Background & Why I need Help:

I am in the extremely early stages of the History of Galthalus Hailisious' production, and there has yet to be chapters, legitimate dialogue or even anything leading you to believe it is in literary form at all. Rather you could see this as an extremely detailed plot outline. Once I feel this plot outline to be perfect, then I will convert it to book form, but that is something of the future. I can see now that the plot and story are both definitely flawed, and I ache to improve character development, environments, plot/story and the whole story in and of itself. Moreover the story does not become necessarily entertaining or worthwhile until (THE CORUSCANT YEARS (PART 3) ), which is 1/5th of the story.

Title: The Knight of the New Republic

Author(s): Andrew Hatkoff

Timeframe: During and After the Star Wars Saga

Characters: Galathale (Our Main Character)

Genre: Action Adventure

Summary: A young Hailisian infant is dropped on the doorstep of an extremely skilled and infamous bounty hunter, after troubles in his home Galaxy of Galantidiades drive his parents to hide him for protection. The bounty hunter, Libeth Fuerek, takes the boy in and trains him as one of her own, and he becomes to her a son, quite able to achieve all that she hopes for him. However, there is something about Galthalus the Hailisian that is extraordinary, and that is his heritage. Not only is Galthalus a prince, but he is the child to Knights of the Old Republic, long forgotten but not dead. Why not dead? The Hailisian species have an exact appearance like humans, but are gifted with an extremely long lasting life span, far outreaching even eight generations of a human family. Will Galathale become even half what his parents are? What adventures will he go through in the long Hailisian life that is ahead of him?

THE KNIGHT OF THE NEW REPUBLIC

THE CORELLIAN YEARS – Age 0 - 19

Galthalus was born on the Royal city-planet Hailis-Grantus seventeen years prior to the destruction of the first Death Star. His parents Merciella and Rendarison Hailisious, both Knights of the Old Republic, were members of the extremely rare Hailisian race, thus their age of 4000.

THE HAILISIAN RACE

Hailisians share much of their DNA with that of humans, although many who know of the rare race say that they have the best of both worlds. Hailisians have an outstandingly long life span that can be lengthened to infinite if the being lives in the Hailisia system of the Galantidies Galaxy. The planets which surround the Hailisia system function around a single Bitarial Sun. The bitarial sun, generates around the solar system a rare form of bitarial energy. This energy is phenomenal, for it regenerates the Hailisian body structure giving the gift of endless life. The Hailisians DNA-structure contains a specific genome which gives them extremely long lasting life, even if they are never effected by even a particle of Bitarial Energy. Thus a Hailisian living away from the bitarial sun can still outlive any human by at least a few hundred years. If a being were to live continually surrounded by bitarial energy, his or her body would eventually store the energy in their body and use it for many years afterwards. In a human’s case, merely ten years of being exposed to the Bitarial sun would allow them to live an extra forty years. Of course sickness and mortal wounds still take effect on the Hailisian body along with those who carry Bitarial energy, since the energy cannot regenerate the Hailisian body structure at such speed. The Galantidies Galaxy neighbors the “Core Galaxy (also known as the Star Wars Galaxy) but is so far away it would take thousands of years of hyperspace travel to reach. However, there is a mysterious black hole which connects the two Galaxies together. Only a few know of this incredible secret, only those of Royal blood.

-------------------------

Conflict and terror drove Merciella and Rendarison to the radical plan of removing Galathale from the Galantidiades galaxy, and taking him to the neigboring "Star Wars" Galaxy, through a black-hole which only those of Royal Blood knew of. Their intentions were only meant to save his life from the Abatar threat that existed in the Hailisia system. Galthalus’ life was in danger, for the conquering horned creatures known as Abatars were on a campaign to take over the Galaxy and rid it of the Hailsian race. Merciella and Rendarison commanded the Hailisian forces against the Abatars, and the Aliens grew to know the threat of the Jedi and their connection to the force. The Abatars knew that any child of such powerful Jedi could possibly threaten the future existence of their rule, thus Rendarison and Merciella knew they had to protect their child in case their race was exterminated. It is in Coro-Net that infant Galthalus was dropped on the doorstep of an acclaimed Bounty Hunter known as Libeth Fuerek (the only Hailisian living In the outer rim), and it is here that the child became known as not Galthalus Hailisious, but as Galathale Fuerekes Animus.

Libeth Fuerek

The true identity of the beautiful Lasibeth Furekes was only known by a few, for she was always seen wearing her set of Mandalorian Armor with the alias Libeth Fuerek. Many beings of the Galaxy thought Libeth Fuerek to be a man, due to her outstanding skills in battle, and her renowned fame as a bounty hunter. One of the only beings to have ever seen her true face and not died shortly after, was Galthalus Hailisious. When Galathale was dropped on her doorstep as an infant with a data-pad seventeen years prior to the Battle of Yavin, Libeth, being half Hailisian herself, honored the datapad’s plea to guarantee the child’s safety and she took him under her wing, teaching him all the knowledge he needed to become even more deadly then she was.

-------------------------

Galthalus learned much from the mysterious and renowned Bounty Hunter Libeth Fuerek. Much of Galathale’s early life was spent in the area of education, which Fuerek took extremely seriously. He was trained in the art of warfare at a time when human children of his age were first becoming accustomed to general mathematics. Concurrently, he learned an array of languages, and studied extensively in the areas of basic knowledge (Math, Basic, Science, History) and Advanced Knowledge (Planetology, Xenoarcheaology, Xenopsychology, Nano-technology). When he came of age, Fuerek started to teach him to be a stone cold bounty hunter and soldier, as she was. However, what she taught him made him far more of a foe then many bounty hunters of the Galaxy who were twice his age. Fuerek simply wouldn’t settle for anything less then the best. With die hard determination he learned all the skills of a professionals trade, including cantina charisma, and common as well as complicated fighting acrobatics. He also mastered various fighting techniques including Teras Kasi and Echani.

Galathale also learned much on his own, particularly in the area of using a pistol. This knowledge was gained through personal experience, in which Galathale would either travel far distances or go off planet with a group of hunters to hunt dangerous rancor and other vicious animals. Through hunting Galathale befriended a Zabrak by the name of Phear Phatina, a Twi’lek by the name of Pavisa Novel and a male Zabrak: Devini Chack.

Libeth also took Galathale on off world campaigns, to aid her in her bounty hunting missions and smuggler runs. On those specific missions, to hide his identity, Galathale wore a set of Mandalorian armor (crafted by Libeth) and would go under the alias name Galvan Aidus. Galvan Aidus became a famous bounty hunter himself, but none discovered his or Libeth’s true identity. So famous did the pair become, that they were given the title “Mandalorian Brothers” and many times there expertise were chosen over the great Boba Fett. When he turned seventeen, Galathale began to become interested in Swoop Racing, which at the time was very popular in Corellia’s city of Tyrena. Betting with a local loosing swoop racer that he could win with his swoop, for his swoop and all the winnings, Galathale put at risk all his valued possessions. Galathale won that race, and with the winnings he had enough to buy the parts to build his own personal swoop. With the money and cash he won on the races, Galathale bought himself his own apartment in the center of Coro-Net. Traveling around the Galaxy for swoop racing ventures, Galathale won much fame. With his fame came glory, but also unwanted and underworld attention. More than a dozen renowned and infamous assassins were sent, on one of the loosing Swoop winners behalf, to end Galathale’s life for his upset of the great racer Kongus Keriva. However, all who attempted to harm him were either killed by Galathale, Phear Phatina or Libeth Fuerek, who still looked after him even after he became independent.

Many of the Assassins were on CoroNet’s ten most wanted list, and the news of vigilantism brought the attention of the Corellian Defense Force, who hired Galathale as an intern on missions against murderers and serial killers. When Galathale was nineteen, a serial killer and previously renowned bounty hunter, Devuris Osin, murdered Adis Pinide, Lasibeth Fuerekes’ bounty hunting friend. Galathale was interned on a task force to hunt down Devuris, and he promised himself and Libeth that he would catch the murderer and bring him to justice. Galathale tracked Devuris down and in a short blaster fight in the middle of a Coro-Net Cantina Galathale ended the serial killer’s/under world leader’s life. With this victory came an honorary Corellian bloodstripe, however, Galathale was reaching for other things in the world and he wanted to see the rest of the Galaxy. Concurrently Libeth made it clear to him that Coruscant was the place for receiving education, and Galathale knew that the swoop runs there would give him enough cash to pay for his own Starfighter. Galathale, ready to travel, took the proposition and left Libeth Fuerek, the woman who had cared for him for so many years.

