On the Varn battle station:
The moon is a gray, cratered, and airless body, much like Earth's moon. Shuttles land directly on the moon's surface, not in a bay. This suggests that the weapon has recently been built and that the emphasis has been on getting the weapon done, not providing facilities like those present on the original Death Star. The fact that the moon is airless makes it hard to believe that the Imperials just "forgot" to put in a docking bay. Techs and crew members must have had to use vac-suits to get to the station's airlock (Luke must have used his flight suit.) The superlaser dish itself is very similar to the Death Star's. The main difference is that the Varn weapon has a pole in the middle of the dish. Perhaps this holds extra galven circuitry to focus the beam. Eight lights are equidistant around the outside of the dish, suggesting eight secondary beams come together to form the main beam, with one larger beam from the middle of the dish. The scale of the dish is unknown; its the same size as the Lambda- class shuttles, but the game's scale is not realistic- Luke is the same size as the shuttle's cockpit. Luke confirms that it is a superlaser, saying that it "looks like Death Star technology ... only now they've set up operation on this tiny moon." Luke enters the battle station throught an airlock below the superlaser. It is interesting to note that the airlock is opened with a Imperial ID taken from the body of a scout trooper guarding the landing pad base on the surface of Varn. This suggests that the trooper could transfer locations between the moon and planet. Maybe this was a ranking officer, whose rank allowed him to enter the battle station. Inside the station the first line of defense is a trench which can only be crossed at one point by an extendable bridge. After defeating the stormtroopers guarding the inside of the base, Luke uses the Force to make a Imperial in a green uniform (who Luke calls a private) open the blast doors to the superlaser chamber. The superlaser column looks like a blue pulsating tube surrounded by a metal cylinder, which has holes cut out at close distances from each other. This could be a station designed to monitor the superlaser. There is a trench in a square around the column, probably to disuade any from trying to destroy it by hand. The officer (the private) says that the room is a "hazardous materials zone." The main reactor is not seen. For taking up such a large space in the Death Stars, it must be in the core of the moon. But think of all the rock that had to be removed to make a reactor chamber. Of course, the station needs much less power than the Death Stars, since it seems to have not as much area, and fewer defenses. After some exploration, Luke finds a room which he says it the self-destruct area. It is here that he plants an explosive sequencer charge. Luke comments that the station is "primed and ready", whether to fire or explode is unknown. He later plants a second charge in another room. After both charges are planted, Luke escapes the station. After coming back to look at the damage to the dish, Luke states that "No one's going to be using this battle station for a while..." I would say that the station was a superlaser test facility, much like the Tarkin. The visual absence of docking bays and defenses lends itself to the idea of a small superlaser station used for research.
Also, a ground-based mobile weapon from Galactic Battlegrounds seems to use superlaser technology. Called the "Shock Cannon," it is an Imperial seige weapon used to destroy buildings and fortifications. It uses four secondary beams, fewer than the Death Stars. In its mobile form, it appears as a box on tracks, like a sandcrawler. When preparing to fire, it must unfold its dish to a position on top of the box. The only problem is that when the secondary beams join to make one beam, the main beam fires in a ballistic arc. This seems very unlike the physics of a laser. So, it is unknown whether this is a true superlaser-type weapon, or just something that looks like one.

Rogue Follower--wow! That's a great summery of the level! I don't have the game, and was relying on a walk-though I found on-line, but this is much more useful.
I've seen the shock cannon... In all likelihood, it's a culminating laser beam amplification-type weapon, as seen in AOTC. This is sort of a predecessor technology to the Death Star (on a smaller scale.) IIRC (could someone back me up on this?) the Death Star cheat in GBG has a ballistic missile look to it as well, so I think that's just game mechanics.

Sorry, I can't really find out anything on Trigon I. I did learn that on Yahoo you need to specify Star Wars Trigon I and that if you specify Star Wars Trigon I pics, one of the links brought up actually reads that it is a porn site.

