Sorry but i was just wondering where does Boba Fett obtain HIS armour coz i heard somewhere that he takes Jangos but they are a completely different colour. Also if any of u have read the Jango Fett Open Seasons comic u would know about Jaster Mereel and I think after he dies maybe Jango took his armour and then boba wore it as they are very similar.

It's an EU thing.
Mandalorian Wars took place long time ago, before clone wars. The armor is supposed to be almost indestructable I beleive.
Not sure if the armor Jango wears is the same as Boba Fetts in the OT. I imagine it probably is with some minor adjustments boba made over time which would explain the different look.
Im sure though a new EU book will come out offering more insight into how boba fett went from holding his "dads" head in his hands to the most fearsome bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Yeah he probably did modify it so as not to confuse with his father and to basically not live in his shadow.

New Essential Guide to Characters says that Boba's armor is a set that once belonged to Jaster Mereel.

"Fett dresses in fearsome armor of Mandalorian design. The battle-scarred suit's design heritage can be traced back 4,000 years, when clans of Mandalores fought against the Jedi during the Great Sith War. The armor is heavily modified with numerous hidden and deadly features. The T-shaped visor set in the helmet incorporates a macrobinocular viewplate. He owns multiple armor sets (as you can see with the differences in the armor between the films), but he mainly wears Jaster Mereel's armor, which jango had stored away (the red skull symbol was the ensignia for Jaster's Mandalorian unit).
However, when he was younger (around 12-13), he wore Jango's armor (refitted and repainted).
At some point after ROTJ he also took Jodo Kast's armor from him as well.

it would make sense for jango to keep jasters armour as he was his mentor and 'father'. Jaster got shot right in the chest by vizlas tank so boba must have done some good modifications. by the ways jaster is badass.

Hmmm...just wondering but what exactly does "sawed-off" mean and how does it affect how the weapon is fired?
