	As much as I really enjoyed the The New Essential Guide to Characters I also feel that there were just way too many omissions. There are characters missing who are actually quite important to the overall scheme of things, and ones from sources that many might not know about, like the video games, and would go a long ways to enhancing the Expanded Universe. I certainly do not blame Daniel Wallace for any omissions- I know he only had a limited amount of pages with which he could fil. But this means there is room, I think, for a second book. Here is a partial list of who I think should be added: Nomi Sunrider Tot Doneeta Freedon Nadd Vima Da Boda Desann Galak Fyarr Tahiri Tenal-Ka Ganner Rhysode Winter Tionne Sariss Yun Gorc Pic Maw Qu-Rahn Grodon Tierce Plif Aayla Secura Bultar Swan If you think there should be more, please list ones that I have missed. -----signature----- Sheila, come back! 	I too have noticed many omissions, in addition to yours: Mirax Terrik Hal Horn Nejja Halcyon Wes Jansen Most of the Rogues Most of the Wraith's Cay Qel-Droma Master Thon of Ambria Master Arca of Arkania Andur Corran and Mirax's two sons Almost ALL of the young Jedi Knights Shedoa Shai (I could be wrong about him) Ganner Rhysode (I could be wrong about him) Wurth Skidder I'm sure there's more but I just can't think of them right now.

	Definitely Plif. In fact, I still think there needs to be a Union: Special Edition with Luke's "bestest buddy" inserted as a groomsman. Probably one of the key issues of that mini-series was the clear absence of key friends of Luke. 	I thought of a few more: Jek Porkins Biggs Darklighter I don't remember seeing Garm Bel Iblis The Jedi that Luke was training that was seduced to the dark side by Exar Kun on Yavin 4 in the Jedi Academy Trilogy of whom I forget his name. All the other Jedi Masters he trained from the Jedi Academy Trilogy. The women he met that supposedly knew his mother in the Black Fleet Crisis Most of Talon Karrde's men. Master Odan-Uur Master Ood The rest of the original Jedi from the Golden age and Fall of the Sith Empire. Wedge's Wife. The list will continue...

	Plif didn't go to the wedding for three reasons. 1. Mara Jade's aura gives him a telepathic headache. 2. He just hates mara jade as a person(hoojib), and was against luke marrying her from the start. So he didn't go to the wedding on pretense. 3. He liked Bria better. Then one asks what was plif doing during ROTJ? When his friends were off doing stuff, on the death star, or endor, or millenium falcon. Obviosly they have their own priorities.

	Some of these wouldn't work, there just isn't enough NEW info for the characters. And the guides have always had a devirsity to them, having half the guide as TotJ characters, another portion JK series characters, and then some sort of thing for all the minor characters in the movies and books isn't going to work. For Rogues and Wraiths check out Insider's Who's Who in Rogue Squadron. I wasn't talking about minor characters myself. The ones I listed are actually fairly important, as are some that other people have provided. To say that Nomi Sunrider isn't important enough to warrant an entry in a new book is silly, she was practically the star of the TOTJ era IMO, even though Exar Kun and Ulic got all the press.