THE CORUSCANT YEARS – Age 19- Age 23

Although Galathale hated the Empire as a whole, he knew that he needed further education of the Galaxy if he was to go very far, and so enrolled in the Advanced level of Starship Engineering at the Imperial run University of Coruscant. Despite the fact that he had achieved much in both home and public schooling, what impressed the Imperial recruiters most was the vastness of his knowledge exposed during the interview. Although the university schooling took much out of his free time on the more elegant side of Coruscant, Galathale inevitably managed to participate in the illegal activities of the undercity. Galathale renewed his alias name Galvan Aidus and participated in The Underground Duel Arena’s. He became the undefeated gold champion known as the Smokin’ Blaster and Smokin’ Fists. Even though his education took up a lot of his time, Galathale managed to win the gold metal in Coruscant’s Underground Swoop Racing Cup and in Coruscant’s Official Swoop Racing Cup. At the age of twenty-one Galathale graduated at the top of his class. By this time he was fed up with the Empire enough to do something about it.

Recruited at a very last stage for the Rebellion, Galathale began to pilot a broken up A-Wing. While the first battle Galathale fought was the Battle of Endor, he was responsible for the destruction of the Super Star Destroyers first shield generator, and he was one of the three of ten, (Antilles, him and Calrissian) who entered the second Death Star and lived to exit it. After this Galathale participated in the siege of Coruscant, in which he destroyed the most enemy fighters of any Rebel pilot. Although he was indeed alive and well, a mistake in the Rebel death roster put his name up as dead. At home his friends organized a non-body casket funeral for Galathale, and they bid what they thought was farewell to him. Once the Empire was defeated, the living Galathale took residence once more at the neutralized Coruscant. By the age of twenty-three he had decided that what he wanted to do most was to discover the mystery of his true parents. The datapad, given to Fuerek at Galathale’s drop off, was now in Galathale’s hands. With Galathale’s finger touching it, it clicked on revealing to him information he never even dreamed of. With his A-wing and the information provided on the datapad, Galathale piloted himself towards the Broxant Sector. This area was home to the mysterious black hole which the datapad said led to the mysterious Galantidiades Galaxy.

THE ORD MANTELL YEARS – Age 24-26

Before Galathale reached the black hole in the Broxant Sector, his A-wing engine gave out and he crash-landed on Ord Mantell’s junkland wastes. Becoming absolutely astounded by the junkland and taking refuge with a kind junk scraper named Levos and his son Levinith, Galathale was ready to put his starship engineering skills to work. It is here that Galathale constructed the later renowned R2-D9. Furthermore, Galathale programmed the Astromech droid to help him with his starship engineering and plan work. Stumbling onto the remains of an old Naboo Starfighter, Galathale crafted himself his own remodeled jet starfighter made from different ship materials. It took a good two years to finish the starfighter, but once it was completed, he had crafted one of the fastest and deadliest fighters in the Galaxy.

THE GANTILIADES YEARS – Age 26-27

Galathale knew that few had ever attempted the plunge through the black hole, but he set out towards the Galantidiades portal anyway. The black hole took Galathale to his intended destination: The Hailisia System, otherwise known as the home of the Hailisian Kingdom. The datapad, which he had held onto, mysteriously activated a flight pattern and served as a map that lead Galathale to his parents homeworld. Quite amazingly the planets around Hailis-Grantus were quite populated, yet there were very few planets in the system. After Galathale reached the planet’s surface, it did not take long for him to find his parents. His parents, King and Queen of the planet, were very prestigous figures in the Galaxy, and he was their son, a prince. He reached his parents’ palace with ease, for Merciella and Rendarison, both Jedi, sensed their son’s presence. His parents greeted him with extreme love and Galathale, quite in awe, had many questions. His first question was why they had taken him so far away from their Galaxy only to leave him with a bounty hunter. They told him everything.

When he was born the Abatar were an extreme threat to the Hailisian race. There was terror on every planet and the Abatars had somehow gathered such a large force that the future of the Hailisians was questioned. Thus to protect him, they said, they ordered him away from the Galaxy to the doorstep of another Hailisian, an extremely skilled one who could protect him in case the threat spread to the outer-rim. Galathale was satisfied with the answer he was given. He was fascinated with the idea that his parents were both Knights of the Old Republic and that they were thousands of years old, so they enlightened him on this subject as well.

Back in the days of the Old Republic, Merciella and Rendarison were both very young explorers. They had royal blood and so were privy to the location of the mysterious black hole, which was their first choice for exploration. Exploring the outer rim territories of the Galaxy that the black hole led them to, they realized how different the two Galaxies were. The Core-Worlds at the time, were going through the age of the Sith Wars. The Jedi, realizing that Merciella and Rendarison had profound connections to the force, took them in and trained them as Jedi Knights. They became great commanders of Republic forces, and with their sabers-in-hand commanded thousands of soldiers into battle. Rendarison met Merciella in the Jedi Council on Dantooine and there they realized that they were both unique and were of a similar race, which they thought they were the only members in the Galaxy of. After the Sith threat was erased from the Galaxy, an event which took over a millenia, the couple were already Jedi Masters. Rendarison concurrently was head of the Jedi council. When the Galaxy finally was at a long lasting peace, the two decided that they should leave and return to their home. Thus Prince Rendarison was crowned king and took Merciella as his wife. Then, two thousand years later, at a time when an alien race known as the Abatars entered the Galaxy, Galathale was born. Having heard of the great Luke Skywalker while on Corellia, and having heard his parents’ story, Galathale decides that he wants to learn the ways of the Jedi. Rendarison and Merciella tell him that they can not teach him the ways of the Jedi because he is not yet of age and needs to mature.

THERE IS PLOT MISSING HERE- (I NEED HELP WRITING PLOT HERE)
Galathale is told by his parents that he must be ready before he becomes a Jedi, and that means ridding Coruscant of a threat to the Republic. This threat is something evil that possesses the force. ((I NEED SOMEONE'S HELP TO MAKE UP WHAT THAT EVIL THREAT MIGHT BE.)) Therefore he is told that to be ready for Jedi training, he must overcome one who is skilled in the force, without help from the force.

Before he leaves however, he is trained in the art of Hailisian combat, which is quite different than anything he has ever seen before. Galathale becomes even more deadly then he was from Libeth's training. Galathale returns to the “Star Wars Galaxy” to Coruscant and helps the New Republic get rid of --THE THREAT--. Be aware this takes place during the DARK EMPIRE period. Libeth, who is now working as a hired gun for the New Republic, discovers that Galathale is alive. Galathale meets up again with an aged 19 year old Levinith, who also has joined the New Republic, and the 3 of them then return to Gantiliades

THE GANTILIADES YEARS (PART 2) – Age 30-1045

Upon his arrival to the Hailisia system and his home planet Hailis-Grantus, Galathale realized his new feelings for Lasibeth Fuerekes, and that was love. The two of them began their own intimate relationship and they married when Galathale was thirty-two. This relationship makes Galathale forget his hopes to become a Jedi. Resting for over a millennia in the Galantidia Galaxy, Galathale’s happiness seemed to fade when Lasibeth began to break away from the relationship. Lasibeth had fallen in love with another Hailisian, and Galathale confronted the pair, to discover that Lasibeth was pregnant with her other lover’s child. Lasibeth and her secret lover left the Galantidia system, leaving Galathale alone with the non-aging Levinith. Galathale, began to see in Levinith a true friend and Levinith, very impressed by Galathale's skills, asks Galathale to train him. Galathale agrees. By the end of his training, however, Levinith was ready to return to the Core Worlds, because over the years Bitarial energy had effected him so that his growth was literally stopped completely and he wanted to feel what it was to age and grow once more. Galathale as a parting gift gives Levinith the (Galaxies Spear - A ship of the Millennium Falcon/Ebon Hawk variety). The Galaxies Spear once belonged to his parents in the age of the Old Republic, however, Galathale had updated it with new and worthy technology and components. With the Galaxies Spear, Levinith and ED-22 piloted themselves through the black hole and back to the outer rim territories. Galathale torn with the fact that his love left him for another, and torn with his loneliness, was ready to return to the Outer Rim himself, but the force told him that something in the outer rim had gone terribly wrong and he knew that if he left he might not return alive. Even Galathale’s parents’ visions were clouded and they told Galathale that if he left, even he might not hold off the evil that clouded their vision. Galathale then knows it is time that he start training as a Jedi, but mysteriously his parents refuse. They tell him that to learn the way of the Jedi would take years, and years ago Galathale neglected his promise to learn. Galathale, defying his parents wishes, leaves the Galaxy.

THE CORUSCANT YEARS (PART 3) – Age 1530 – 1530

Upon entering the Galaxy, Galathale immediately ran into a convoy of what he discovered were Sith Capital Class ships. Galathale, through his sense in the force and with help from his database computer, discovered more about the situation. The Sith had somehow taken control of the galaxy and what was left of the Republic had retreated to secret locations around the galaxy. Upon being pulled into a tractor beam by one of the Capital ships, Galathale fired his proton torpedoes (destroyed the tractor beam interior) and flew his way to the other side of the galaxy (through hyperspace.). Galathale, using his ship’s communicator, scanned far and wide for the Galaxies Spear but could not find it. He then engaged his Galaxy search and searched for the name Galaxies Spear and Levinith, but could only find records of the Galaxies Spear being used over six millennia previously. Galathale then knew he had to enter what had the potential to be the dragons den, Coruscant. He knew Coruscant would most likely be under the control of the Sith if what the force and his database computer told him was true. However, Galathale also knew the undercity of Coruscant very well, which was a perfect place for a resistance to hide. Galathale configured his ship to have Sith status for safety as he traveled through the depths, but upon entering the undercity, he reverted it back to neutral. Then, wearing his Mandalorian armor, Galathale entered a Cantina to get himself a drink. Little did he know that Lucienes Fuerekes, sister of Lasibeth Fuerekes, had laid eyes upon him.

