Corpseys death was such a downer in RotJ. His poor friend cried on his corpse. I think the ending of RotJ should have focused more on Corpsey and his ultimate sacrifice.

I always felt really bad for that little Ewok. It was such an emotional death for a character that I really shouldn't have given any attention to.

I do feel badfor him. I like to think after the battle all the dead ewoks were healed by the force. Naive, I know, but that's all that helps me get through the pain.

I felt sorry for the little bugger. And that is what I discussed in my very own thread (plug): TPM final battle.
I was saddened by Corpsey the Ewok (love the name) but I also thought it heightened the drama and made us sympathize for their situation. In TPM, on the other hand, we see all these Gungans like they are some wacky Gumby figures prancing around the field. Not much interest or danger there. I seriously though Lucas should've showed one or two Gungans dying in battle, since this is Star Wars (WAR!?! HELLO?!? WAR!!) and people/furry guys/aliens can, and DO, die.
Rest in peace Corpsey the Ewok. He was 27 years old.

Yah, I totally agree. I mean, sure, if you squint and look REALLY hard into the background you can see gungans dying, but otherwise you don't see anything. Heck, you don't even see many dead gungans lying around- especially in the foreground!

depression followed be for almost 2 years after i saw rotj for the first time
i started drinking, my family and friends abanded me and to this day im still getting over my drug problem
i was doing better until YOU had to bring it up in this thread