Evidently blaster-smuggling and weapon-building weren't the only rackets the Fromm gang had going...
Can we get a detailed summery of "What Sin Loyalty" posted here? It has quite a bit to do with the first Death Star.

Best I can describe the Trigon 1 from what I can remember is a something like this;
Except that it doesn't have ridges, and there is a large cannon coming out the round side, that can swivel...

>>For example: who were the Force-sensitive agents who infiltrated the Death Star II at Drinba? How did the Empire keep Drinba's destruction a secret? Stuff like that. It won't be included in the final document, of course, but I was wondering if it would be of interest to anyone here.

The Varn battlestation seems to have even worse security than norm for Imperial research facilities (I wonder if they actually wanted Luke to destroy it.)

Here's the entry for the Death Star III (I'm reformatting the History, to make it easier to use and read, and to get rid of a lot of the fluff.) Since we know next to nothing about this one, I wrote the entry with sort of an "unsolved mystery" style, embracing the lack of information rather than trying to work around it. Let the analysis begin!
Death Star III
“The destruction of our latest Death Star was but a temporary setback. The Rebels have yet to see the full fury of our power and might. We are developing even more advanced weapons, and when we are done, we shall rule the entire galaxy and crush the Rebel Alliance!”
--Grand Moff Bertroff Hissa at the Imperial Convocation on Kessel, 5 A.B.Y.
In spite of Hissa’s grandiose claims, his Empire never really rebounded from the destruction of their latest Death Star. But to which Death Star is Hissa referring—second or... Third? A reliable source states that “The remnants of the Empire have not made an attempt to realize Tarkin’s dreams a third time” , yet eyewitness accounts from the passengers of Star Tours Flight 45 tell a different story.
Star Tours had been plagued by malfunctions and bugs of every sort from the get-go, with Star Speeders constantly breaking down and droids exhibiting bizarre behavior. In spite of haphazard repairs and improper maintenance, Star Tours promised non-stop daily flights to Endor, and it was only a matter of time before something major went wrong. Flight 45, launched only months after the Battle of Endor, was to be the official maiden voyage of the new Star Speeder 3000, with Rebel hero Artoo Deetoo serving as navigator. For whatever reason—programming glitch, equipment failure, or perhaps the adventurous spirit of a certain astromech—Flight 45 missed the Endor system entirely, coming out of hyperspace in Imperial territory. Flight 45 found itself in the middle of a restricted combat zone, caught in the middle of a battle between Republic forces, an Imperial Star Destroyer—and a new Death Star.
The third Death Star is something of an enigma. Even those in the know believe the “third Death Star” to be the prototype from Maw Installation, and references in the official reports to a third station are rare—some claim it never existed at all. Nevertheless, it is an undeniable fact that a third Death Star was constructed and put into action only a year after the second was destroyed over the Endor moon. Some suggest that Grand Moff Ardus Kaine, Tarkin’s replacement, might have had the resources to build another Death Star, pointing out that the shipyards of Geonosis fell under his jurisdiction. Still others fall back on the old habitation sphere theory that is so often mentioned in connection with the Death Star II. This station appears to have been identical to the first, approximately 120 kilometers in diameter, with the same fatal exhaust port. As one might well imagine, this new Death Star was destroyed in the same manner as the first, this time by an unidentified X-wing pilot. Surely such a capable individual deserves as much recognition as Luke Skywalker, but no pilot has stepped forward to claim the kill. In fact, most of the New Republic appears to have been unaware of the danger represented by the Death Star III. Star Tours filed for bankruptcy shortly afterwards, the military has yet to comment on the incident officially, and it seems that the passengers of Flight 54 are the only witnesses willing to speak out about this strange encounter.

I like the synopse I helped write better, especially since Dan Wallace gave his good word on it (he was one of the ones that actually influenced the idea that the whole event is supposed to be so classified, that not even the witnesses are allowed to speak out about it),
..
Also it should be noted that Star Tours company actually went bankrupt after only a few months after Endor because of their "accidents", according to Gamer #9.