Lucienes Fuerek

The twin sister of Lasibeth Fuerekes, Lucienes Fuerekes, like her sister was a deadly Bounty Hunter disguised in Mandalorian Armor. However Lucienes Fuerekes was much more deadly and was much darker and more mysterious then her sister. She had spent the earlier years of her life working for the Black Sun, killing the deadliest targets the Galaxy had to offer. She had also worked for the Empire as a contract killer, and Darth Vader on one occasion admitted that he even feared “anyone who would upset his wrath.” Like Libeth Fuerek, all who heard of the deadly killer thought the being in the Mandalorian armor to be male. Lasibeth Fuerekes and Lucienes Fuerekes, although sisters, did not maintain a close relationship. Lucienes Fuerekes was simply better and smarter then Lasibeth in every way shape and form, and was far too independent doing her own things in the Galaxy. Lasibeth also had disagreed with Lucienes’ dark workings and murder of the occasional innocent. Galathale had heard of Lucienes, but had never got the chance to meet her. Lucienes Fuerekes however knew more of Galathale, and on more then one occasion she examined him from the shadows.

-------------------------

Galathale left the Cantina knowing that he was being followed and already had a plan in mind. Catching Lucienes undetected, both in Mandalorian armor, they began to enter a small fray. Galathale had trouble overcoming Lucienes Fuerekes even with his amazing abilities, for she was too quick. In the end, however, Galathale overcame the skilled bounty hunter knocking her into a wall. When Galathale asked Lucienes why she had followed him, she said she knew who the armor used to belong to and wanted to know where and when he stole it. Galathale then said the armor was always his, and that he was looking for no battle, but plain and simple understanding of the events in the galaxy and what had happened since the Sith had taken control. Lucienes, however, said that in return he would have to tell her where he got his armor. Galathale and Lucienes entered the dark side of Coruscant, the run down area of the undercity where Galathale had parked the Reborn Phoenix and where most buildings lay unused and isolated. Once there, Lucienes demanded to know Galathale’s true identity and he told her his name was Galvin Aidus. Lucienes did not believe him and demanded he remove his helmet. Galathale, knowing he had nothing to loose, took off his helmet and Lucienes fell backwards with disbelief. The young man she had spied on when she was younger had developed into a man. Galathale then demanded her identity and she took off her helmet. At that Galathale fell backwards seeing how similar Lucienes was to his love Lasibeth. Lucienes told him everything and explained how she was Lasibeth’s twin. At that the two began to reveal to each other what was most important. Galathale told Lucienes of his failed relationship with her sister, while Lucienes told Galathale of the situation in the Galaxy. How the Sith had taken control, how the Republic had already been defeated and had scattered across the galaxy. Lucienes, however, was unaware of the whereabouts of her sister, and she said that she would rather it stay that way.

Galathale had already had a plan in mind. He knew he had a great power but he also remembered what his parents told him about him not having enough power to defeat what was to come. Galathale then asked Lucienes if she could do him a favor and work with him. He asked her if she could point out specific people in local cantina’s who were sympathetic to the Republic or against the Sith. Lucienes, however, was reluctant and more than that she was too independent. Galathale asked if she could atleast tell him the whereabouts of any Republic remnants, and she told him there was a resistance somewhere around the undercity, some small fighter squadron. Before Galathale could respond Lucienes had left. The next month Galathale made a lot of things in preparation for what he knew was war. Galathale’s droid R2-D9 helped him collect junk parts from the junkyard and areas around the undercity. The underground building that Galathale moved himself into had been some sort of bunker for Republic troops over two millennias previously and with the junk parts Galathale scavenged, he turned the abandoned underground shelter into a secure highly-technological bunker

The New Order Bunker

Galathale set up an advanced computer system with parts he and R2-D9 had scavenged, and with it he could monitor all of the cities communication and important information. On top of this, security guns were set up in every entrance and exit. The Reborn Phoenix, docked in the underfloor, was also installed with a new Zion Energy, which Galathale had somehow scavenged. This energy, a new technology that had been created in his time away, allowed The Phoenix’s duel laser cannons to wield 56% more overall damage.

Galathale eventually managed to track down the Galaxies Spear with his advanced computer system. The Spear had entered space somewhere close to Coruscant and was sending out a distress signal. Galathale knew that this meant the Galaxies Spear was in trouble. With the Reborn Phoenix Galathale piloted himself towards Galaxies Spear’s waypoint. The Galaxies Spear was under attack by ten Sith Starfighters, but Galathale’s Reborn Phoenix outmatched them in seconds. The Sith ships had no idea what was coming, and didn’t even have the chance to identify the Phoenix. Galathale gave his regards to Levinith and told him to join him in the undercity at his bunker, which would be safe for the Spear and its crew to stay for a while. The Galaxies Spear followed the Phoenix to the undercity and both ships docked in Galathale’s bunker. Once the ramp lowered, six beings emerged. Levinith and ED-22 had apparently gathered together six beings during his stay on Tatooine in attempts to form a small resilience force.

THE 5 BEINGS

#1 – Dace Gravinar
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Age: 32
Likeness: Carth Onassi

She then signed up with the Republic as a pilot, but her ship the “Galatina” was destroyed by a large Sith fleet in its early days. Miras was one of the fortunate souls who escaped down to the lands below and was rescued by a Smuggler Land Crew. Miras is a loner and is as undisciplined and rebellious out of the cockpit, as she is calculating and precise in it. She is perhaps the Republics best. The smuggler crew dropped her off at Tatooine where she was to regroup with the Republic, but she established a strong friendship with Janica and Levinith, and joined their cause.

#5- Kelin Rand
[blockquote]Sex: Male
Species: Twi’lek
Age: 28
Likeness:
Status: Bounty Hunter/ Assassin
Description: Self-centered, egotistical, dark-minded, sadistic, but also capable, Kelin Rand had studied profusely the art of combat. Delbacca is very angry at humans, specifically the Sith, for enslaving his race after more than a millennia of freedom. Delbacca hates life-debts because of one that he owed to a man who took advantage of his family finances and treated him like dirt.

- R5-D9
Droid Type: Astromech droid
Programming Age: Unknown
Likeness: R2-D2
Status: Royal Engineer Droid
Description: R5 Belonged to Senator Thrakas of Corellia before the wars began. However, Senator Thrakas began to fall under the lure of the Sith and left R5 to be scavenged by Junk traders, and shipped to Tatooine for a higher price. Senator Thrakas was killed by the Sith for not properly carrying out their orders in the system, and at the very moment of his death, R5’s memory was in the process of being erased. However, the process was interrupted as the junk traders were mowed down by Sith troops. R5 escaped, playing “Dead” or in other words “Non-Functional.” He met ED-22 in one of the small cantina’s of Anchorhead. ED-22 was accompanying Levinith at the time as protection. R5-D9 took a liking to ED-22, who did not enjoy the company. The little droid however grew on ED-22 and they began to see that both were useful in many situations. Levinith invited R5-D9 aboard the Galaxies Spear and R5 accepted.

These six beings were more than grateful to Galathale for saving their lives, and they offered him their lives as a debt to his courageous acts. Galathale said that all they owed him was allegiance in the upcoming war that he would wage against the darkness in the Galaxy. To do this he said they needed to help in a few things. At this he gave assignments to them all.

Assignments
[blockquote]- To scavenge materials needed to make the bunker a technological marvel.
- To gather together and scavenge materials needed to repair the Galaxies Spear
- To search out the remnants of the Republic
- To obtain a Sith/Neutral (Switch Able) ID tag to replace Galaxies Spear’s other. (Since it was identified) [/blockquote]

As a few months passed, Galathale and his crew achieved many things. They gained support of many anti-Sith and republic sympathizers, and with them they made the Bunker much more than a technological marvel. Galathale made it known to his comrades that sometime he would manage a planet wide escape of all Republic Remnants, and that it would require worthy pilots as an escort to ensure success. On top of the success, Galathale managed to contact what he heard was Republic Remnants, who were located on the other side of the planet in the undercity. Galathale managed to contact a Republic Commander there, and he maintained daily datacomm sessions with him to update the situation. Apparently there was a secret base on the junk planet Ryloth devoted to the main Remnant, but the majority of Republic Remnants were scattered around the galaxy. Meanwhile Galathale had heard news of The Sith Lords. Apparently Darth Malus, the Supreme Commander of the Sith Forces, was by far the most powerful Sith Lord. He maintained control of the galaxy on his Flagship Chaotic Turmoil. There were many Sith who were powerful in the force, that served under his hand.

