I agree with ya'll that most chain places can't hold a candle to local pizza joints. (We had a thread on this awhile back...)
But this one all about chain pizza joint desserts.

Well of course they're good. Would you expect anything else from that liquid-fat?
I especially like the dots

The Dominos one town over does not deliver to my house. I've had their pizza once, loved it.
As for the cinna-stix I'm afraid that their taste will never touch my tongue.

Yep..... the "dots" are just the sticks in ball form....... quite tasty.... But, for some reason, I just don't like sweet stuff with pizza.
I guess I'm just wierd.....
I'm sure nobody remembers this, but Dominos had this crazy idea for a breakfast pizza many many years ago..... It was sorta like an omelet pizza... You could get it with ham or bacon on it etc..... they were pretty good, and they would deliver a morning newspaper and coffee with it......
Those cinna sticks / dots woulda gone freakin' great with those!!!!
I was just a kid when they did this..... it was in the mid-80's

I used to work for Pappa Johns and my best friend works for Dominos. Some of my other friends still work for Pappa Johns.
The Domino's Dots are "heavier" and contain more dough per "dot" then the Cinna Stix. The cinnamon stuff used on Dots is different from the cinnamon stuff used on the Cinna Stix too.
A few years ago Dominos had "twisty" bread then used these horrid pre-made breadstick blocks before finally evolving into what they have today. Now Dominoes uses half of a medium dough, cuts it into like 8 or so slices, and then either put the breadstick seasoning, cheese, or cinnamon stuff on top.
Dominos is the first one that came out with the cinnamon sticks and the other places followed.
Now Pappa Johns is somewhat based upon the Dominos model. The Pappa Johns store interior even nearly looks the same as Dominos, except they use differ colors of course.
Pappa Johns uses LESS ingredients than Domino's and places the cheese ON TOP of the ingredients. This causes the toppings to slide off the crust a lot of times. Also Pappa Johns pizza is more expensive than Dominos. With all that said, Pappa Johns pizzas have a unique taste that many people prefer.
Many people who work for Pappa Johns used to work for Dominos and vice versa.
Due to my best friends family having "problems" he stays with us for extended times and I get to free grub. I may even go to work there next summer. If you go to work for a "chain" pizza place, I suggest work at one in a middle class to upper class neighborhood.
My favorite new Dominos product are their chicken nuggets called "kickers". Those things are to die for.

I love the Dots! Here on campus we get to use our "Advantage Cash" when ordering from Dominos! I never spend money on pizza anymore, because Advantage Cash isn't
real
money.
My friend Shawn also decided the "Dots" would be better named "Sugar Balls". I tried to tell him if we were going to give the Dots a dirty name it ought to be "Cinammon Balls", but his nickname caught on quicker than mine.
Oh well.
