	Most of us know the beautiful ship Lando Calrissian owns. Lady Luck was featured in novels, comics, even PC games (Jedi Outcast) and RPG material. Like the famous Millennium Falcon discussion from way back about how is its interiour really looking, considering contradicting official cutsections and maps (but that topic has already been resolved and shall not be discussed in here!), the Lady Luck, though less prominent, suffers from the same problem. (Also similar troubles with the Tantive IV in Empire Comics, OT and ROTS shall not be discussed here though the trouble is the same) The WEG deckplan differs from the ships assumed deckplan and interiour look in the comics (f.e. position of the landing ramp). The Computer game map, when walking around within the ship resembles the WEG deckplan, though differs from that one slightly, too! So the question again is.. how? why? soltuions and retcons ahead: 1) WEG deckplan might be the standart ship design. the others aka game and comic are modified ships. possible and likely, but nevertheless the ramp location doesn´t fit. So did lando change that when modifying his ship, too in between comic and game timeframe? there are several years in between. possible but why reposition the ramp without a major reason? it is a huge effort to do so. this leads me to idea #2. 2) These aren´t the same Lady Luck's but 2 different ships of the same type. After somehow accidently his ship was lost/destroyed, or damaged to a degree that major rebuilding would result in major changes, he´d either bought a new ship of the same type "Lady Luck II". Or he let it be rebuild from the damaged ship and changed some details then. that way it was still lady luck I. 	There is also another design for the same type of ship in Galaxies: Jump To Lightspeed, which seems larger on the inside. Don't have the game, so I can't check the details on ramp, etc. though.

	Not Lando. Its just a yacht that the player character can buy and fly. TOS had a special on it, with some inside screeshots. Looks a lot larger than the Lady Luck.

	If Lady Luck (Sorosuub PLY 3000 yacht) is about 50 meters long, then that screenshot is plausable. 	You could leap atop it even, except on hardest level, when you're fighting to save Calrissian like mad. 	The Galaxies version is very definately one varaiant of the same PLY3000 design... And I think this here (at the Unofficial Encyclopedia) is the original DFRSB illustration... looks like that huge open-plan observation deck really is part of the furniture - the text of the entry suggests that the 'windows' might actually be magnetically sealed rather than plated over... structurally, all I can guess is that either she has a very strong structural frame around her hollow heart, or else the 'top hamper' isn't actually structurally significant at all... - The Imperial Ewok -----signature----- A/T = OTP :===8[#]8===: Kyp/Jaina fans: stand up and be counted!

	thx, interesting. if the galaxies is the same ship version as Landos from Jedi Outcast, then fo sure Lando had changed the interior and added more separate rooms instead of open space like this one has. but it still looks larger, though it might fit the size measurements given in the guides. -----signature----- www.njoe.com (Govsec Author) "Less is more!"
