Their TPB are expensive, by Aust standards. Though TFAW will have some half price, I'm sure.

The corny Doctor Who special effects are endearing, but flat art of that magnitude, I just can't digitalise it.

Yes, there are TPBs (seven of them, I think), put out by Dark Horse under the name "A Long Time Ago . . ."

Yes. 7 trade paperback collections. 30 or so dollars each in the U.S. if I remember right.

Sometimes Mile High Comics has a really good sale on TPBs (30-40% off), and they will ship internationally.

The Marvel series rocked!!!!!

The TPBs reprint all 107 issues + 3 Annuals. They do not include the Return of the Jedi adaptation or the material which appeared in the Marvel UK series but not the US series (i.e. the strips originally printed in Marvel's entertainment mag Pizzazz, a pre-TESB run including Wookiee World and others, and the UK-originated stories by the likes of Alans Moore and Davis).

The Marvel stories were a bit wacky at times, but to those of us who grew up during the time of the OT, they were an essential part of the Star Wars experience.

I think the Dark Horse collections screwed up the coloration.

Where do the comics stand canon-wise? Are they all part of the canon?

Hit up TFAW like Excellence said, the nick and dent are by all means fine with maybe one little flaw.

Was there ever a believable fix for Jabba that wasn't really Jabba?

There's suprisingly very few continuity errors throughout the Marval series, almost none.