One of those Sith was Darth Fuerek, son of the Sith Grand Moff Derishan. Darth Fuerek was a skilled force adept in charge of maintaining control on Coruscant. He had a very vivid sense of the force, and with his incredible power he was able to foresee the last escape plans a Republic Remnant had made in the undercity. That attempt turned into a massacre, and the Remnants that contacted Galathale made it known to him that Darth Fuerek would need to be distracted if any escape plan was to succeed. Galathale knew he had to confront this Darth Fuerek. Galathale made contacts around the planet and discovered that Darth Fuerek held his quarters in the Upper City. With his incredible skills at being undetected, Galathale, wearing his armor set, made his way to Fuerek’s great observation deck. When Galathale entered the great observation deck, Darth Fuerek was there waiting. He had sensed Galathale’s presence. Darth Fuerek then stated that he sensed Galathale was strong in the force, but not strong enough to use it. Galathale did not fall to the Sith Lords attempts to anger him, and the two entered into a duel. Darth Fuerek wielded his lightsaber while Galathale in his Mandalorian armor got along well with simply his fists. However, before long Sith Troopers entered the room to watch their master duel. Something happened then that Galathale did not expect, Libeth Fuerek entered the room, and realizing it was Galathale told him to “stop.”

Galathale was in awe, but began to realize the harsh reality, Libeth was Darth Fuerek’s mother. Galathale losing his train of concentration fell backwards. He asked her how she could fall to such evil and allow such evil things to happen. Libeth then stated that she would not allow Galathale to kill her son. Fuerek, however, had his own Mandalorian warlord bodyguard, Reydis Pride, who walked up to Galathale and put a gun to his head. Hivan Derishan, Darth Fuerek’s father, and Sith Moff/governor of Coruscant, then said that Galathale was to be executed immediately. Galathale asked Libeth Fuerek if she really would see him die, since she allowed his heart to die after she left him. Galathale asked if Libeth would rather have his life taken than her sons and Libeth chose her son Darth Dashan Fuerek. It was then that Reydis Pride pushed Galathale to the edge of the observatory-deck, took of his helmet, threw it to the depths below, and shot a laser at Galathale’s head. Galathale fell past traffic and past all the zooming speeders to the miles and miles of depths below. He had not even been hurt, for secretly he resisted the laser blast with the energy of the force. Falling to the land below he activated his jetpack and landed peacefully on his two feet.

RYLOTH

In the millennia that Galathale had been gone from the Galaxy, Ryloth became a huge city planet/junkplanet about half the size of Coruscant. Heated with planet wide heaters, this planet could not survive without technology to protect it. However, it was a Republic planet, and when the Sith took control of the Galaxy the planet surface was destroyed. Without the technology to heat the planets surface, the planet fell to a snowy wasteland, like Hoth. Republic remnants landed here upon Dawns End Defeat (The end of the war against the Sith, and the official loss of the Republic)

-------------------------

Galathale was torn in two. The woman he once loved had totally abandoned him and had given up his life. He knew at that moment that all love she had for him was lost. It was then that Lucienes Fuerek made her second appearance. She came to Galathale quite pleasantly and told him that she had known the truth about her sister’s connection to the Sith all along, but she knew Galathale was Libeth’s lover, and could not bear to hear the truth. Galathale agreed and Lucienes stated that her sister still felt love for Galathale, but was scared out of her senses because of her son and husband being Sith. Lucienes tells Galathale that Lasibeth is scared for her life, and wants to leave her husband and son, due to the fact that she is so scared of them. Galathale asked Lucienes why she never made an attempt to save her own sister. Lucienes responded that Lasibeth would never have accepted her help, but above all else, “Darth Fuerek” was all knowing and incredibly powerful and would have hunted Lasibeth and Lucienes down for being traitors regardless of their relationships to him. Galathale stated that something must be done about Lasibeth, but Lucienes said that nothing could be done. When Galathale tried to respond, Lucienes was already gone.

A few days later, Galathale took Dace Gravinar and Levinith out to a cantina where he divulged to them the plans he had in mind. Dace told Galathale that he had never known that there was a secret base at Ryloth, but if what the Republic Remnant was telling him was true, then that would be the safest place to travel. Levinith also divulged that his contact could be a Sith hacker, but Galathale said the clearance codes sent to him via computer were Republic Standard and only republic officials would know them. Galathale then stated that he planned to make visual contact with the Commander of the Republic Remnants hideout on the other side of Coruscant, and that Dace would do well to join him. On his way back to the bunker, Dace, Levinith and Galathale had a little run in with Kelin Rand. Rand apparently didn’t see what was so special about Galathale and told him he was a fraud. Galathale responded with his own comebacks and Rand stated that the Galaxy could never be saved and asked what he was fighting for. Galathale said he was fighting for love of all things, a concept which Rand could never understand. The four left it at that and Galathale and Dace then took the Primedilian 9-Series Swoop Galathale had made so many years ago from the Galaxies Spear’s storage. The two of them then traveled to the opposite side of Coruscant's undercity to an area which was once an underground race pit, but now housed the Republic Remnant. Apparently the small force was a remnant of a once gleaming Republic Squadron, who fled to the underground of Coruscant after their mother ship had been destroyed. There were nineteen republic pilots led by a Commander Ardan Jarek, an outstanding pilot who had also been the leader of the Republic Squadron. Unfortunately, there were only eleven Republic ships docked in the undertunnels.

Galathale and Dace then decided that the Galaxies Spear would have to pick up the rest of the Republic Pilots who did not have ships. Galathale told Commander Jarek that he would send him a waypoint for the ships to meet in space and they would make final plans for escape via datacomm. Upon entering the bunker once more, Galathale and the rest of the crew decided to have themselves a small get together. They all sat around a Holo-Fire and began to talk about the state of things. Eventually it came to a point where they all told their own stories and how they ended up where they were. That night Galathale dreamed a terrible dream. He dreamed that Darth Fuerek knew his mother Lasibeth was a traitor after foreseeing a plan of hers to escape and join the Republic. Having had enough of her resistance to the Sith, Fuerek had her executed. When Galathale woke the force told him that what he saw was not a dream but indeed the truth. The woman he loved, the woman who had raised him, had been murdered by her own evil son.

Anger festered in Galathale’s blood, and so did his urge for revenge. He knew that Darth Fuerek had to be destroyed somehow if the escape of the Republic Remnant were to succeed. That day Galathale set in motion more plans. Gathering together Kelin, Miras, Janica, Herron, Dace, Delbacca and Levinith he made it known that very soon the moment they had all waited for would arrive. He then told Levinith that the Galaxies Spear would need to be sent to the Republic hideout to pickup nine Republic pilots, since there were not enough ships for them all. Kelin, Miras, Janica, Herron, Delbacca, Levinith and Dace agreed to the plans and set in motion plans of their own. Meanwhile Galathale sent the waypoint to Commander Jarek and stated that the escape would occur in no less then a Corellian week.

That night Galathale knew it was time to distract the Sith, a type of distraction which would make the Sith unorganized enough that they would not be able to foresee an escape by the resistance force. Galathale told the bunker crew that they were to destroy the Sith’s Main Starfighter Hanger (Hanger 456-A), which held the majority of the Sith Squadrons that guarded Coruscant. While Kelin, Miras, Herron, Delbacca, Levinith and Dace would be in charge of this, Janica would monitor the computer system at the bunker for news of success. Meanwhile Galathale had his own plans in mind and told the group that he would not be joining them. The group then set out in the Galaxies Spear to the East Upper Cities while Galathale set out towards the West Upper City wearing his Mandalorian armor, with charges in his pack ready to blow the hell out of Darth Fuerek’s palace. Sneaking into the Palace, Galathale set charges for ten minutes and as he was leaving he was confronted by Darth Fuerek, an occurrence which he had already foreseen. Darth Fuerek wielded his lightsaber, while Galathale wielded his fists, knowing that he would have to overcome the evil boy single-handedly. The two entered a fight and Galathale throughout the fight had the upper hand, giving Fuerek blows here and there. The fight entered the grand-deck, and Darth Fuerek finally landed a blow, however, the blow only damaged Galathale’s jetpack. Galathale sensed that he had only a few seconds to go until the whole building blew. He then gave Fuerek his last words, saying that he took from him the only thing that had meaning in life. Galathale then ran and jumped off the balcony as the whole building exploded engulfing Fuerek in flames.

