	Here's one of those fics with ESG in it that I was talking about! Ejoy!!! My Third Father, My Second Son (A letter from Obi-Wan to Aragorn and Aragorn’s reply) By Lady-Kenobi Summary: Obi-Wan writes Aragorn shortly after The Battle of Naboo and Aragorn replies with advice (of all kinds) for the young Jedi Master. Disclaimer: Lucas owns Obi-Wan and SW and Tolkien owns Aragorn and LOTR. I gave Obi-Wan a broadsword named Nessame’. Obi-Wan’s Letter My Third Father I have not written to you in what seems like years. I hope that Arwen, Eldarion, and Jonamina are well. My cousin Lord Jonathan Jinn, also known by his honorary title Qui-Gon is dead, killed by a Sith Lord. So now I am left with only two fathers in this galaxy: Wilhelm, King of Kertios who gave life to me and Elessar, King of Gondor who made me feel like he gave life to me. I should have been faster if I was there would be no tears on this letter and I would still have two Honorary Fathers. I feel so alone, Father. Jon found “The Chosen One- Bringer of Balance to The Force” in the form of a young slave boy named Anakin Skywalker. Due to my Kinsman’s death I made a promise to train the boy to be a Jedi and it’s not been easy. He is a bit of a handful at times, he’s quick to temper and sometimes doesn’t think before he acts. Soon I will ask the Jedi Council to let us go to Tatooine to visit his Mother, maybe that will be a big help to him and to me. At night I tell him stories of an evil invading force, an elf archer, a dwarf, a quartet of hobbits (one has to destroy the ring of the invasion leader, so peace can be restored to the planet.), kings, stewards, ladies fair, and a good kind wizard who sent for two Jedi to protect a warrior who was to be king. He probably thinks the stories are made up, but I know the truth. The truth that the Fellowship always was brave in the face of danger and that the Warrior King made the younger Jedi his Honorary Son. Something good did come out of The Battle of Naboo. I am in love with Queen Amidala and she loves me. I found my soul mate, dear Father just like my First Father has with my First Mother, just like my Second Father had with my Second Mother (her name was Tahl) and just like you have with your beloved wife, my Third Mother. When she was in danger she disguised herself as one of her Handmaidens, in fact as her Chief Handmaiden, and went by her true name Padme’ Naberrie. I can see her and I growing old together (You must be now ninety-one now and Mother is three-thousand-ninety-one now or maybe even younger, true?) She loves me for who I am not what I am and I that suits me fine. I have yet to tell her that I’m a Prince, I am afraid that she’ll react badly to this and not want to be with me. I know that when I fell in love with “Chief Handmaiden Padme’” and found out that she was really Queen Amidala, I still loved her no matter what. I write you for you wisdom as you said when we first met and were in danger, “When have I been wrong?” Please write soon Dear Father Your Second Son Benjamin Aragorn’s Letter to Obi-Wan My Second Son I am truly sorry to hear of Jon’s death. You are now endowed with a great task, my Son. Going from student to teacher. Use everything that he taught you wisely don’t be quick to temper, because I know that for a Jedi anger leads to the Dark Side. You are a powerful Jedi and I am proud to call you my Second Son. Jon told me you were “The Chosen One- Champion of the Jedi- Slayer of the Sith”. Do not blame yourself for his death, everything in this galaxy happens for a purpose, My Son. Instead celebrate his life by teaching and loving the boy as well as Jon did you. Your Third Mother, Brother, and Sister are well, but don’t ask your Mother’s age ever again. I asked her and she yelled and swore in Elvish that no woman tells her age (I also got a vase thrown at me, fortunately for you it missed.). Speaking of age. You must be almost twenty-six now, true? I was a bit younger than that when I met your Mother. She knew who I was because her father was allies of my family and protected my mother and me after my father died. If Padme' truly loves you as you say she does, she will love you whether you are a Jedi or a Prince. I’m sure she will understand when you tell her. Soul mates understand everything. I hope you and Anakin will come to Gondor soon, of course after trips to Tatooine and Kertios. I hope that we will show Anakin broadsword fighting, like we use to do when you and Jon came to visit. Anduril is waiting to be in friendly combat with Nessame’ again. When I see the Fellowship, Eowyn, Faramir, or Eomer I will tell them of the news of a great Warrior’s passing (I don’t care what your Master Yoda has to say about “Wars make not one great.” Jon was a Warrior like the rest of us.). Remember how much I am proud to call you my Second Son and how proud I am that you call me your Third Father. 	Wow.. this was great, Lady-Kenobi! Crossovers tend to be complicated, and they very rarely get pulled off without a hitch, but this one did.
