okay, okay don't laugh. It's just Xander is my favourite character from Btvs and I'm always looking for ways to cross him over with other shows. Thought I'd give this a try. It'll take a while to get into the nitty-gritty SW stuff.

Prologue: A Mistake Is Realised.
''You know the deal, Anyanka. I've given you, your immortality back. Make the fool pay.'' D'Hoffryn spoke it like a command, which is was. One, which she itched to obey. A void of blackness seemed to surround him, absorbing all light, the only visible thing were two blood red orbs, his eyes.
Mirroring her lord’s evil sneer, Anyanka nodded.
''Yeah, I'm gonna make him sorry he ever crossed me. I'm gonna turn him into a rock, or a toad even. I'm going to make his.....'' her increasingly angry threats were interrupted by D'Hoffryn's angry growl.
''I want a level ten curse, his own pain ever lasting. Which in his case would be his friends,'' Anyanka
answered him.
''A level ten? You can't be serious, I've never done one of those before, even at my best!''
''Have you forgotten what this infidel has done? I want his blood, his torment.'' Shaking her head,
''You mean I can't just go with the blue wil....''
''No! Look at what you were like just mere hours ago.....'' Waving his hands in the darkness a square picture formed in front of them.
''Hey...that's me and Hallie....in the Club Vengeance toilets.....hey!'' Anyanka said, a hint of a whinge coming into her voice.
{{Anyanka: (Crying)....he's so out of order, I mean we haven't even been broken up for two weeks and he's already pulling some slut.
Hallie: You don't need him. He's such a wanker. You can do so much better. You know you can.
Other Girl Demon: Babe, don't let yourself get so wound up. There's shitloads of fine evil daemons out there. You don't need crap like that.
Anyanka: I know, but I really liked him (sobbing, also has a stream of snot dripping from nose). I don't understand how he can turn his feelings on and off like that. Did you see the girl?
Hallie: She was a fat bitch. Don't worry 'bout it. Come on, babe, I'll get you another Hell Raiser.}}
''You see what he's made, you?'' D'Hoffryn told her as the image winked out.
''Yeah, but I did some digging that whore came on to him and I....''
''You're not going to curse him?'' D'Hoffryn lit up the room they were in with a clap of his hands, making his deep blue face clearly viewable. Answering him Anyanka replied,
''I...no. I can't. I still love him. I.....I can’t help it!'' closing her eyes, Anyanka blinks back the tears.
''Pathetic,'' D'Hoffryn growls, waving his had at her. Screaming in pain, she looks down as her necklace dissolves into nothing, making her human once again. Facing her and making her look into his eyes with his power, he seethingly spits,
''If you cannot punish him. I shall.'' Before she can answer he knocks her back with a wave of his hand as he disappears in a flash of light. Seconds later Anya jumped to her feet, shouting,
''No, Xander, no....''
Chapter 1: Oh No! Fortune Interrupted!
Rapping hard on the door, Xander tried to peak through the closed blinds cover the windows. I still can't believe I'm doing this, he thought. Last night, he'd been moping at the Bronze, watching the happy couples kissing, dancing having a good time while he was alone. Tara had come in and somehow sensing his mood, went over for a chat. Trying to convince him that his life wasn't going to be misery and pain, she'd tried to read his palm, see his future. With everything he'd seen, this was still the one thing he had no belief in, reading palms, Oooo... he thought, like it was going to work. Turned out he was right, she couldn't get a reading of any kind. But, with a lot of convincing on her part, he decided to see one of her friends.
So, here he was, knocking on Madam Susana's door. A woman who Tara assured him was very genuine and not at all evil. It wasn't that he didn't believe that this woman didn't have some kind of power....actually that was it, he didn't want to be turned into a toad, so he was here intent on being nice and not making any sarcastic comments.
