A new squadron. Awesome. As great as Rogue Squadron is, it's nice when they don't do everything.

Hmm, I would be so totally stoked if Ibitstam is one of the pilots in that new B-wing unit. IIRC, it would curtail nicely into her being one of the original B-wing pilots. Hell, for that matter, it would be awesome is Ten Numb is part of it too. grin

Of course, the real hero of this arc is Admiral Ackbar. Who has been needing some screen time since he passed away in The Unifying Force. happy

Including Ibtisam or Numb would be fantastic.

Finally the B-wing gets some love!

I was hoping it would be Scavenger Squadron but I guess this is to early in the war for them.

Why do we have a sweet bunch of artworks in front of a low-res, pixelated explosion photograph? raised_brow

But yeah, it's sweet to see B-Wings. peace

Wasn't sure about Wilson's art when I first saw it in Legacy, but it grew on me and after reading Battler Briton, I came to like his style. It works best for action war stories which this is. He's also doing what every great SW artist has done very well yet in a unique style: Draw really scary bastard Star Destroyers. wink

If they used the Scavengers, that would be so incredibly awesome, the author who re-introduced them would outrank Luceno as a master of continuity.

My God, I have not thought of Scavenger Squadron in years. That was one crack Y-wing unit. It was also neat because they managed to capture several frigates from Kuat for the Alliance Fleet. What I remember liking most about them was the fact that the squadron leader felt uncomfortable being on the mission while the rest of the fleet was engaged at Endor.

Ah well, Dagger Squadron will be fun to see. As Havac said, nice to see more elite squadrons in the Alliance.

Fixed. cool

Considering this is called "small victories", I am assuming that this doesn't go horribly wrong for them and we actually get to see the Bs get the respect they deserve.

I'm looking at the preview, and I recall how Jariah Syn from the Legacy comics like to make things go boom. If he could see this preview, he'd feel like he's seeing a dream come true - a series of gigantic booms going off nearly right after each other.
