Does Vader notice that Luke is carrying his old lightsaber in ESB?

Just wondering since now we all know of the importance and history of that specific lightsaber. It just seems like vader doesn't even notice that luke is carrying the same lightsaber that vader used to kill younglings and fight obi-wan.
Does anybody notice a shot that shows vader noticing the lightsaber, and do you think it should or shouldn't be included in the film?

no, but in roj he notices that luke has created a new lightsaber, you would think that he might mention his old lightsaber...especially since it has history attached to it...

the color of the blade is blue which is common, but the handle of each lightsaber is different and personal to the person who made it, plus the jedi is supposed to have a strong bond with their own lightsaber, which is why they have to make it themselves.

yeah but as the PT shows, Jedi's go through a ton of lightsabers. I dont think there is any sentimental value to any of them.

true, but this lightsaber in terms of the films has a lot of significance, and it can't be that common since obi-wan does pick it up after their duel, i doubt he would've picked up anakin's blaster if he carried one.

Well in the ROTJ novel, when Vader says "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber..." Luke responds "Yes, I no longer use your's". But that dosen't count for muhc, the same novel also says that Owen is Bens brother and that Anakin didn't know about Padme's prenancy...

By the time he confronted Luke he knew he was his son. Why would he pay attention to a lightsaber?

Maybe, but General Grevious has a green bladed lightsaber that's hilt is identical to Obi-wan's.

HE picked it up to take back to Yoda as evidence that Anakin was destroyed, plus since it is the weopon of a Jedi and held in High Regard, I doubt you simply leave one laying around.

Greivious also has one that lookslike Anakin's. I forgot what color that one was, it could have been blue, but I'm not sure.