He was about to leave when the door opened. His jaw open, his eyebrow raised high as he took in Madam Susana. Her dress, if you could call it that, was made up of every possible colour. Bangles, beads, coloured string tied in loops adorned her neck and wrists. Bright hoop earrings hanging from each ear. This lady made his Aunt Mavis look sane. Other than the pallet of make up that was slopped over her face she didn't appear to be that old. Looked around thirty, very piercing blue eyes and black hair. Taking a second look, whoa, Xander thought, her hair isn't reflecting any light at all. Must be some kind of spell he figured. Shaking out of his stupor, Xander held out his hand.
''Hi....uh....Tara sent me?''
''Yes,'' Madam Susana said in an elegant tone, a pointed smile on her face ‘‘you must be Alexander. Come in, dear.''
Walking in he whispered to himself, ''I'd say this girl is definitely interrupted.''
''What was that?'' Madame Susana asked. ''Oh nothing,'' Xander said in a nonchalant tone, ''Just talking to myself.''
================
Anya was panicking. Her boss, well old boss was pissed. She'd never seen him so angry before, she had to warn Xander, get Buffy's help! But first she needed to get out of here, how.....
''Hallie!'' Anya shouted, ''Hallie, Hallie, Ha.....'' a flash of light and a voice interrupted her mantra.
''Chill girl, I'm he....whoa you're mortal again?''
''I know, I know…..look I need your help,'' Anya told her, then explaining what happened. ''So will you help me?''
Hallie didn't answer, but had an angry scowl fastened on her face. ''He was watching us in the bathroom?!''
Anya gave her a pointed look, ''Oh, but why. He so deserves it, okay maybe not a level ten. D hasn't done anything like that in thousands of years. I mean way before my and your times. But that Xander does deserve pain and a little sufferi.....'' noticing Anya's look she huffed.
''Okay, but only cause it's you and you helped me through that time with Gornach and curs.....''
''Hallie!'' ''Okay!'' With a flick of her finger they were gone.

Holding hands over the small circular table, Xander looked around the room. Multi-coloured draped hung from the walls, incense sticks were placed near the windows and above a small fireplace. Their sweet sent filling the room, adding to the whole mystic feel. A black cat was wondering around somewhere, having jumped of the table they were now sitting around. The crystal ball in between looked pretty good, Xander noticed. Might be good for a laugh, he thought.
The only light from the room was coming from a blue tinted bulb hanging from the ceiling, the windows completely covered by the drapes. If he didn't trust Tara so much, he would have been out the window as soon as he saw the rat skull on a shelf near the door. pTara said she was good, not evil, good, good, good. Jilting him out his worried thoughts Madam Susana spoke.
''I can't seem to see anything, there's something holding me back, I think.'' pulling back her hands, she dug into something on the floor beside her chair. Sitting up he handed something to him.
''Here, Alexander, put this around your neck,'' looking at the object in his hand, he noticed it was a jade coloured stone tied to black string. ''What's it for?'' Xander asked curiously, experience having bred caution. He'd been
around too much, to not ask questions.
''This, is a Qua'let Stone. It will allow me to better focus on your mind and push past the barrier or whatever may be holding me back. So I can see your future. It's quite safe, I can assure you.'' ''Okay, it sounds fine, I guess.'' he replied, putting it round his neck.
Grasping his hands again, she told him, ''Clear your mind. Breathe easily....that's it.' I'm getting....getting, nothing.'' Opening her eyes, but not releasing his hands,
''This is strange.''
''What?'' Xander asked, ''That I have no future? Not really, I could have told you that.''
''It doesn't work like that, my dear. The spell is set to show me significant points in your life, good or bad. But there's just nothing.'' A look of concentration covered her face, then she said,
''I'm going to increase the potency, you need not do a thing except clear your mind again and breathe easily. I've never done it this powerfully on a human before, but it should be okay.''
''Should be?'' Xander asked a little panicked, trying to pull his hands back, but she just grasped tighter.
