	Sorry about the delay in getting around to doing this. Xmas and New Year created a pleasant but time-consuming interruption. I thought before we establish the thread on the Beyond the Saga Board we need to do a little brainstorming. It's probably easier if I suggest some ideas and then anyone interested can join in and add their own. When I thought of this idea I visualised a thread for little snippets, both fiction and non-fiction, centering on Anakin and/or Tahiri. I'd like the thread to be a place for new writers to test the waters so to speak and have a go at writing something - even if it's just a few lines, a metaphor, an image, anything basically that focuses on our favourite couple. I'd also like anyone who wants to add a piece - be they new or old - to feel comfortable doing so. I see the thread as a celebration of the characters, and so anything that contributes to that will be welcome. Ideas for written pieces: vignettes, very short one-post stories, poems, plot ideas, "letters" or "postcards" written either from one character to the other or from the writer to one of the characters, short essays, reviews of books in which either character appeared, songs, art work, anything else your imagination can conjure up. Length - preferably one-posters, although I'm sure if you wanted to reserve a few posts we could fit in with that. If we use this to plan and communicate and schedule posts, then we can keep the thread for feedback. So - what do you think? I know a few people have already expressed an interest in this, but the more the merrier. And how would you like to run the thread? Do you want a few little challenges just to get everyone thinking? Or do some people already have pieces they'd like to post? Some ideas as to how to get going would be great. 	I mainly write Rouge/Wraith and YJK stuff, but I might move into a little A/T. 	3MD Yep - it could be a little like the old 17th century cafe idea where writers used to get together and share snippets, except in our case the coffee will be virtual reality. And yes - a place for new writers to get noticed, but also for them to try out ideas in a supportive setting. It can be quite scary posting a piece of writing for the first time. It's often the case that when you're writing a story it generates ideas that you can't include in that story, but that you don't want to waste. So we could post them in the scrapbook. It doesn't matter if they're incomplete. Lonewolf Astral! Yes - fun is the main idea. We'll wait for a few days and see who else is interested - I realise life is busy for most people at present. Then maybe we could begin with a challenge just to get everyone thinking. 	The planning thread has arrived, yippie! Ok, I wish I had something constructive to add but my brain is a bit fried at the moment, Tahi. I think it would be great to have a thread for all those little A/T pieces that don't quite fit elsewhere. The length you mentioned for posts sounds good to me. Also it answers the question I had about my little in progress work, I think. Anyhow, this looks promising, and I'll be back when I actually have something useful to add. 	Good point, Lonewolf. I'll do that. Yoda - Yup, people often get ideas for short pieces when they're writing longer stories - even if it's an alternative scene to an in-progress story. 	Destiny and Moff - cool. Thanks. Like a scrapbook it's going to be a hotch potch of items - which I think could work well as it will give great variety. We can have challenges to get people thinking, but we won't stop people adding other pieces if the spirit moves them. 	This would be the ideal place for that TVS. This thread can be our discussion place and "support" thread - and then the thread we start on the fic board will have the finished pieces.
