After seeing AOTC for the 4th time I have reflected about what I had seen. I also have a theory as to the events of Episode 3 "Revenge of the Sith", so here it goes.

The Clone Wars have actually gotten worse, much worse before it got any better and entire star systems are left devestated. Obi Wan and Anakin return to Coruscant after serving Bail Organa and Senator Amidala.

The Republic has practically torn itself into shreds, the Senate bickers over the smallest issues and progress seems to move backwards before it ever goes forwards. The jedi have secretly been investigating the possibilities that all is not what it seems and discovers that Sidious is Palpatine and blows the lid off the whole conspiracy but they need to explain this to the Seperatists.

Anakin and Padme are expecting a child and their marriage has been discovered and he has been expelled from the Jedi Order. He feels betrayed and full of anger and resentment. If it wasn't for the Jedi Order his mom would be alive, he has given 10-14 years of his life and he has been betrayed.


The Jedi and Amidala set up a secret meeting with Nute Gunray, Lott Dodd, the leaders of the Techno Union and the Intergalactic Banking Clan and explains that they were being used and decieved all along and the longer they seperate themselves from the republic the worse all will be.

The Jedi/Seperatists meeting has been discovered by Palpatine and he also learned of Anakins banishment and Padme's pregnancy, thanks to Anakin informing him. Palpatine reveals himself as Sidious and tells him that the Jedi are scared of him and they never intended for him to reach his full potential.

But the darkside is stronger and the jedi have taken sides with the Seperatists. Chancellor Palpatine reveals all to the Republic, the secret meeting, Dooku a former jedi master who leads the seperatists and as long as the jedi are around there will always be trouble. Anakin is now embraced the darkside and knows that he must kill Dooku to become Sidious's right hand man. Only in joining the darkside can he and Padme be spared the great Jedi purge.

Anakin wants to confront Dooku but he has more pressing matters. The Jedi realize the full scope of all that is coming and confront Padme (already has given birth to twins) who is torn in two and cannot face losing Anakin to Palpatine but also realizes that her children will become pawns of Palpatine and may face the same fate the Jedi will face. She gives Luke to Yoda and she leaves with Bail Organa for Alderaan. Obi-Wan will meet Yoda on Dagobah to pick Luke up.

As the starships leave Obi-Wan turns to confront Anakin and to possibley turn Anakin back from the darkside and a major lightsaber duel erupts that pushes both of them to the limits of there powers and after a limb or 2 removed from Anakin he recieves a few scores to his chest and falls off a bulding and to his death but lands partially in the bottom molten core of Coruscant and Obi-Wan leaves heart broken for Dagobah.

Yoda lands on Dagobah and as he sits meditating he feels a familiar tremor in the force and a ship lands and a figure walks down the ramp. "Dooku not here you should have come" and lightsabers clash and after an intense battle Yoda hands Dooku's lightsaber to him. Dooku's ship sinks in the swamp and the darkside left a strong impression in the ship's entrance (cave) and cancels out Yoda's presence in the Force and since the planet is so full of life detecting Jedi on that planet is impossible. Yoda decides that this will be his home now and another ship lands.

This time the disturbance is a welcome one, Obi-Wan arrives and tells Yoda that Anakin is lost but he still leaves. His journey to the darkside is complete and he cannot be saved, he may even be dead but obi-Wan knows that he isn't the Anakin he knew.

Palpatine monitored the whole duel and has Anakins body retrieved and only his own dark will has kept him alive and he must be repaired. Enter Darth Vader.

Palpatine declares himself Emperor and puts the pieces back together and Darth Vader hunts down all of the jedi like sadistic animals, either falling by Vaders blade or a stormtroopers blaster bolts.

Obi-Wan reaches Tatooine and explains to Owen and Beru Lars what has happened. He tells him this boy is there only hope an pleads with them not to let him leave Tatooine until Obi-Wan approaches Luke at a much later time. Owen agree's and they raise Luke as if he was their own.

More and more jedi are slain by Vader. The total is close to 10,000 and even the young padawan learners are not spared. It's dark, very Dark

That is a really good theory and a lot like what I have come up with. However, I feel that Anakin will be the one to take down Dooku.

Here is a scene I would love to see towards the end of Episode III.

Darth Vader, flanked by a lot of clonetroopers, breaks into the Jedi Temple. He orders them to take out the all the Jedi present except Mace Windu and Yoda. Just to hear Vader say (insert your best James Earl Jones impression here) "Master Windu and Master Yoda, leave them to me." This will be similar to Vader's entrance in ANH aboard Tantive IV.

Of course, a great lightsaber duel would ensue between Vader, Mace, and Yoda. Mace will insist that Yoda leave towards the beginning of the duel and save himself, for he knows that Yoda will be needed to help train Luke years down the line. Now we get a great Vader and Mace duel. I would love to a see a duel where Vader casually takes it to Mace, while looking at Mace you can see him struggling to survive against Vader and the Dark Side. Mace just hopes to buy enough time for Yoda to board a ship and leave Coruscant. Vader strikes down Mace.

Of course, Vader and Palpatine both think Yoda is dead in the OT, since they don't mention him, and Vader always assumes that Obi-Wan was the one that trained Luke. So something has to happen that makes them think Yoda is dead in Episode III.