''Alexander, Xander, you have nothing to fear. It's just that I've never failed before, it'll be bad for business if I start now. Right dear? I may not have done anything this powerful before, but it's the same spell, just more intensely focused and expanded, including everything....well almost everything. We'll be able to see images through my crystal ball once it's completed.'' Relaxing somewhat, Xander nodded.
''Just like before, the energy might make you tingle. It'll connect us again, ready? Breathe calmly....breathe.'' she said soothingly.
Closing his eyes, Xander felt the something pass through into his hands and move up his arms, tingling, not painful, just....tingly.
=================
''I'm bored,'' Buffy sighed dejectedly, twirling a strand of hair in her fingers. Looking over at Dawn, Willow and Tara who were working on the other side of the table.
''You can help me with my homework!'' Dawn told her sister happily, a smile plastered on her face. Sticking her tongue out at Dawn, ''I'm not that bored......yet.'' As if just realising something she asked,
''Where's Xander,'' Tara looked up and was about to reply when a bright flash appeared on the table, followed by a scream.
''Xander!''
===================
Hearing Madam Susana begin to chant, Xander made an effort to clear his mind, taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly. Another deep breath, exhaling it slowly, hey I'm getting pretty good at this, Xander thought with a smile before carrying on. Closing his eyes, he took another deep breath and exhaled slowly.
====================
D'Hoffryn was angry, he'd been trying to find the infidel that had turned one of his most feared vengeance demons into a human loving wretch, but something was blocking him. Growling in anger he cast a location spell, one that would leave humans gasping for breath and barely conscious; one that he shrugged off without a second thought. A placid grin crossed his face as he winked out, appearing in a small room. He was invisible to all except those he allowed to see him.
Ignoring the surroundings he focused his gaze onto his victim, Alexander Harris. Xander as Anyanka called him, D'Hoffryn thought with increasing disgust.
Waving his hand, making himself visible, he spoke,
''I've learned quite a bit about you Mr.Harris,'' Hearing a voice Xander opened his eyes and automatically attempted to move. But his arms, legs, every muscle in his body seemed to be frozen. He managed to turn his eyes towards the sound of the voice, not able to do as his body wanted; gasp out in fear as he saw who was standing there.
''I've come to realise with the help of Anyanka,'' feeling his fear, D'Hoffryn smiled ''Yes, Anyanka told me all about you, how much you care for your friends.'' Hearing this, thoughts quickly passed through his mind and an indignant emotion washed through him. He couldn't let this guy hurt his friends.
''Oh yes, the pain I'll cause them. It will be glorious, haha. I shall bathe in their blood. You'll try to save them no doubt. But you wont have the chance, you’ll be too far away and in too much pain.'' D'Hoffryn's eyes glowed with power, pulsating as his skin seemed to glow.
Xander could only watch in growing fear, still not being able to be. Looking back at Madam Susana, it looked like she was in some kind of trans. She was still chanting, mumbling whatever spell she was doing. Minds, he suddenly thought.
She said our minds would be connected....or something. He tried talking to her, then thinking to her. It's not working, he thought, getting more and more antsy.
Turning his eyes back to D'Hoffryn, energy seemed to be cascading off his skin. It started to smooth out like a mist floating over him. No, Xander thought as D'Hoffryn held his hands out towards Xander.
''Yes,'' D'Hoffryn hissed, ''Yes,'' he laughed manically as the energy, shoot towards Xander. The impact snapped Xander's head back, the energy hitting him at full force. To D'Hoffryn's surprise the spells energy seemed to be sucked into something around Xander's neck.
Realising for the first time that there was someone else in the room, he turned his gaze onto Madam Susana. Closing his eyes he cast a spell, to see what exactly was going on and upon receiving an answer opened his eyes in shock.
''...........'' a string of demonic curses flew from his mouth, these magiks should never mix, he thought angrily before winking out.
