i think a new hope still needs the most work. because after ep 3 its going to look pretty tame effects wise . they really need to fix those lightsabers , and add a small scene of vader landing on coursant and talking to sidious . also its a good excuse to have that planet in ep4 . also tart up the death star battle section , all cgi x-wings and ties.

I agree to some extent, but all the ships should not be CGI, we still want a memory of a distant time when filmmakers used things called models and pyrotechnics! No, seriously, they still do. But I agree that ANH needs most attention, add Imp March and make lightsabers all the same good quality of the PT.

I don't know if anyone said this already, but they should put Yoda and Palps into ANH, so that they'd be in every episode. Also, they should add something shocking to the part where Palps electrocutes Luke. Most people didn't see that coming, and it therefore became "OMG!" Also, they should explain in RotS why Palps can't use a lightsaber anymore. Now that we know that at one point he could, his demise seems kind of pathetic (a la Boba Fett).

I'll take whatever I get, but the lightsabers would be the first thing I would fix in the OT. I would also replace some of the computer screens in ANH with something a bit more modern(and accurate, in case of the Death Star plans).

However, I want to remind everyone to be very careful with spoilers or even potential spoilers! It's best to stay clear of them altogether, but if you really want to, post them as highlight-to-read-spoilers.

Hopes what should be in RotS don't belong in this forum anyway.

I'm in the camp that thinks Mr.Lucas should release a remasterd version of the original trilogy. Even though i'm tempted to do so I won't purchase the versions Lucas has alterd so much.

At the end of ROTJ I'd love to see a montage of all the planets in the SW saga (Tatooine, Bespin, Naboo, Kashyyk, Kamino, Coruscant etc.) playing to the Special Edition celebration music, then show the celebration on Endor playing to the original "Yub Yub" song.
