	I don't think there's any need for an introduction, SOOO... ************************************** Ben Skywalker glanced at his father's face. Luke's years had caught up to him... wrinkles, gray hair, the works. But there was still that sparkle in his eyes that shone the true light of a Jedi. "I won't fail you," Ben said, standing tall. "I'm not afraid." Luke smiled softly. "You will be, my son. This is no easy task. Find them." Luke embraced his son, then took a step back and girpped his sister and wife's hands. Ben turned around, gave a brave look of dignity, then stepped into the time portal. _______________________________________________ The alley was dark, cold, wet. But the man crouching in the middle of it didn't seem to notice. Slowly, with practiced ease, he rose to his feet, brushing a layer of fine ash off his perfect body. And it was perfect. Muscular, defined. Biceps the size of the Executor flexed; his arms went down into gracefully thin wrists, then out again into gigantic yet nimble hands. Terminator glanced down and detected a slight error. He was naked. No matter. There were ways of getting clothing. Provided he was where he was supposed to be. Were there dark alleys and cold streets on Vlassy? He scanned his brain... Negative. Lush trees, forests, and wildlife on Vlassy. He scanned his brain once more. This was... He was on Ord Mantell. No matter. He could find transportation here, along with weapons, clothing, and other nessesary equipment for this paticular mission. "Hey, you there!" Terminator glanced up. Four punks stood in the alleyway, 3 male, 1 female. "Yeah, you!" the lead punk continued. Terminator studied him. He was the largest; his clothes would do... "You're on our turf." Terminator strided up to them. "Give me your clothes." "Hey hey," the woman said, smacking her lips. "Is this guy messing with you, Charlie?" The two other men pulled out their daggers. Terminator did not react, even as one stepped foward and drove the knife into his chest... Within seconds, they were all dead except the lead punk and the female, who had fled. The lead punk, shaking, began crawling painfully out of his clothes... -----signature----- This is the first time where I can safely say these boards are going to hell in a hand-basket.

	Ben Skywalker gasped in pain as he hit the ground. Nothing, not even lightsaber burns, had hurt as much as what he had just went through. He lay there like that for a few moments, focusing on the pain and trying to breathe easier. When the pain finally subsided, he rose shakily to his feet and assessed the situation. He could tell by the green scenery and wildlife that he was on target. Why, of all places, did his parents choose the Vlassy nature preserve for their vacation spot? He walked through the dense underbrush until he reached an apparently abandoned X-wing. Inside, he found clothes, rations, camping equipment, and a glowrod. This will be simple. Find. Intercept. Terminate enemy. Simple. If only he knew. **************************************** Sorry it's so short, everyone. Please enjoy and take comfort in the fact that the next post will be much longer. 	Terminator examined the blaster wound on his forearm in hyperspace. It wouldn't be a hinderance to his performance, but it might draw attention to himself. The ship itself had been easy to take. It's pilot, a human male, was easy to kill, but the human's aim was not faltered even as he died. He managed to nail Terminator in the arm as he went down. Terminator took a wet rag and wiped the wound clean, then sewed it up and put on a jacket. If no one took a close look, they wouldn't be able to tell. They wouldn't get near enough to take a close look, anyways. ______________________________________________________ Mara sighed. It was beautiful on this planet. A bit odd, but beautiful nontheless. Birds and small animals were everywhere, and Mara found it relaxing. So much LIFE. 	Terminator guided the ship down to the surface, his massive fingers nimble on the controls. He lowered the boarding ramp and stepped out. It was rich with life on Vlassy, more oxygen was provided, and there was much greenery. Not that Terminator would stop to smell the flowers. He walked up to a caretaker. "Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker." The caretaker glanced at him. "They asked not to be disturbed." "Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker," he repeated flatly. "You can get them on a comm and ask 'em," the caretaker said. "There's one right over there." Terminator didn't give him a second glance as he walked over to the comm. There was a tiny screen next to it, filled with names and the cabins that the people were staying in. Terminator punched in "Mara Jade" and "Luke Skywalker", and got the cabin number. He would terminate the target(s), return home, and report to his master to be reprogrammed anew. 	Mara frowned slightly. Something wasn't right... A knock came at the door. "I'll get it," Luke said. He swung the door open. On the other side, a giant of a man stood, his ice-blue eyes piercing. "Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker?" "Yes," Luke replied, an eyebrow arched. "Can we help you?" Faster than she could respond, the man had a blaster out and aimed at Luke's forehead. Mara gasped. Then something hit the man's arm, and his aim was thrown off. A young man, about 20, came into view, firing relentlessly at the would-be assassin. "Die," he said through clenched teeth. The assassin collapsed, and the young man turned to Mara and Luke. "Come with me if you want to live." Mara glanced down at the man on the ground. Did she just see his finger twitch? No... wait a second. His whole body just shuddered. Then... He sat up. Mara screamed, but the young man grabbed her by the arm and hauled her through the cabin, underneath a table, and out through the back door, Luke following close behind. "Get in the ship!" the man roared. "What ship?" The X-wing. He wanted them all to cramp in the tiny X-wing. "Are you crazy?!" Luke shrieked. "We can't all fit in that thing!!" The man shoved him inside, then cramped Mara in. "Do as I say and you won't die." He jumped in after them, and closed the cockpit. They waited in silence for a moment as the engines warmed... Then there was a loud thump on the hull. Mara repressed a scream. That THING was on the hull of the ship! The young man grabbed the controls, twisting the X-wing side-to-side. The assassin gripped desperately, seeking for purchase, but to no avail. He fell and landed hard on his back. As the X-wing sped away, Mara looked back just in time to see him rise to his feet and dust himself off. She realized with a start that this wasn't the end of the battle.
