	Title: Preschool Horrors Author(s): C3P0_R2D2 Timeframe: When the YJK were in preschool. Characters: Anakin Solo, Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, Lowbacca, Raynar Thul, Tahiri Veila, Tenel Ka, Zekk. Genre: Uhh... Humor? Keywords: YJK Summary: points to title What do you think? And to be serious, the YJK kids just made it into preschool. Notes: They're all five, and I know this is sorta AU, 'cuz Tahiri didn't join up til later. Also, I'm assuming that at five, they can speak well. Trying to write in baby talk gives me migraines. Disclaimer: I don't own it. Wish I did, but don't. G. Lucas does. Post 1-The Solos. (Anakin, Jacen, Jaina) “But Mom, I don’t want to go, I was gonna mess around with C3P0’s wiring!” Jaina Solo ranted, drawing an “Oh my!” from C3P0, walking into the room. “Mom, don’t make us, I want to stay home and take care of my animals!” Jacen, Jaina’s twin agreed, gesturing to his room, where he housed his pet birds, lizards, and other animals, who where whistling, hooting, rattling, and basically making loud, annoying noises. “Mommy, I was gonna stay home and work on the 100 piece puzzle in my room, so don’t force us to go.” Anakin, the twin’s brother responded from the floor, putting together a small 50 piece puzzle, an X-wing, that had been a gift for his birthday, in the middle of the room. “Too bad. Tenel Ka, Zekk, Tahiri, and Lowie will be there.” Came their mother, Princess Leia’s response, knowing that would make them want to go. The Solo’s had recently been off-planet for a diplomatic function, which had isolated them from their friends for two months. “Okay then, I’m in, I can always work on my puzzle later.” After Anakin’s rapid response, his siblings chimed in too. “Me too, I already fed my animals for today.” Jacen said eagerly. “Me three. Threepio can wait.” Jaina nodded. “Thank goodness!” Came Goldenrod’s relieved cry. Leia grinned slightly. She knew that would make them want to come. “Okay then, let’s get ready to go.” She shooed the three into their separate rooms, and waited for them to dress. About five minutes later, the twins rushed out of their room, Jacen finger combing his hair and finishing zipping up his jumpsuit, and Jaina brushing her hair out, jumpsuit already zipped and immaculate. Anakin was slower, and when he came out, he was all ready. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~* The four arrived, with the three children looking around. Leia had some words with Luna and Sol, the attendants at the preschool, about allergies and what the three were and weren’t allowed to do. Then she gave Anakin, Jaina, Jacen a hug and a kiss on the cheek, with Jacen trying to run away, wanting to act grown-up, even if it was only his mom, his twin, his brother, and the attendants there. After Leia was gone, Anakin headed straight for the building blocks, deciding that he wanted play architect and build skyscrapers. He poured them all over the floor, making a huge mess, and then started to pile them up, organizing them and then putting them into a giant skyscraper. Jacen looked around, then walked up to Sol, the male attendant, and asked, “Are we allowed to go outside?” He gestured to the backyard, fenced and wooded. Sol ducked down to Jacen’s level. “Yes, you are. Just don’t leave the yard.” Jacen grinned and nodded, “Yes sir.” Jaina’s idea however, was to pull out items from the craft box, looking in disgust at the some of the simple kits, and let out a happy cry when she found a build-it-yourself-mini-computer set. She pulled it out, and started to work on it, knowing that when Lowie got there, he'd help her with the software. -------------------------------------------------- Please R&R, CC always welcome. 	They're all five. And after this it's going to go in a M-W-F update. So update tommorow. The next post is Tahiri. I've got an outline up to a certain point, then I'm accepting suggestions. 	Wow, and I thought this would come out crappy. And yet I'm getting good reviews. [face_shocked] Striker, I see what you mean about the toughtest critic being yourself. I think this isn't that good... But it's my first fic. And as for the idea... I'm not sure... I might keep this going into kindergarten and/or first grade, and if I do, I'll put it in there. If I don't, I'll try to fit it in. I'll prolly do some midget mush like that, but I'm not sure how to do some. However, I have a scene fleshed out that'd be good for J/TK kinda mush(sorta mush... I don't know if it would come out like that, or like just a protect-my-friend sorta thing), but I'm not sure if it'll come out like that. Either way, it should be good. PM me if any of you come up with other ideas. Also, do any of you guys know the scientific name for the part of the leg behind the knee? 	Post 2- Tahiri “Mom, hurry up! I want to leave!” Tahiri Veila near-shouted. “Anakin’s gonna be there, and so is Jacen and Jaina, and Lowie and Zekk, and Tenel Ka, and Anakin.” Her Mother blinked. “When Tahiri paused to take a breath, she pointed out, “You said Anakin twice.” Tahiri grinned, “I know, but he’s my best friend. And we’ll play with all the toys, but he’ll want to mainly play with the building toys, and that’ll be okay with me, so we’ll do that most of the time, ‘cuz I think it’s fun too, and I can make new friends, and we can all play house or something.” This was delivered in less than fifteen seconds, causing her mom to try to process the information for about five seconds, blinking several times. She finally gave up, and grinned. “That’s nice honey.” Tahiri grinned again, this time the smile staying on her face. “Yeah, it is. I’m gonna have so much fun.” Her mom nodded. “Yes, you are.” ------------------------------------------------------- Tahiri ran in the door when she got to the preschool, followed by her mother. She looked around, gave her mom a hug, and ran over to Anakin. “Hi Anakin!” Anakin grinned, “Hi Tahiri. Can we finish building the skyscraper?” He gestured to the currently 3 foot high structure. He’d resorted to using a chair to put the blocks on the top. “Okay Anakin.” Tahiri nodded, grabbing a pair of blocks and handing them to Anakin who was standing on the chair. “Give me a 2 by 2 block. No, not the green one, those are 2 by 3. The reds are 2 by 2.” “Oh, okay.” Tahiri handed him the red block. Anakin jumped off, and grinned. “We’re done.” He pointed at the top. “Now all we need is a flag.” Tahiri ran over to the toy chest and pulled out a handkerchief. She then grabbed a stick from outside, and tied the handkerchief to the stick. “I want to put it up!” She said to Anakin. He nodded, holding the chair when she climbed up. She was infamous for falling down from chairs, and oddly enough, not hurting herself. So letting her put it up wasn’t really that smart. But he wasn’t thinking about that. He just wanted to make his friend happy. But then he remembered, about two seconds before it happened. She fell, knocking the three-and-a-half foot, 5000 block, 3-foot by 3-foot wide structure to the ground. She sat up, rubbing her head. “Oww.” Anakin came over quickly, “Are you okay?” She nodded, “Yeah, I just bumped my head into the tower, but I’m fine. I don’t even have a bump.” Anakin grinned, “Good, but now we have that mess to deal with.” By this time, Sol had come running over, and Jacen had stuck his head inside, Jaina had already looked, and laughed at them. Jacen shook his head and went back to whatever he was doing, and Sol looked at them. “What happened?” He queried. “Tahiri tried to put the flag up, and fell down.” “Yeah, I’m clumsy!” Tahiri said, smiling endearingly. Sol nodded, and gestured to the mess. “Okay, just clean that up.” “Yes sir!” Tahiri and Anakin said at the same time, saluting. Sol shook his head laughing, and walked away, leaving Anakin and Tahiri to pick up the mess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~ Did it suck? Voice your opinion, please.