Galathale fell through the depths of Coruscant. He attempted to activate the Jetpack, but it was damaged. He then reached out for the force and landed on the ground on his two feet unscathed. The force had guided him and he had learned the ability of Force Land, the extraordinarily rare ability of a force user to be able to jump from extreme heights and land unscathed. Galathale looked up at the burning West District. The charges which Galathale had used were extremely powerful and they destroyed the whole upper half of the building, along with the neighboring Sith Barracks. Galathale then began to hear planet-sirens and he knew that the city was in emergency alert. Galathale also knew that it was time for the escape to be put into motion. Calling back to the main base, Galathale told Janica to ready the ships and to prepare for Plan Escape. Janica stated that Plan Destruction had also succeeded and the Galaxies Spear was in route to the Bunker at that very moment. Galathale then told Janica to contact Commander Jarek and tell him that the Escape was in process, and that he had to get his men ready on the spot. When Galathale entered the Bunker, everyone was ready to go. Galathale boarded his Reborn Phoenix while the rest of the crew boarded their ships. Galaxies Spear and the Reborn Phoenix then set out towards the Republic base, as the rest of the resistance set out towards the waypoint Galathale had provided for them. Upon landing near the Republic resistance hideout, Galathale took Commander Jerek to his Reborn Phoenix, while the Galaxies Spear took the eight Republic pilots who did not have ships of their own. The Galaxies Spear, Reborn Phoenix and the eleven other ships then set out for the waypoint. However, on their way out of Coruscant, the Spear, Phoenix and Republic ran into a convoy of Sith fighters. The battle lasted for a short time, and then the Resistance made their escape without any casualties.

Upon entering the waypoint the ships went into hyperspace. Quite oddly Kelin Rand was missing. The crew were in awe, for the only possibility was that Rand slipped off the Galaxies Spear purposely during the pickup of Janica or the Republic Remnant. Everyone wondered, however, why he would leave. Miras’ opinion was that he either bailed out on them or could have been a spy, possibly divulging the location of the Republic Remnant on Ryloth. Dace denounced this idea, saying that Kelin had been more then helpful during Plan Destruction and had saved the whole crew’s life. Galathale then said even if Kelin was a spy, he would not have enough information to go on, since he had not yet divulged where exactly on Ryloth they were to go and for that matter Galathale did now know himself. The squad of ships entered hyperspace and were ready to enter what would be the beginning of a great odyssey.

THE RYLOTH YEARS - 1530 – 1531

The thirteen ships arrived on Ryloth to a snowy wasteland of junk and broken down buildings. Somewhere in this colossal rubble was a Republic hideout. Galathale used the force to look for this hideout, but even with his incredible sense the way was not clear. Commander Jerek, as sly and slick as he was in his younger days, knew the way and Galathale with Jerek’s help piloted to the destination and entered the Republic’s underground base after getting permission from Republic Control Level 3. The base existed deep underground in the interior of the colossal underground tunnels which served as transportation in an age millennia before.

When Galathale arrived at the base, he noticed that the Republic Resistance was not large enough to be considered an able force. Nevertheless, General Peritus Nidius, leader of the base, was ecstatic at receiving the extra thirteen ships and men. Dace Gravinar greeted General Nidius with a strange resenting tone. Apparently, the pair knew each other well and had long ties of dislike for each other that originated sixty years before. The General asked his questions of Dace and Galathale, while Galathale asked his own questions. Apparently the base only held a total of 1,400 Republic soldiers/pilots and such, but there was a shortage of fighter class ships (only 14 Republic Starfighters.) On top of this the base was supposedly the main foundation for the Republic Resistance, and what was left of the Republic consisted of no planetary fleet, rather only 3 Corellian Corvettes.

Galathale knew something had to be done. First he asked General Nidius if he was able to scan the lands above for ship parts and such. Unfortunately, the local area did not hold much useful material, and the men could not cover enough land without freezing to death, and it was not safe for the starships to scan the lands above because they could easily be identified by the Sith Warships in space who scanned the planets surface, along with probe droids, hired to sniff out their location. Galathale then asked the General if he had any creatures which could allow the men to travel farther in a shorter time. He was told that the incredible change in climate over the past 4 years due to the destruction of planetary heating gave them no such option. Galathale then had an idea. He knew Janica was a master at DNA construction, repair and study, and he knew that with her skills he would be able to replicate the genomes of the creature he was looking for. However, there was no such technology available. Also there were fourteen soldiers who had been deformed due to a blaze at the destruction of the Republic Cruiser Liberator, and the Bothans had yet to receive the shipment of medical components. Janica could repair their deformations if she had the equipment, but none was available.

Galathale and Dace did a lot of talking over the next few days. Galathale asked Dace the reason for the coldness between Nidius and himself. Dace told Galathale the story. Dace’s grandfather was a great General of the Republic, but died unexpectedly in mid-term. The position of General was supposed to be given to Carthus Gravinar, Dace’s father, yet for some strange reason it was given to Mias Nidius, father of Peritus Nidius. Carthus Gravinar lived out the rest of his career as High Colonel. His son inherited ranks of both Navy and Army ingesta and became Commander. Dace, however, had always wanted to be more. Galathale told Dace that he could not allow the feelings of past foul deeds to interfere with the incredible importance of preserving the Republic.

It was a few days later that Galathale was told of the Bothan Movement which aided the Republic Remnants with materials from their base at the Carto Asteroid Belt. This base was once the home of a great colossal ship construction plant. Since the Sith had taken control of the Galaxy, however, the Bothans had ceased construction activities, even though such an action could go unnoticed with their cloaking generators. Galathale knew he had to make contact with these Bothans. With help from General Nidius, Galathale was given the waypoint and passcodes to the Bothan Space Station. He decided right then and there, he needed to travel to the Bothan Construction Plant and do business with the Bothans to try and get them to aid the secret Republic base. Herron Cardis, Delbacca and Miras Valhara offered a hand, and Levinith gave Galathale the Galaxies Spear. Levinith wanted to help the base get off its feet, and he knew that he would not need the Galaxies Spear to do such a thing. After the Galaxies Spear was emptied of its materials, Galathalious, Miras, Delbacca and Herron piloted themselves towards the Carto Asteroid Belt. Once the pass codes were authorized, the Galaxies Spear made it’s way easily through the asteroids towards the construction plant. Upon Meeting the Bothans, Galathale made the needs of the Rebel hideout known.

MATERIALS HE SAID HE NEEDED
[blockquote] - DNA-Construction Comp System Mark 5-da (INCLUDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)
- ION-Cannon Component’s
- A large shipment of Carbine Blaster Weapons (Preferably Republic Made) [/blockquote]

The Bothans required payment upfront, which Galathale did not expect. He thought that his thousand-year-old bank account would have expired over the years, but he checked his balance anyway. Amazingly, with his PRO-INTERST contract, a venture he had hoped to work a millennia previously, Galathale had managed to earn billions and billions of dollars. This meant that he could not only purchase some shipments, but he could purchase a whole small planet. With the news Galathale asked the Bothans how much it would cost for him to pay the Bothans to join the Republic cause and to shift their order of operations base from the Asteroid Bank, to the undertunnels of Ryloth. The Bothan leader, Cly’dus Tel’ura, not knowing Galathale’s balance stated his price. Galathale agreed and the two made an agreement. Tel’ura admitted that the moving of such a gigantic base of construction could take months, and since they were already waiting on shipments of Medical Droids and Component Systems for the Republic already, possibly even longer. Galathale agreed to this and stated to Cly’dus that he knew Cly’dus would do what was right. Galathale knew this, because somehow, the force had told him that the Bothans were needed. Galathale left the waypoint and went back to the Ryloth undertunnels trusting the Bothan leader would not divulge the secret location of the Republic Base.

Galathale then returned to the base and told General Nidius the news. The General quite ecstatic, yet nervous, feared that such a large movement of starships and material might catch the eyes of the Sith and probes around the galaxy looking for the Republic Remnant. Galathale, however, sensed that the force had guided him, and that he had made the correct decision. The next few days were spent involved in a lot of organization. Galathale organized a sit down with General Nidius, Dace Gravinar and Commander Jerek, during which Galathale asked what had become of the Jedi during all the chaos of the galaxy.

THE JEDI

Apparently the Jedi had all disappeared in the great purge that Sith Lord Darth Malus had put in place. Many of the Jedi were killed, while many others left the Jedi practice and took to hiding to escape death. Unfortunately, many other Jedi, poisoned in the mind, allied themselves with Darth Malus joining his murderous cause. Darth Malus was one of the most powerful lords ever to practice the Sith arts. Every Jedi master of the Council on Coruscant had attempted to negotiate with him, but all were killed. Only one Jedi Master of the Coruscant Council remained, the wise and powerful Jedi Master Kerovidian. Kerovidian was the only one in the Galaxy who knew of Darth Malus’ weakness and he was the only Jedi to fight against the great Sith Lord and survive. The fight, legend stated, resulted in Kerovidian losing his left arm as well as part of his face. Shortly after his famed fight with Lord Malus, Kerovidian disappeared and was never heard from again. Many said that Kerovidian was too scared to join the Republic once more and hid somewhere in a dark part of the galaxy, rumored to be Nar Shaddaa. Many others, however, said that he was killed later by Sith assassins. Either way he was the highest ranking Jedi to enter the war, and the loss of him ended all knowledge of existing Jedi. Darth Malus holds command in his colossal sized Sith Warship, the Chaotic Turmoil, guarded by a fleet of Sith ships that the current Remnant force could not even hope to penetrate.

