	My deepest apologies that there was no interview last week; I got my hands tied up in things. And heeeere's the Fifth Issue... This week, the YJCC's most unfortunate man was Darth_Deception, a highly active super newbie around these forums. Yeah sure you can use the cliche description for a newbie... "annoying", "naive", etc.... but Deception is a pretty cool guy. The questions are about himself, the JC, and real life. My dialogue is italicized; Darth_Deception's is not. Okay, so... you're a new guy around these parts. What percentage of people in the JC do you think know you (just on the forums, not in RL, of course)? Jeez... There are so many people registered on here... I know maybe... 50+ people on the JC. But I'd say I have 20 good friends. Shout out to: AntiSolution82 [My first friend on here] FORCE-WIELDER1 [One of the first] Magik [One of the coolest guys on here and my good friend] Darth_Elu [An awsome Role Player and helps me out alot] Imperial_Hammer [Another stupendous RPer who is a good frined] There are many others but those are the ones that come to mind. You're probably the millionth person here that has tried registering with a Darth username (not suggesting that you aren't creative or anything) and so, obviously, you tried to go Darth_[something else other than Deception] Can you remember any of the words or names you tried to use but couldn't register with because they were already taken? Or is Deception your first and lucky try? I can't quite remember, but I'm pretty sure that was my first choice. I think my name is original. Who cares if it has Darth in front? If it didn't, I wouldn't be DD! How stupid does Master_Deception sound? Or Deception101? I think it's pretty dumb how some people on here bash the Darths. You gotta know they're just jealous. Where do you live? If in the USA, what state? I live in the greater DC/Metropolitan area. Ok, ok. Northern Virginia, but DC is where I was born. I also frequent it a decent amount. What attracts you most about the JC? Hmmm... That's tough. I suppose I came for Star Wars spoilers but stayed for the random stuff like the YJCC and the WNU. So I suppose I like the socialization, if you can call it that. What's your favorite forum on the JC? Another tough one. If you had asked my in November, I would've told you 3SA withought a doubt. But I rarely visit anymore. I'd have to say the YJCC, the WNU, the EUC [Solely for the Blue Moon Cantina, though it's become a debate thread as of late], and the RPG forum. Are you in any YJCC social cliques or organizations? If so, what one(s)? Yup. I am one third of the Crimson Jedi Triumverate. We are a young organization, although, some noteable posters such as DarthBoba are on the roster. [FORCE-WIELDER1 started it up] I also recently joined the Lightside. I attempted to join the Darkside, but... it didn't work out. I joined mainly to get ideas for the CJ. I believe participating in an established group like the Lightside will make me a better leader. How did you find the JC? I did a search on google for General Grievous concept art. I was part of the Teaser boom that occured. I saw the teaser and HAD to see more. Good 'ol Google hooked me up, and I'm a SW geek again. I seriously hadn't even thought about SW since I was a little kid, other than seeing the movies of course. I actually saw TPM at Uptown theater. I was in the front row. So what are your political views? Four More Years of a ******* awsome time! Ha! But seriously, I'm a conservative. Bush > Kerry etc. Although, I am very conscious of what's goin on. There are some things I don't like about Bush. And I definitely DON'T want the terminator as our president. Not because of him, but because that would open the door to others... Is the Iraq war justified? Why or why not? Hmmm... Yes and no. The CIA gave Bush bad intelligence, so I don't appreciate the Bush bashing. realizes that is a tangent No WMDs were found. That is the whole reason we went to war. However, Saddam was a future threat and a moddern tyranical dictator. He is the Lennin of today. He massacered his people. He HAD biological weapons that he used on them. I don't know, man... All I can say is that we're there now. No point talking about whether it's justified or not. We can't just leave. The gov't would collapse and the country would be taken over by other tyrants. So, support our troops, support their leader, and talk about what WILL happen. I still argue about it, of course. This is just in a perfect world. So... the boards are moving as you've doubtless heard (or have you?)... one of the major possibilities if not the only one is vBulletin... but onto the question... will this affect your JC experience? Do you think it will lessen your excitement about the JC? Just... what do you think of this whole ordeal? Funny you asked that. I JUST heard it. I have no clue what's goin on. However, I DO know this: If the JC keeps the same BASIC feel and look, I'll be happy. Ultimately, I want what I've done to carry over. Then again, I wouldn't mind a clean slate if EVRYONE were given the same. How old are you? I don't give out specifics. I'm in high school. What's your favorite Star Wars character? Hard questions! Boba Fett hands down. Maul, Mace, Vader, and Solo. Basically, if they're a bad ass, I like 'em. What's your favorite non-SW movie? Man! Saving Private Ryan. I cried. I don't normally cry during movies. Remember the Titans. Rudy. Batman [the first one. Michael Keaton was the ONLY Batman in my book]. shew... I, Robot. And Many more... Cats or dogs? Dogs. Cats are wierd. I think all of them have some kind of hidden agenda, except for the dumb ones. I seriously think they're evil and they take more work! Dogs are man's best friend. period. Are you straight as an arrow? I am straighter than the Mason-Dixon line! Wait... Nevermind... Ya, I'm straight. If straight, what hotties are your favorites? If not, what (male) hotties are your favorites? You mean NAMES?! uh... looks for the hottie wars list sos he can remember the names One sec... Ok here we go... Shannon Elizabeth, Ali Landry, Brooke Burk, Elizabeth