	Title: Crushin' Characters: Ben Skywalker, Anakin Solo, Luke, Mara, Tahiri Timeframe: Post DN AU Summary: Ben has a crush and he brings it to his cousin Anakin for advice. It soon get's out of control and others weigh in... Thanks to emeraldshadow for noticing a couple of errors. They have now been corrected. “I can’t deny the way I feel, can I?” asked Ben Skywalker pacing the small apartment. “You better start denying, cousin, because this is more trouble than you want in this lifetime,” replied Anakin Solo. “But she is so beautiful. Her flowing blonde hair, her emerald green eyes, her strength of presence mixed with a fragile, vulnerable psyche.” "Watch that “fragile, vulnerable” stuff. If she heard you say it, she’d make you eat your lightsaber.” “I know!” Ben exclaimed, his face brightening at the thought. “Isn’t it marvelous?!” “Stop it, Ben! Listen, you are 14 years old. This is a crush. It won’t last.” “How can you say it won’t last? I’m consumed. I can think of little else.” “Perhaps you should meditate on your Jedi training.” “I tried that, but I kept seeing her as my Master. “Listen, Ben, this is getting out of control. Perhaps you should speak to Jacen about it. You are his padawan after all. I think he could talk some sense into you.” “But, you’re my favorite cousin, Anakin. I want you help me with this,” said Ben pleading for understanding. “I don’t think I can be completely objective here, Ben.” “I don’t need objectivity, Anakin! I need understanding! I need advice!” cried Ben in lovesick anguish. “Well, your father is always a good person to go to for advice. I’ve always respected his opinion.” “Dad has already told me that this is puppy love and inappropriate puppy love at that. What does he know?” “He sounds like a wise man. Perhaps you should listen to him.” Ben started pacing a little faster and brought his hands to his head in a stupefied gesture. “It’s the scars, Anakin. Those scars on her forehead drive me crazy.” “Enough!” shouted Anakin. "Your father and your Master are going to have to deal with this from now on. I can’t listen to this any further. You know how inappropriate these feelings are, yet you persist in feeding them. I gotta wonder why you came to me with this, Ben. 	I liked it! I chuckled at the end of the story! But Ben seems a little dense. Favorite uncle or not, you don't rave about your crush to the girl's husband! Grow some freaking sense, Ben!!!!

	That was very cute. I just have two nitpicks: (1) Tahiri's eyes are green, not blue. (2) Ben wouldn't call Anakin his favorite uncle because Anakin is Ben's cousin, not his uncle. 	I thank you all for the your comments. This was an impulse vig after checking out the Ben Skywalker discussion board. It is kind of a challenge response, but not really because I didn't include elements specific to the challenge. But it was fun anyway. Strange, quirky fun.
