AOTC Defense Force

I set up this Defense Force at the beginning of March in the RPG forum. Now, as the Defense Forces are moved to their new (and hopefully permanent) homes, I am creating the new home for the AOTC DF here. I know it's still a bit early, but I figure if people can be waiting in line for the film and other people here are already boycotting it, then a Defense Force should be set up.
So let's go to it! For people who are not yet familiar with us, similar to the TPM Defense Force, ranks and squadrons will be assigned to anyone who joins. The ranks will begin based upon number of posts in the JC.

Strilo edit: I think the time has now come to retire the Defense Forces. They have both been completely dead for a year or more. I personally feel that they are no longer needed. Running them has become a chore and thus I think without the need and without the culture they once had, it's time to let them go.

This thread was created because I have already noticed enough negativity about the film from people who have not seen it yet that I foresaw a need for the film to be defended. I knew the final trailer was coming out and that would stir up some grousing and bashing.
As for Attack of the Clones itself, I have not decided one way or another about the film. Only the film can make that choice for me. However, most everything I have seen and heard about the film I have liked or loved. Do I have my doubts? Here and there... about the little things. But overall I loved TPM and word is has gone from a trickle to a small roar that AOTC is going to be awesome, so I am sure I will enjoy it enough to defend it against those who are sure to bash it.

what if you see the trailersor movie and find that although most of it was awsome there were parts that could be improved.
Like if I said the effects were great, yoda was awsome, but Hayden's acting stinks.
could I still join and defend the good points , with out claiming perfection????

I think if you like what you have seen enough to stand up and defend the film against people who seem to be bashing it based on what they know, then you are free to join.
Once the film comes out and we all see it, then it will be a lot easier to decide how we feel. Until then we can only go on what has been officially released. Do you have to think the film is perfect? No. I am a member of the TPM Defense Force yet there are things about it that I do not like. But overall I think it is a great film and worth defending.
So if you feel like AOTC is worth defending based on what you know so far then join up!
And a big thanks to Farraday for reminding us all to keep this thread SPOILER FREE. I will not hesitate to PM any mod I know or can find if I discover spoilers of any kind in here.
