Ok, here we go. I've seen a ton of topics asking for hosting information so I searched the forum (and a little bit of the web very briefly) to find all I could about basic hosting options for y'all to look over. It just seems silly to me to be pasting the same URL's all the time so here's a bunch of them all at once. 
Feel free to post hosts you have used (with success/tragedy stories if possible) so we can give this stuff a fair look.

What more can I say? These guys work hard and reward their customers regularly with upgrades and such. No complaints here and I'll probably use this as my main hosting site until the internet goes boom.

Great thread, DV.
Deserves a sticky for sure.
I'm with MD webhosting .
It's only costing me AUS$10 a month for 1.5gig webspace with 25gig bandwidth and free domain name for a year.
It's a VERY affordable deal for people like us that don't need MASSES of space but still want to upload test clips etc.
Once again, good job DV.

I second the FileFront recommendation - that site is proving extremely helpful and is very easy to use once you get used to it.

I've got a domain on dreamhost.com (though I'm still working on an actual site to host there), and it's pretty easy to use. They run sales all the time, too, which is pretty cool. I got 3x the storage and bandwidth for the normal price when I signed up.
Now I just need to work more on that site . . .

Excellent topic DV.
I'm expecting to be in the market for a hosting service in a few months when my free 1and1 account runs out, and I'm very much interested in getting about 1 GB of space and as much fast reliable bandwidth as is possible for negligble costs.