-------------------------

A few months past with little action or excitement. Unfortunately, a Sith fleet arrived over the Ryloth sector and the Base had to remain on security alert, with no one leaving the base. The fleet left after scanning the planets surface and finding nothing. During the few months of waiting, there was not a great list of things to do. Galathale, Miras , Commander Jarek and General Nidius began to institute strict, yet worthwhile training for the troops and pilots. However, the Bothans eventually came through, and by the fourth month they had begun to shift their center of operations from the asteroid belt to the under tunnels of Ryloth. With the Bothans came the orders the Republic had asked for.

THE ORDERS

[blockquote]-- DNA-Construction Comp System Mark 5-da (INCLUDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)
-- ION-Cannon Component’s
-- A large shipment of Carbine Blaster Weapons (Preferably Republic Made)
-- 6 Republic Starfighters (Salvaged)
-- Medical Modulation System (Parts A-Z8)
-- Metal Meltdown Machine (For melting down junk metal into useful remoldable metal) useful in the creation of starship hulls. [/blockquote]

With the joining of the Bothans, many things began to change and much was achieved.. The Ion Cannon components were installed, giving the Base their first real set of defenses. The six salvaged Republic Starfighters that the remnant had ordered, while not completely operational, nevertheless helped with the shortage of Republic ships.

The Medical Modulation system was used almost immediately after its installation. Janica, skilled in the use of medical reformation and computer systems, helped the dozen or so soldiers who were injured and deformed to regain medical specified limbs and lost body fragments. Thus the soldiers became fully operational once more. The DNA-Construction Comp Mark 5-da system, allowed Janica to create bio-initiated Snow Tauntauns who were more adapted to coldness than were the Hoth variety. While the process of creation took a few weeks, it inevitably allowed for the scanning of the lands above. The Tauntauns were designed with incredible strength and the use of the Tauntauns allowed Republic personnel to move over the lands above undetected to pick up valuable junk parts. The salvaged parts from the junklands above, along with the Metal Meltdown Machine, allowed for the creation of more Republic Starfighters, gathering of materials for Republic clothing, and the creation of basically any metal based component needed. In Sector V of Ryloth, the Republic scouts were able to salvage heavy starship class material. This material was applied to the Corellian Corvettes and aided them by…

HOW THE JUNKYARD MATERIAL AIDED THE CORELLIAN CORVETTES

[blockquote]1. Changed the Corvettes from light shielding to heavy shielding and almost impenetrable high-zion energized deflector shields

2. Weapons systems were added to the Corvettes, making them incredibly deadly. Specifically the Corvettes were equipped with as many weapons systems as they could hold. This was under the orders of General Nidius, who felt that he needed the Corvettes to serve as small yet devastatingly offensive opponents to Sith starships. Also these Corvettes could serve as protection for the Republic Capital Class starship which was under plans for construction

3. The Engines were restructured, allowing the Corvettes to travel twice their intended speed. [/blockquote]

During all this, General Nidius set up a deal with the Bothans to have them create a Capital Class Republic starship based upon the plans the Republic had held on their main computer systems. There were no remaining Capital Class starships due to the great war that the Sith waged against the Republic. This Star Destroyer size ship was to be constructed in the undertunnels, which had more than enough room for the construction operation. However, for it to be made in time, the Republic had to lend a hand. On top of this, General Nidius ordered the creation of a hundred Republic Starfighters. During the next few weeks, a great deal of ship components and material shipments were dropped on the surface of Ryloth, where the Bothans would pick them up and carry them to the underground for creation of Republic Starfighters, and for the great Capital Class Ship “The Republic’s Return.”

A few weeks later, Galathale and Janica managed to hack into the Sith Control Network, which basically held all the Sith stored records that were made via space. The network’s barrier codes, however, would change every two days and hacking back into it once the window closed would be nearly impossible. Thus Janica and Galathale attempted to gather as much material from the network database as they could in that short span of time. After the window had closed, the Republic had what they needed. All formations of the Sith fleet, along with the location of the main Capital Class convoys were mapped. They also found out that apparently the Sith starship Reclaimer was holding as prisoners a good two hundred highly ranked Republic Officials and soldiers. Among those two hundred Republic Officials and soldiers was Admiral Holirdax, the Admiral of the old Republic Fleet. Admiral Holirdax was very young for his position, and he was a brilliant battle strategist. Holirdax had not been able to help the Republic for most of the war because three months into it his ship was badly damaged and crash-landed on a nearby planet. The Admiral and his crew were thought to have been killed in the crash, but apparently he wasn’t. The Reclaimer held prisoner the most important of the Republic officials, while normal Republic soldiers were held prisoner in camps across the system. The most important Republic officials were sent to the “Reclaimer” so that the Sith could withdraw from them as much vital information about the Republic Remnant as possible. The Reclaimer’s prisoners were scheduled for elimination in the next two weeks. General Nidius saw this as a possibility to add more good minds and bodies to the Republic Remnant. However, after much thought, the General had come to the conclusion that there was no way to enter the Sith Destroyer without being detected as members of the Republic. He knew, however, that if they could somehow manage to steal at least two Sith Transports along with landing codes, they would be able to land on the Starship. Luckily, with the recent hack into the Sith computer, Janica and Galathale had managed to come across some Sith landing codes. There remained, however, the task of stealing two Sith Transports. It just so happened that Galathale and Janica had also managed to track the Sith mining lanes, and in a nearby system, Sith Transports were in the process of transporting precious ore metals from the mining colony on the nearby planet to their Sith Destroyer “The Destilantia.” Galathale offered to lead a team to capture the two Transports. Levinith, Miras, Janica and Herron also offered to lend a hand.

The Reborn Phoenix and the Galaxies Spear led a small team of Republic Pilots to capture the transports, but the crew of the transports resisted completely, offering no surrender. After the transports were securely captured and landed in the undertunnels of Ryloth, Galathale, Dace Gravinar, General Nidius and Ardan Jarek then began to plan the rescue of the Republic Officials held aboard The Reclaimer.

THE PLAN

After the transports landed on the Sith Destroyer, a small task force dressed in Sith clothing would transport what they would say were large storage containers of food to the prisoners. The storage containers, however, would truly contain weapons for the prisoners. For this plan to work, a diversion was needed. Dace Gravinar suggested that the Corellian Corvettes that had been upgraded to be a devastating opposition to destroyer class ships, along with a medium squadron of Republic ships, engage “The Reclaimer” to put all staff aboard the Destroyer on alert, making them less able to fend off an internal battle. This idea was immediately agreed upon by General Nidius.

After a few days the plans were set and the Republic had manufactured enough Sith uniforms for a small crew to infiltrate the “Reclaimer”. The only thing left to decide was who would run and work with the task force. General Nidius decided that Dace Gravinar and Galathale run the team.

TEAM 1
[blockquote]Galathale – Team Leader (Tractor Beam Deactivation)
Herron Cardis – 2nd (1st Transport)
3 Republic Soldiers (2nd Transport & 2 Pilots) [/blockquote]

TEAM 2
[blockquote]Dace Gravinar – Team Leader (2nd Transport)
Levinith Farblaster - 2nd (2nd Transport)
2 Republic Soldiers (Pilots) [/blockquote]

SPACE OFFENSIVE
[blockquote]Commander Jerek - Leader of Offensive
Miras Valhara - Second in Command[/blockquote]

The next day, the Transports set out along with the two teams. The plans went well, both teams were granted clearance and the Sith had no clue what was coming their way. The two teams then made their way through the corridors and into Prisoner Block 33-7A. Galathale, however, split from the group to turn off the tractor beam. As the teams entered the prisoner block, they were asked for secondary clearance codes, which they had fabricated. However, before the Sith had a chance to check the codes, the Destroyer went on emergency alert. Ardan Jarek and his squadron had entered Sith Space and begun their attack on the Destroyer from four sides. In space, Sith-fighters were sent to counter-attack the Republic Remnant. The battle waged on as Dace, Levinith, the Republic Soldiers and Herron eliminated the officers guarding the prisoners and shut down security. They then unpacked the crates they were carrying to reveal two hundred carbines. The team then began to free the prisoners, taking only minutes to free the prisoners who were weary from torture and malnourishment, but nevertheless ready to leave, an unshaven Admiral Holirdax among them. He immediately took action, helping to unpack the Carbines. After the carbines were distributed, the teams and the rescued prisoners left for the corridors. As the fierce space battle was waged above, the escaped prisoners along with the two rescue teams, encountered troops in the corridors who were stunned to encounter enemy resistance so fast. With little time to put up resistance, the Destroyer was then put on double alert and all forces were sent to the Prison Deck Corridor. However, the escaped prisoners were armed, and with the help of their rescuers there was little resistance that they could not handle. The prisoners made it to the shuttles, and Galathale, who had accomplished the easy task of turning off the Tractor beam, joined them once more. The shuttles lifted off and entered hyperspace. Commander Jarek then ordered the destruction of the “Reclaimer” and it exploded into debris. The squadron entered hyperspace shortly after.

