No, the music used for the credits is
Across the Stars
... you know, the love theme from AOTC...

RE: RECIPROCITY
Some notes:
1. I would have liked to have seen something done with the relationship between the sith and the Jedi. I don't think that was explored enough.
2. Don't steal lines out of Final Fantasy - that made me cringe.
3. As you mentioned Rann, wasn't depicted very well.
4. Beautifull Blue-screening.
5. Some of the lighting in the filmed scenes was just too dark, I could barely see what was on-screen.
6. Beautiful opening sequence, one of the best i've seen.
7. In some way Nomi and Soontar had to be together in the end, i felt that was left un-finished.
9. The film in some parts didn't flow smoothly, i felt it was too long in some parts.
10. I loved the whispering, and the dream sequence.
11. It wasn't particularly clear that they were Soontar and the other guy were sith, perhaps you should have had them in their first scene with the full Sith Cloak.
Overall an excellent film. Nice to see something refreshing and different.

Eclips, I'm actually happy that you metioned the part about us being Sith. We are not Sith. Scott was sure to keep with the whole only two Sith at any one time rule. As such we don't dress exactly like them. We do have hoods, but we don't wear the large, black robes. Even at the ending when my charecter has his hood on, it's only connected to the tunic-like shirt he's wearing. Scott was really going for making that distinction with our costumes. Did you see a difference between Inquisitors (Soonter, Inq #2) and the Sith (Rann)? Should we have explained the difference a bit more? Thanks for chiming in. Everyone is really helping us out.

RE: RECIPROCITY
Really nice job guys.
Fantastic story, excellent effects and some really nice original elements.
Just to get this out of the way, there were two things that really nagged at me while watching that detracted from the overall entertainment value. One is the sound mix, which has been covered pretty well in previous posts.
The other thing was slow pacing. Not just the story, but down to scenes, shots and even fight choreography in some instances. The hand to hand work during the fight with militia seems slow, and there were just many shots through out the film that just seemed to linger on screen past their usefulness. I kept wanting the plot to move on.
There was one other minor plot element that bothered me.
The fact that the militia, which was too afraid to even face the Jedi, would try to stand up to the two guys that quickly defeated those Jedi. Again, this is just a minor thing.
That said, the hard work you've put into this really shows and has paid off, in my opinion.
The compositing work is some of the best in any fan film.
The story is very original. I really liked the Jedi "haunting" elements and dream sequences.
The character development was refreshing and the interaction between the inquisitors was done well, as was the inquisitor/Jedi interaction during the dreams.
(really liked the use telepathic dialog. Must have been interesting to film that. Imagining all the dialog.)
The opening space port was a really nice concept and generally well executed.
The climatic battle had some really cool moments. The "spur" weapons were a nice touch, though after a while, they just seemed to be hovering around waiting to be hit.
In general, this was a lot of fun to watch and I think introduced a number of new elements and styles to the TFN library. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Have fun!

RE: RECIPROCITY
"7. In some way Nomi and Soontar had to be together in the end, i felt that was left un-finished."
Well, her being dead really negates them forming *to* close of a relationship. However, there was a scene that was cut at the end of the film (seen some in the credits) where it is made apparent she'll be a companion of his for some time. Some of that dialogue is actually in the blooper reel, which is coming soon.
"11. It wasn't particularly clear that they were Soontar and the other guy were sith"
As Allen said, they were Inquisitors. The dialogue for Soontar explains this pretty well, talking about why he is on the missions. They are always addressed as Inquisitors as well. In fact, during the dream, Soontar says flat out "I am no Sith." Maybe that is another audio problem I need to look at. The major challenge with making the Inquisitors was to have them fit the role of hunters, but also not act like Sith. I focused on doing this through costume, attitude, and dialogue. ;-)
"The fact that the militia, which was too afraid to even face the Jedi, would try to stand up to the two guys that quickly defeated those Jedi."
LOL... well... that part was rather made up on the fly. One way to look at it is this: The galaxy knows the Inquisitors exist, and the Jedi are being hunted. The Inquisitors, being part of the republic, are not seen as rogue or evil characters. So, essentially, it could be assumed by most that they would follow local planet customs and rules on planets willing to aid them. If a planet doesn't aid them, then they become more shady and sneak in anyway for the Jedi(and kill any witnesses that might link them to the Republic.) Riley assumed that they would wait until he could report his grievance to the Republic authorities. He was wrong... but then again, he was also a putz.
BTW: Try turning your bass down for better audio. My system has almost none, which may be part of the problem. Honestly, I can hear just about everything on mine fine. I'm considering remastering the audio, although the best I can do it effect the music score over the rest. Please e-mail me at sourceeq@aol.com (subject: Reciprocity Sound) with areas that are the hardest for you to hear.

RE: RECIPROCITY
where's dan005e when the film is released?
I thought that it was excellent. The whole plot was well devised and backed up with great CG work.
It kinda seemed like "Inquisitor #2" didn't have much of a personality in the film (no offense Allen!). He seemed to go along with whatever Soontar, or Rann said. But I guess that was the way it was meant to be!
Overall, great job. And...it looks like we never saw that 2nd trailer "3 days before the release" did we Scott?

RE: RECIPROCITY
That's ok, One. I originally had a very small part as that charecter. The idea I was trying to get across was that he was mostly one dimensional. He was out to do his job and get paid for it. Other than that, he took very little seriously, except during a fight. Most of Inq #2's fighting was cut out with scene one. I think my best acting was actually done as another charecter. So, I guess not having much of a personallity was a "good" thing. I was hoping people would find my charecter annoying and shallow, but I'm not "there" yet in my acting skills.

"where's dan005e when the film is released?"
The second part of the thread,
One with the force
.
Dont worry I am willing to bet I was the first person to download this movie the night it was released. I watched it a few times with this massive grin on my face then booted up my copy of After Effects and had some
fun
Problem was I made myself massivley tired so i wasnt able to post until the afternoon of the next day.
Sorry I wasnt the first person to comment Scott
Scott one little nitpick. The lighting for the scene directly after Soontars dream, in the ship, isnt lit to well. No offense but at one point I couldnt see much other then the lights blinking off the panels and a very slight hue of skin color at the worst.

I was sincerely touched by the artistically portrayed love theme in this film. The fight choreography was very good, and I enjoyed the FX shots. I would have to agree with most that the camouflage doesn’t work but overall this is my second favorite fan film behind
a Question of Faith
! I love to see the good old “among friends” type films be more popular than the high profile films. And yes
Reciprocity
has the most rotoscoping for a fan film, until the first of December.

I prefer Kontiki (from kontiki.com - surprise, surprise!). I've managed to pull about 30kb/sec. using it.
And some versions of Download Accelerator contain spyware -- use Ad-Aware to remove 'em.
