to the rug in front of their fireplace. A fireplace that grew cold that night long before either Anakin or Tahiri did. 	i love mush..and A/T mush is my absolute favorite kind of mush (it has the same effect on me that excessive doses of cafeen and sugar have on most normal people.) hope to see part 2 soon (A/T lack energy??? are we talking about the same chars???More! More! More!) I've skim read the first bit of your sith fic. sounds good except for evil anakin . will there be ne A/T mush in that one?? After all, this little viggie is in the same universe as that ‘fic... Sadly, no A/T mush in that ‘fic yet, but before it’s over...
