Greetings Jedi. I am BOOSTERERRANT, Jedi Master and founder fo this thread. I am here because of the call for the Lightside Jedi to unite and stand against darkness. I am here because there is no ACTIVE Jedi group in this Community. I am also here to say that this thread WILL engage in FREQUENT RP battle. If you wsnt to RP the Sith, this is the place to do so.

The ranks will be as follow.

JEDI Council

The First 5 members will be on the council alongside myself. For the time being, I shall assume the position of Chairman.

Jedi MASTERS

These go to the next 10 positions, or whoever I deem to be most fit based on experience, credentials, ID Check and post history.

Responcible for

1. Training a Padawan
2. Doing an assigned job
3. Following the JEDI CODE and the THREAD CODE OF HONOR AND ETHICS
4. Maintaining order in the thread
5. RPing only where RP's are permitted

JEDI KNIGHTS

The next 20 members will be deemed Jedi KNIGHTS. Ranks from previous orders may be transferred based on the situation.

Responcibilities

1. Take on a padawan learner
2. Patrol assigned areas
3. Report to their cell or squadron leader once a month
4. Execute designated individual tasks
5. RP in RP area and places that permit it
6. Follow JEDI CODE and THREAD CODE OF HONOR AND ETHICS
7. No in thread disputes. Take it to PM

JEDI PADAWANS OR APPRENTICES

*UNLIMITED

1. Get a Master
2. Obey the Master
3. Do not engage in Battle without Master unless left with no other option.
4. Obey the JEDI CODE and THREAD CODE OF HONOR AND ETHICS
5. Go on training missions
6. Report with Master after every mission to the Jedi Council
7. ALWAYS seek council's permission

SPECIAL FORCES....

CELL OR SQUAD LEADERS

prerequisite: Must be at least a Jedi Master with 600 or more posts.

duties: Organize fighting force or suadron for more organized RP. Remember, this is a family, and family watches out for one another.

JEDI BODY GUARDS

prerequisite: Must be a Jedi Knight who is willing to stay at the thread base for extended time intervals. Combat skill required.

duties: Protect the thread and those in it from those with hostile intent. Serve Jedi Master's with fanatic sense of duty.

JEDI INFORMANTS

prerequisite: none

duties: Serve as recon. Spy enemy threads and post report here to the Jedi Council.

JEDI SCIENTISTS

prerequisite: Some sort of scientific or upper educatonal backround. Must have a very high IQ.

duties: Design new weapons, adhere to wishes of the council when constructing. Come up with innovative things that will give the order an edge.

JEDI AMBASSADORS

prerequisite: Must be a Jedi Knight or a Padawan with over 400 posts.

duties: Serve as liason to other threads and the EU SENATE. Work closely with Jedi council. Also, be in contact with the EU Mod, GENGHIS12. ( remember, you must adhere to the MOD's authority. Insubordination will cause expulsion from rank and suspension from the Order itself )

JEDI STRATEGIST

prerequisite: Battle experience. Preferred RP war experience.

duties: Form strategies in all out war RP's.

THE CODE OF HONOR AND ETHICS

1. I shall not break the Jedi Code

2. I shall live for the good of others, protecting them with a swift and just hand,

3. I shall be courteous to the Moderators and other authority figures, respecting them at all times.

4. I shall leave those who do not wish to fight out of fights.

5. I shall defend. Even if defend means attack.

6. I shall resist the darkside and oppose it everywhere I go.

Your first duty is to find more potentials for the Galactic Defenders. Anyone you bring to the order will further your authority and standing, as well as your pride in this place.

I'd suggest that you give serious consideration to engaging in INfrequent RP battle. Otherwise, this forum, would be more appropriate for this thread.

EUC Is not the "Fan Activities: Roleplaying" Forum.

Thanks for your understanding. The Expanded Universe Community (EUC) forum is generally-speaking, a forum to allow you to get to know your fellow Star Wars Expanded Universe (EU) fans through EU-centered discussions.

Fan "associations" can, of course, have some degree of rp'ing aspects to them, as long as they are centered around the discussion of EU, discussion of EU fans, or some other aspect of the EU.

There's quite a number of different angles, this thread can have. And that's great.

Just as long as you aren't defined as a thread, or as an association by your rp'ing aspects.

That's what the rp'ing forum is for.

Summary
EUC thread/association with rp'ing aspects = okay

rp'ing thread/association with EU aspects = not okay