Once in the transport, Admiral Holirdax thanked Galathale’s team for the rescue. He then said he had no idea that the Republic was even still in existence, much less planning prisoner escapes. Galathale told Holirdax all about the Remnant and its resistance. Once the group landed, they were more than happy to walk into a friendly and warm base. Many captains and commanders were among the prisoners, and they all had to be accounted for. By the time everyone was identified, it had become apparent that the prisoners, for the most part, were high ranking and important members of the Republic. The Remnant had hit its largest stroke of luck, and they hoped that the luck would not end there.

As a few weeks past, the rescued began to become much more healthy, and the construction of “The Republic’s Return” was going well. However, one day, the scanners began to detect a large number of approaching ships. The base went on emergency alert and all soldiers came to their action stations. General Nidius contacted the approaching fleet. The fleet answered, stating that they were the Smugglers Guild and had come with Kelin Rand and their leader Tidus Solo to help the Republic end the sickness of the Galaxy that was called the Sith. General Nidius did not know if this was a trap or trick, but Galathale trusted the force, and believed that Kelin Rand had good intentions. Thus the small smuggler fleet was given clearance codes to land in the under-tunnels below. When Galathale entered the landing section of the under-tunnels, he saw a sight that he had not seen in over a millennia. The ancient Millennium Falcon had returned, and walking from its landing ramp came none other than the ancestor of Han Solo, the great and masterful Tidus Solo himself, accompanied by Kelin Rand. The three talked much of what had happened. Kelin told Galathale of how he left the crew to meet Tidus Solo, knowing that he could convince him to join the Republics cause. Tidus was the brother of Jedi Master Ravias Solo of the Dantooine council, who had gone missing. Galathale was overwhelmed with joy, knowing all along that Kelin, while incredibly dark minded, would not betray someone whom he had sworn allegiance to.

With the added help, the construction of “The Republic’s Return” finally reached completion. General Nidius felt that since the Capital ship was ready to fly, the smartest thing to do would be to take the Remnant to space. The reason being that the base was becoming more and more populated since its original inhabitance, and the possibility of its discovery by the Sith was much more likely than it was before. If the Sith were to discover the Ryloth base, escape would take too long, and the Remnant could fall apart in even a medium sized invasion. However, if the Remnant were to take to space as a fleet, and gather at the far reaches of the galaxy, they would have a much better chance of survival. Galathale, Dace Gravinar, and the others agreed. Soon the Republic Remnant had taken to space and set up fleets in sectors far outside the Outer Rim.

The next few weeks were devoted to Republic organization efforts. The Republic reorganized their ranks seeing this as their first priority. In this reorganization, Dace Gravinar was promoted to Colonel under Admiral Holirdax. Galathale had originally suggested this to General Nidius, who disapproved, but he got more sympathy from Admiral Holirdax. Commander Jerek was promoted to Captain and leader of Starfighter command. Miras enlisted in the Republic herself, and due to past experience and outstanding skills, she was given the rank of Wing commander directly under Jerek. Meanwhile, Galathale bonded with best friends Tidus Solo and Kelin Rand at the Sabaac table. Galathale also gained the friendship of the Republic crew, to whom he would tell joke after joke. Over the next few months, the hacking and splicing of Sith Transmissions began. The Republic began to send secret messages to networks all across the Galaxy, urging the people of the Galaxy to end the rule of their oppressors, and to join the Remnant. As a result, people of the Galaxy began to reach out to the Republic, asking to join their cause. In this process, small convoys would meet up at vantage points in the galaxy with groups of Republic sympathizers. These sympathizers would join the Republic in the fight against the Sith, and many even enlisted in the Republic itself. All seemed well, and before long the personnel of “The Republic’s Return” had more then doubled. Galathale, however, knew that the Republic needed Jedi to enter the cause, for without the Jedi, the Sith would dispel any resistance the Republic Remnant sent at them.

Galathale told General Nidius of his belief that Jedi were needed to help fight for their cause, and General Nidius, for the first time, had a long chat with Galathale. He asked Galathale of his heritage, and how he became so powerful. Galathale told him of his ties to the force and about his parents. Nidius was more than interested, and the two of them spoke of future plans. Nidius told Galathale that before the war began, the Republic had instituted a system called “The Remnant Unification.” It was a code that could be sent across the Galaxy and decoded by only Republic run computers. The message, would give the location and presence of the what was left of a large centralized Republic force, allowing small Remnant forces, such as the one Galathale rescued on Coruscant, to join up with the main Republic force once again. Galathale asked if there were enough remnants out in the Galaxy to be called back to serve and be a big enough force to even stand a chance against the enemy. Nidius admitted that their were hundreds and hundreds of remnants across the Galaxy, some with pieces of the fleet, some with perhaps even Jedi on their side. Galathale asked Nidius why he had never divulged this to anyone before, and Nidius told him that the only person he trusted was Galathale. He also told him that Dace Gravinar was not to be trusted, and that before long he could serve as a threat, because of the hatred he still held for him and for the crimes or misunderstandings of their forefathers. Galathale understood where Nidius came from, and for the first time began to sympathize with him.

That night, Galathale, and most likely the rest of the ship, awoke to the sound of a huge explosion. Apparently something gigantic had hit or damaged “The Republic’s Return,” causing the ship to loose its primary and secondary power. The lights went out and Galathale had lost his sight, but luckily he was trained to work in darkness. He entered the corridors and heard troops rallying past him. Then a lightsaber was ignited, a red blade, an evil blade, a Sith’s blade. Galathale was then shocked by a wave of force lightning from the saber wielder. The pain was excruciating and Galathale fell unconscious.

Galathale woke suspended in the air, force chained in a small damp room. He was in pain, but worse than that, all his senses were barely functioning. A figure entered the room robed in black, it was a female, who had quite a menacing figure, with a ghostly white face. Galathale asked how he had been captured so easily. The female figure answered that with help from General Nidius, Galathale’s location and capture were quite easy. Galathale could not believe his ears and called the figure a liar. The female voice answered that she was not lying about Nidius. Galathale then demanded that the figure reveal itself. The robed figure revealed herself to be Darth Anarcis. She was a Zabrak Sith Lord, quite pale white all across the body, and scarred on the face. She told Galathale everything.

General Nidius was working alongside the Sith all along. His father was a Sith spy and gained General Gravinar’s position with use of skilled manipulation. The late General Nidius enjoyed his position of power and many times used it for his own personal gain. This position was passed to his son, Peritus. Many years before the war, a young man by the name of Malus gave Peritus an offer he could not refuse:, the position of Supreme Commander of the most powerful force in the galaxy, to hold all the riches one could ever dream of. Of course Peritus, a man who had inherited a lust for power, agreed, but he was given a duty in respectful exchange. General Nidius was to give Malus as much information about the Republic as possible, their space lanes, weaknesses, defense locations, everything. He would help ensure that the Republic lay on the loosing end of the battle, if ever one were to occur. Afterwards, Malus gained power, and the Sith developed into a incredibly powerful force. With the Sith’s help and Nidius’ diversionary tactics against the Republic, the Sith had finally managed to yield the Republic’s collapse. This collapse led what remained of the Republic to become scattered and leaderless. Thus the Republic forces scattered across the Galaxy into small remnants. The Sith Lords, many of them as they now were, knew that their fight was not over, so Malus confided in Nidius once more. The Sith knew that there were enough Republic Remnants in the Galaxy to pose a threat to their future plans. Nidius was to organize all the remnants together as best he could so the Sith could send a large enough force to take care of them once and for all. This calling of all the remnants was as Nidius referred to it earlier, “The Remnant Unification.” This Remnant Unification was to happen in the next few days, Anarcis said, and when it did, the Republic would be obliterated.

Galathale couldn’t believe his ears, Nidius was a traitor, and at that a horribly wretched traitor. Galathale then asked Darth Anarcis what she wanted from him. Anarcis stated that Nidius told her about Galathale’s past, and about his connection to the force. It just so happened that Anarcis was in charge of Malus’ operation to cut the Jedi off from the force, and since Galathale did indeed seem like a threat to the Sith, it was only reasonable that that very threat be taken away. Thus Galathale was there to have the force drained out of him, and to be put away for good so he could not cause any more trouble then he already had. Anarcis’s sickly ritual would take away Galathale’s very soul, and if it succeeded, the power would be transferred to Anarcis, making her more powerful than ever before. Galathale surmised that Anarcis had done this before and Anarcis confirmed it, stating that she had practiced the process on countless patients, most of which died in the process. Every time, she had gained more and more power. “You cannot even begin to understand the power I can yield,” she told him.

