	Just finished it- some slight spoilers here: A pretty good issue, though I think I preferred the first issue more. Still, some good glimpses at the early days of the Rebellion. And it's neat to see an Imperial Acclamator ship...even if it seems a slight stretch that a freighter could take such a craft down in one pass. Also it's a pitty Roon's death seemed somewhat unnecessary, but at least they address that in the issue. Still, this has been one of my favorite Empire arcs thus far, and I'm looking forward to the next Darklighter chapter ::) -----signature----- "When your future self tells you to do something, YOU DO IT." 	well i picked it up yesterday and enjoyed it in the parking lot of jack in the box. basic story (short version, going from memory): General Dodonna continues his eulogy for General Sewell. starts with how Sewell and crew save Dodonna from the imperials after he decides to no longer work for them. in the ensuing space battle, dodonna gives sewell an order on how to evade their pursuer.. and after a moment sewell carries it out, and they destroy the imperial ship and escape to yavin, where sewell praises dodonna for helping them be saved after saving him. dodonna is convinced to join the rebellion, when sewell introduces him to mon mothma. dodonna is given the rank of general but reports to sewell. they have disagreements on how to conduct the rebellion.. sewell prefers to raid the empire while dodonna prefers guerilla tactics, cutting their supply lines and getting material from their allies rather than stealing it from the empire. finally, sewell leads a raid that helps them secure a bunch of loot including hyperdrives. sewell and dodonna don't get along, but respect each other, and keep their arguments private. one side note was the battle of the bunkroom, where sewell once went aggro and started shooting at a rat inside the rebel base, causing a general alert (flashback to his childhood adventure of being left for dead to the rats). dodonna even remarks how sewell's leadership even inspired him, an old man, to participate in gunbattles (and wonder whose name Sewell yelled as he charged into battle). Sewell is an inspiring leader, reminding the rebels that they fight for a cause they believe in, and that the imperials fight out of fear. Finally, they plan a raiding mission and pull it off, but get chased into an asteroid field and dodonna has the freighter hide. he wants to wait it out until the TIEs leave, but Sewell can't wait, and plans to divert them with Y-wings. Dodonna and Sewell argue in private, but eventually Sewell has his way, and takes off in his Y-wing with two remote-controlled Y-wings following him in formation. The TIEs chase him in the asteroids, eventually taking down the two Y-wing drones, and some TIEs get destroyed by asteroids (one described as being colder that a hoth glacier i think). Sewell, not an expert pilot, shows amazing skills in this chase, but eventually his craft succumbs to enemy fire and his body isn't recovered as he bought time for the rebel freighter to escape. Finally, Dodonna reads a note that Sewell penned before this mission... some of his favorite lines as an actor, and his own note of how the hand of tyranny can squeeze the common people if they are like sand, and slip through, but if they heat and form into glass, can cut through the hand of tyranny. Inspiring to the last... Dodonna calls for a moment of silence at the memorial then mobilizes everyone to arm the rebellion. still not sure what the cover tagline "Death before Dishonor" means.. although the cover art matches the text much better than part one's. -----signature----- Prophet of the Church of Waru. 	Quite excellent work. Seriously. Now why on earth isn't DHC getting this stuff out on time?! This is easily amongst their best work in ages! There is a consistently high standard in the comics, with both experienced and newer artists providing good art across the board (with the exception of Davide Fabri, whose style has never appealed to me,) the only fly in the ointment is the shipping!
