Shane Felux and Panic Struck Productions have provided us with a terrific look at their film, Star Wars Revelations.

The destruction of the Jedi Temple is devastating. Accusing Separatists of the attack, Emperor Palpatine declares martial law on Coruscant.

As Imperial presence spreads to most systems, Palpatine calls the scattered Jedi order ineffective. Their protests denounced as treason, all Jedi are declared traitors and are now fugitives of the Empire.

Check it out and let them know what you think.

Repost from the previous thread in case the info helps any:

If you look at the EQ and the master volume of the sections with only music and effects you'll see the sound is nice, rich and loud throughout (normalized/compressed). When you then look at the EQ and master volume for the parts where dialogue is spoken you should see a fairly dramatic difference in volume and frequency loss.

What I'm getting at is you guys need to normalize/compress the dialogue volumes and bring up the music a bit. The dialogue is going to get lost in the mix otherwise. I just want to see the audio hold up to the video which is already very awesome.

Here's a screenshot in Vegas Video to show you what I mean.

The look is professional and very well done. I'm not so sure how the acting's gonna be, but I'd certainly like to be surprised.

Pretty darn good. Liked the stormtroopers-a-plenty and the dancing girl in the hologramthingy (though she didn't seem to be putting much effort into the dance).

The color scheme and general look of the cinematography is awesome -- BUT not particularly StarWarsy. I hope this was the intent, because I definitely felt I was watching something inspired more by LOTR or Matrix or (to use a less popular example?) Underworld, as far as cinematography went. Same for the shot of the rope coming toward us and the exploding glass. They were cool, but I had trouble reconciling them with the SW style.

Loved the red-dressed woman's hairdo.

This looks like it'll be a jolly good bit of fun.

for the most part is was pretty good, some of the animations were awesome, and some were sub par

The men fighting with sabers was better than the women

The male actors were more convincing than the lead women

The compositing and color correcting were great

the emperor ruined some of it for me, I thought he was a puppet at first

The bar scene looks very impressive

all in all it looks like it is going to be quite entertaining happy

Yeah. I was having problems with some of the effects and with the style, but we were going okay until we saw the Emperor. That sucked me totally out of the moment and I really didn't appreciate any of the trailer after that.

That said, most of the effects are pretty awesome-looking.
