	after han tries to blast the door luke tells him that they already tried that so he had alreay tried to blast the door and thas why he knew it was sealed.

	Let's not forget that the sense of time in Star Wars is dramatically understated. What seems like 5 seconds on Star Wars may, in fact, be 5 minutes. A half hour on Dagobah might seem like a few days, but in reality is suppose to be a couple of months. Hyperspace travel... a few minutes? a few hours? an all day trip? There's no way to tell, and apparently GL didn't think the sense of passage of time was all that important. (A flaw repeated in the PT too.) We are forced to either fill in the blanks for him, or accept that it took Luke 5 seconds to shoot the door and have the blaster shot ricochet around the metal garbage chute before Han landed with a kersplash.

	I watched movie again: It took three seconds for Han to follow Luke down garbage shute, and 2econds for his blaster shot to land safely.

	Too bad Luke didn't have his lightsaber, he could have sliced through the door like Qui Gon did in TPM. 	Luke lands, shoots, blast ricochettes. Han lands, complains (or whines depending how you choose to view any character who ever has a complaint), gets out his gun, and aims. LUKE: No, wait! See? They did try to warn Han. But, Han doesn't listen. LUKE: Would you forget it!? I've already tried it, it's magnetically sealed! "It" heavily implies the "it" that Han just tried himself. Not, "I already tried opening the door!" However, Luke could've been smart (or lucky) and had his blaster's power lower than Han's and dropped, fired, and gave up knowing it was magnetically sealed. -----signature----- As has been said: Don't **** with Kenobi
