	When did you get notified? How much time did they give you to fill out the forms? Is it going to be a big time-consuming pain in the arse?

	It's not that bad really. I receieved the email just before 6:00am today (Friday Australian Eastern - which is 1:00pm Thursday Pacific US). It's really just getting a few more details (address, phone, etc), making sure you're aware of the music policy, and querying the source of the backgrounds I used. Fairly straightforward. The tricky bit may be getting my head around the IRS form. Oh and they need everything back by 3:00pm on Monday June 9 (which for me is Tuesday morning).

	Congrats Scott! Hope you kick butt and take names in the contest! Congrats to everyone else who has made the competition...or any competition for that matter. It is always a special feeling! That's what I thought, if you don't get an email this week, then you don't get in. I sent Cinemagic (this year's cut I edited out most of the documentary start, thought that might have been a problem) in twice (2007,2008) and it was rejected twice so I think it tells me I need to work harder on my next project...and never send that film in again. No hard feelings though. It's all part of any competition you enter. Make films to learn, have fun, and get better. Sometimes special things happen and sometimes they don't but it is always an amazing feeling to start with an idea, write it on a piece of paper and then see it take shape into the finished product. I know on this board when it comes to talent I'm at the bottom of the line and still have a lot to learn. There is a lot of great advice and resources on this board to help. I still think it's the best film making forum on the web (it just happens to be disguised as a star wars fan film site) It's a fun journey and looking back at where I started to where I am now, I've learned a lot and quite a bit of that knowledge comes from this site. 	I imagine today is the last day they send out acceptance, as Scott said they need everything by monday. Well. As jordan mentioned earlier, we haven't recieved a message yet. But i still have a small strand of hope. Wierd. How a movie we made last year was accepted...and only had about 8 hours of work put into it....but this year's production spanned a few months....and it probably won't get accepted. 	Yeah cheers. I sent Cinemagic (this year's cut I edited out most of the documentary start, thought that might have been a problem) in twice (2007,2008) and it was rejected twice so I think it tells me I need to work harder on my next project...and never send that film in again. Wouldn't get too down hearted. My entry is pretty basic really. And I've learned a lot since I made it. So much so that when I watched it again yesterday I cringed a couple of parts that I could've fixed. No matter. It's an example of where I was at that point.
