Problems with ROTS Figures/Toys Thread
In this thread, let's state any problems we're having with our ROTS figures and toys, and maybe someone will be able to help out or give us an answer.
I'll start...
Darth Vader (#11) - I'm having lots of trouble getting mine to stand. I know that articulated knees would help, but is anyone else having this problem?
Anakin Skywalker (#28) - I cannot get the robotic arm into its socket. The plug just seems to be too big. The regular arm, however, fits in nicely... as the plug is smaller.
Also... I can't get him to stand very easily.

PhantomMenace, I feel like such an idiot! I either totally forgot about Anakin's (#28) robotic arm, or that it was just placed in the most ridiculous of places. Behind the picture and at the almost bottom of the plastic. Wow! For someone who wouldn't know that it came with the robotic hand, would probably just toss out the packaging and never know it was there. Thank god I save my packaging. I'm sure I would have figured it out sooner or later. But thanks for the heads-up PhantonMenace! Later

I wouldn't really call this a problem but I've found that the 12 inch General Grievous' forearms tend to pop off pretty easy when you try and pose the figure.
Still, the sculpting is amazing and he looks great holding all four lightsabers.

I also have noticed the the 12" GG arms do come off VERY easily. Also for anyone else how has the 12" GG; how do you get him to hold the lightsabers? I have tried wraping his hands around them, but that is not working. Has anyone had any success with this?

If you take the small plastic strips that hold the sabers to the packaging you can twist them arond the hands and sabers to have the figure hold them.
It works very well and from a distance you don't even notice them.

#11 Mace-The "force lightening throw" doesn't really work right. But I don't really think there's anything wrong with the figure. They just made the lightening too heavy for him to throw.

^I do that too. It works really well.

not really a problem, but a design issue...in order to get the cape/cloak off of the magnadroid or bail organa, you have to pop their heads off. i guess you are supposed to do that, because that's the only way the guard's action feature really works. it's not a big deal, it just seems odd. it just bothers me because i have several vintage figures that i had to glue the head back on when i was a kid.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I'm telling you, the Grievous figure is incredible with his arms split out. It takes up the space three of the 12 inch figures would normally use.

rebelwookie... Yes, you're supposed to pop off the Magna Droid's head to take off the cape.
Is it just me, or is the Magna Droid really small?
About the twelve inch Grievous... I didn't get it, but I think the 12" range is aimed towards collectors, and not generally meant to be taken out of the box and played with. I got the 12" Saga Dooku on clearance a few months back, and I had a terrible time getting him to hold his lightsaber. The grip wasn't strong enough to hold it. The clear rubberbands do work pretty well... I use them for basic figures who can't hold their weapons well.

Thanks for the advise. Your idea worked, but I was only able to attach 2 of the sabers. When you seperate his arms the hands are just to weak to hold one.

No question about that. Any kid that buys this toy to play with will be very unhappy as the forearms pop off every few seconds.

I was able to set mine up with all four sabers.

I lost my Sidious saber.
It was my favorite.
I went to sleep, and when I woke up it was gone!!! Damn scalper tooth fairies!
Does anyone else know if the Saber Attack Palpy or any other Palpy/Sidious figure has another of his red sabers? I really need that back.

The deluxe Sidious/Palpatine has the same red saber. He looks pretty cool, plus he's got the force lightning.

It seems like the body parts in this line pop off really really easy. I guess they could be intentional and are actually spoilers. We'll have to see when the movie comes out.