===============
Finishing the spell Madam Susana opened her eyes, looking at Xander with a smile, quickly turning to shock as she noticed him gasping in pain. The jade necklace around his neck shooting out what looked like mini bolts of electricity.
''That shouldn't have happened,'' she said trying to pull her hands away. As they lost contact a spark of energy erupted from the necklace and struck her. The expanding energy became too much for the jade stone and it burst erupting the powerful energy that was D'Hoffryn's spell. It mixed with the spell that Madam Susana cast shattering her crystal ball, the focus. The energy swirled together and then expanded encompassing first the room, then the whole house. The energy heated up and intensified, burning their skin.
Without warning the energy shot skywards shattering the roof and kept on going. They both scream in pain as heat from the energy increased, it started to pull them apart; molecule-by-molecule.
Chapter 2: Help! Now What?
Pain.
Everywhere.
Pain.
All Xander could feel was pain, he could not scream, could not gasp. Every part of his body burned, his mind could not comprehend anything beyond the pain. He heard an explosion, it sounded like it was so far away, distant. There was something, someone close by, he couldn't see them, or hear them, but some how he knew.
He was moving, flying incredible speed. Things seemed to blur in his mind, the incoherent tries at forming thoughts became nothing, only one emotion was present; pain.
As he felt himself moving, flying he saw places, millions of places, countless numbers of people, they flashed through his mind without a thought. For mille-seconds he some how recognised some of the people and places.
He felt himself being pulled apart, the pain deafening,
millions of molecules.....
billions.....
Something started to cover him, it felt like they were smothering, the one emotion sparking again as the burning increased, merging, pain, merging. He couldn't get them off, they were smothering him, couldn't get
them off......

Location: Far, far, far away.
Date: ??/??/??
Haneth dug his Chemrod into the ground leaning against it as he brushed the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand. It was tiring work he mused as he watched thirteen other men and women do the same thing he was doing. The double suns shone brightly down as they worked in the fields, the long grassy Shalopa stem plants partially blocking out the sun, casting a light blue shadow where the hit their flowers.
The Shalopa fields were on the sides of a row of large hills and their height
made everything visible for miles around. They had to make sure the plants were ready for harvesting in the coming months, it was the only thing of commercial value they had and ships only came out this far once or twice a year. The plants were sometimes worse than newborn babies, needing constant attention to thrive. Picking up his rod, Haneth started to test the soil again when what sounded like a loud crack of thunder pierced his ears.
''Drex!'' Haneth shouted to the nearest of the other farmers, ''What in the of Telos, was that?''
''I don't know?!'' Drex shouted back. ''Over there,'' Harla, another farmer shouted. Everyone had taken notice by now and was looking over. By the third hill, seemingly out of nowhere a crackle of what looked like electricity sparked creating another thunderous roar. The single bolt, writhed and struck out charring the ground wildly, suddenly multiplying in all directions striking out at ten different locations. Every spark was becoming louder and louder, and the bolts of electricity...or whatever they were just seemed to get larger.
''Drex! We have to leave,'' Haneth shouted, ''I don't know, what that is, but we have to get out of here!''
''What about the crop?'' Drex answered. ''Forget them, they wont do any good if we're de....''
Haneth was drowned out by the thunder of more of the wildly arcing bolts striking out wider. Everyone took notice, acknowledging him. Within minutes they were all heading back to the town.
The bolts striking ground at random, started glow, becoming blindingly white, arcing across of the ground, increasing their spread. The energy spikes began to form an opening in its centre, more powerful bolts striking out at the ground, leaving miniature craters. Without warning, two streams of particles spurted from the opening, one going right and the other left. Both fronts of the streams
stopped some meters away, but the flow from the portal did not stop. The particles condensed and focused. Their random patterns starting to take shape, energy cascading around them as they became more densely focused. With a final blast and thunderous echoing roar, he particle stream stopped. In an explosion of brilliant white light the portal closed. Leaving two shapes, still forming.......