Hurley, Kristy Swanson And Natalie Portman SHOULD NOT be an ultimate Hottie. She's hot, but not THAT hot. These boards are biased. What's your family like? Siblings? Parents? I have... My family is complicated. I'll lay it out once so I never have to say this again. My mother married a man and they had a son. She divorced him a few years later and married another man. She divorced him a few years later and married my father and had me. [seven years from my brother's birth] She divorced him and married another man, my step-father. They had a daughter a year or so later. [seven years from my birth] My father married a woman and they had a daughter. A few years later, he divorced her and married my mother. They had me. A few years later, they were divorced. Oh... ten or so years later, he married another woman, who has two daughters. They are happily married. [the two daughters are also half-sisters. My "step-mom" married twice before] My step-dad married a woman and had a son. They were divorced some twenty years later. He married my mom after... ten[?] + years. They had my sister. I live with my mom, step-dad, older brother [graduated from Virginia Tech], younger sister, and Grandmother [owns the house we live in]. My older sister is going to Colorodo U and lived with her mother previously. My step-brother lives... Not with us... somewhere in the area. My step-sister lives with my dad and step-mom. The other step-sister is going to VCU. I see my dad every sunday from around 12-6. Best movie besides any SW movie ever? (as different than "favorite" movie besides SW) Remember the Titans. Saving Private Ryan. Rudy. I, Robot. James Bond [The Connery movies only] Austin Powers [all of em] Scary Movie uh... Too many to count Concerning the Awesome Council... what's your take on it? Satire or disguised superiority complexes? I don't know much about it, but it seems pretty stupid to me... It kind of seems like a rip of the 3SA Knights... which isn't all that great either. [or vice-versa.. either way] They apparently just talk about how they're better than the rest of us? Wow. Sounds like fun. Definitely the latter. How about the President's recent Second Inauguration Speech... what did you think of it? I kind of half-heard it as I was doin other stuff... I like Bush so this will be tainted... It was his best speech yet. He was right on all counts. Freedom needs to be spread to the world and we need to protect ours here. It does kind of scare me, however, at the thought that he might have been eluding to more invasions of middle-eastern countries. That wouldn't be good, though I support the war. Final Verdict: Great speech. What JC members do you aspire to be like when you become a midbie? When I become a midbie]? I feel like I'm there already. I got 3000 posts. I'm doin a butt-load of stuff on here. Anyway... Famous is cool. Snowball is fairly funny... I dunno... There's not really anybody here that I want to be. I would like to be thought of as funny and cool tho. tongue [I doubt it will happen] Would you ever consider modship? Depends. I'd love to do it, but I would need to consider the time requirements. I DO have a life, surprisingly enough. Do I WANT to do it? Heck yeah. I doubt there is a user out there who doesn't want to be one. But am I going to try to do everything perfect so I might be considered or whatever? Heck no. Are you a spoilers guy? If so, what's your favorite thing or part about Episode III so far? Black-highlight the spoilers. Like I said [I think], when I joined I was all about 3SA. Nuff said. j/k! ROTS is gonna be my favorite out of all six when it comes out. [edited] I'm kinda dissapointed that I spoiled myself now cause I know I'll see what's commin... But then I was thinkin, the actors know exactly what's gonna happen, and enjoy the movie alot anyway... so it would've been just as good either way. [edited] Pizza or Burritos? Dude... We have this place up/down here called Anitas. Aw.... bean burritos..... breakfast burritos.... But then PIZZA! soooooooo good.... aw.... cheese.... sometimes toppings that have to do with meat.... sometimes peppers..... FINAL VERDICT: Steak. Apple or Microsoft? Apple sure as hell looks cooler... but I use a PC so... Microsoft. Do you have one of those new iPods? Nope. I'm broke, man. I have a busted CD-player held together by duct-tape. CDs all the way. [though I'd love to have em] I'll get one when the next big thing comes out. Then they'll be cheap. What's your favorite ancient empire? Man.... Rome.... Such great minds came together back then... Great men who accomplished much.... Hell, we wouldn't be America if they hadn't layed out the first republic in history! What's your view on Paris Hilton? Nice legs... nice face... [her nose looks wierd...] nice body.... But she needs b-... never mind. happy tongue What's your view on "reality t.v."? Stupid. We sit around, glued to the t.v., enjoying people being exploited, made fun of, lied to, and whatever else. TV has come to an all-time low. Extreme Makeover the Home edition is good tho, cause they actually help people. It really doesn't matter tho, because I'm a cosby show-man. When I become a parent, I willbuy the DVD set and stor them in my library [cause I'll have a huge personal library]. When I have a problem, I will consult Bill Cosby via his tv show. Nick at night [mostly the cosby show and the fresh prince] and Adult swim [minus the anime] are my bags of fun. Do you have a guilty secret? What is it? Woah... good lord... Ok ok, I'm actually pretty cool in real life. tongue [it's true] Uh... I... OK! I've watched soccor on tv before! I KNOW, I KNOW! I shouldn't have done it! But I... I got into it, man.... I have betrayed the football gods... sad Whose your favorite mod? FamousAmos. He's a football guy too. What appeals to you most about the JC? Stupid crap like this! And spoilers! And that's it! Thank goodness.... I mean- ! uh...! Next Week's Interview: For next week, we have our first double feature! It will consist of a double whammy serving of Darth_Snowball and Albert_Normandy. Hope the interview was satisfying, people.