Her statement was all too true, and the ritual began. Galathale’s knew immediately that something deep and important was being taken from him, and the bizarre motion of events began to scar him emotionally, physically and above all spiritually. As the monstrously painful process took place, Galathale began to loose his connection to the force. He began to feel as if a large part of him had died. As the pain ensued, Galathale began to slowly move out of consciousness. Anarcis continued, but stopped before Galathale’s life was taken. She told Galathale that she would not cause his death for someone else has plans for him. Galathale asked whom that was, and Anarcis said it was Darth Malus’s new apprentice Darth Fuerek. Galathale said that that was impossible, that he had killed Fuerek. But Anarcis said the power of the Dark side gave Fuerek life, but Fuerek lived in constant pain because his skin was nearly burned off completely and now remained crackled and decayed. Fuerek was still in the recovery process, but once it was complete, Anarcis said, he would be more powerful then possibly even Malus’ first apprentice, “me.” Anarcis said the hate of the dark side feeds the power of those who are enlightened to the darkness, and Fuerek has an incredible amount of hate for Galathale feeding his power and lust for revenge beyond reason. Anarcis said that the talking was to end, for Galathale was to be her prisoner for some time, until Darth Fuerek was reborn. Anarcis in a sullen, sarcastic tone, told Galathale to enjoy his stay: then she left.

Galathale had been taught by his godmother how to escape in sticky situations, however, he was force chained, so such a feat would be more difficult. Galathale knew that if he attempted to escape the ship, he would fail miserably. It was then that Galathale realized he would need help. He also knew that he had to warn his friends before the whole Republic gathered, and was destroyed by General Nidius’ evil plans. After hours of failed attempts, Galathale finally escaped from the force chains and unlocked his prison door. He then entered the Prison Block corridors unnoticed. Galathale knew that in order to warn his friends, he needed to enter a room with a communications console. The trip was tough, however, for the aching pain of the Sith ritual made his whole body feel as if it were being burned constantly by molten lava. Galathale limped his way into the ducts and past the guard railing passageway. On his trip he heard a conversation between Sith troops which his ears were not supposed to hear. Apparently, Darth Anarcis left her ship every two weeks to confront her master Malus. Also, Galathale heard from the troops that Darth Anarcis had her old master on board, Jedi Master Jefid-Kin Meerak. Meerak was a member of the Dantooine council, and had been the most enlightened of the group. Apparently, Anarcis held torture sessions each day with Meerak and every day Anarcis would leave Meerak’s cell smiling. Meerak had become a Corellian vegetable, a Sith troop said to another. Galathale knew he could use the help of a Jedi Master, and truly hoped that he was not completely gone. Galathale entered a Com Room and sent a holographic communication to the Galaxies Spear. Galathale knew that most likely the Galaxies Spear crew would not check their HoloComm Messages until it was too late and the Republic would be destroyed, but Galathale had to try. In the message Galathale warned of General Nidius’ treachery and that the Republic had to reveal his evil plans and have him arrested before it was too late. Galathale also told of his intentions to escape the ship, with a “Jedi Master.” He admitted that he would most likely fail, for the ritual performed on him had made him incredibly weak. He also said that such a task could not be achieved until the following week, when Darth Anarcis, Admiral of the current Sith Destroyer, left to meet her master in another star system. Such an escape, he said, would not be possible with a Sith Lord such as Dark Anarcis watching every move with her dark sense of the force. At that the transmission ended, but Galathale realized that Anarcis probably had sensed something wrong already. Galathale then moved back to the prisoner corridor’s and unlocked Meerak’s cell door in hopes of acquiring his assistance. Upon entering the room, however, Galathale realized that Meerak was indeed a Corellian vegetable, and when Galathale attempted communication, Meerak was unable to even respond, or for that matter show any facial expression. However, at that very moment, Anarcis entered the room and shocked Galathale with her force lightning. She continued to shock him until he fell unconscious.

Next thing Galathale knew he was being beaten senseless by Sith troops with Anarcis standing over him. Anarcis then picked him up by the throat and attached him to a coupling-based force fielded cell, one which Galathale knew was inescapable. Once again Galathale passed out with pain and woke up in the extremely uncomfortable cell. A few days past, and Galathale began to lose track of time. Worse was the fact that his condition seemed to get worse and worse, and the Sith ritual began to leave more of an effect on him than it had to begin with. Galathale had also lost much of the keenness in his senses, and his sight was severely impaired. The force field had a sickly effect on him, and Galathale knew he could not stand it much longer. It was then that Kelin Rand burst into the room and shut off the force field generator. Galathale was overwhelmed with happiness, but fell to the floor with weakness. Kelin Rand helped him to his feet stating, “We got your Holo-message, and everything back at the Remnant is fine. Nidius is no longer a problem. We are here to save you.” Once he reached the hallway, Galathale noticed that the whole gang was there. However, things were bad, for the gang was pinned down by Sith troops and they were fighting for their lives.

Those Who Came To Rescue Galathale

[blockquote]Kelin
Miras
Janica
Herron
Delbacca
Levinith
R5-D9
ED-22[/blockquote]

As they finally moved forward, Galathale could hardly speak he was so out of it, but he nevertheless remembered the mindless Jedi who had been tortured to senselessness by Darth Anarcis. Galathale, with what little energy he had in him, spoke, convincing the group to rescue him. Master Meerak could not move and was catatonic, so Delbacca carried him and Galathale on his back. The escape was messy, and Miras and Janica were injured by blaster fire. Luckily, their injuries were not serious. As the gang dragged Galathale and Master Meerak up the ramp, a whole battalion of Sith troops entered the hanger. Levinith made a quick takeoff, but it was too late, a large crash was heard and the Galaxies Spear’s internal power shut down. The ship rocketed down as a fire broke out onboard. The Spear rocketed down to the lands of Nar Shaddaa below, and a large piece of the hull exploded into pieces. Most of the crew were banged around badly from the explosion, and Galathale passed out.

The next thing he knew, Galathale woke up in a dark damp room. A man named Doctor Gias approached him and told him everything. Apparently Galathale and his friends were knocked unconscious from a gas leak in the ship. ED-22 and R5-D9 managed to shut down the gas leak and pilot the ship to the depths of Nar Shaddaa to a black market landing strip. Thus Herron, the first to regain consciousness, escaped the ship and contacted his father’s old physician to help get Galathale and the rest of the crew back on their feet. The Galaxies Spear was in bad shape, and to repair it would require some time. However, Gias told Galathale that he would like to do some tests on him, for he sees that Galathale is very weak, as if some unknown illness had taken over his body. His blood tests turned out drastic and very serious. Galathale told Gias that a crude experimental ritual was performed on him, not admitting it was a Sith’s ritual, and Gias said he could not believe rituals would cause such responses from the blood stream. Either way, Galathale was interested in seeing his friends once more and Gias responded that they felt the same way towards him. The crew was very happy to see Galathale, and told him they thought he had slipped away for good. Galathale asked what happened, and how they ever managed to save him. Herron told the story, stating that they had received his holo-message before it was too late.

Dace, dealt with Nidius, who was clearly guilty after his holo-transmissions were uncovered. Nidius, however, took his own life by putting up too much resistance. He attempted to set off a thermal detonator in the office, thus he had to be shot down. Dace, the highest ranking official in the Republic, took Nidius’ place as General. Afterwards, they couldn’t help but lend a hand to Galathale, so they gave the Galaxies Spear Sith Transmission status and snuck onto the ship posing as smugglers who were dropping off a dangerous Jedi for the Sith. However, once they reached the prisoner bay, there identity was revealed and they had to fight there way to Galathale. Galathale knew the rest of the escape story. Galathale moved to get up, however, he was very weak and had trouble walking. Galathale asked Gias if the others had similar responses, but Gias responded that Galathale had been unconscious for four weeks and none of the others had had those symptoms. Galathale knew it was the Sith torture and ritual which caused his distress, and he feared that this illness would never leave his body. If only he could speak to Master Meerack, Galtahle thought things might be better. The crew told Galathale that the situation was very dangerous and the sooner they left the planet the better. The Sith were looking for the Galaxies Spear’s crew, and on the top of their priority list was Galathale. Herron suggested that they should leave as soon the ship, which was currently under the protection of a black market garage operator that hated the Sith, was repaired. Galathale asked how Master Meerak held up and if he had communicated yet. Unfortunately, the crew told him, he was catatonic and by Gias’ studies it looked as if he would stay that way for some time.

Gias told Galathale that he needed nourishment and should eat as much healthy food as he could to heal his malnourishment. Galathale knew, however, that his weakness came not only from malnourishment, but also from the ritual the Sith had performed on him. This ritual left a scar that as time past, Galathale could feel more and more. This Sith scar, Galathale knew, might never heal and would likely be with him forever. Galathale needed a Jedi’s comfort to assist him, but the Jedi were extinct and who knew if they would be able to heal Galathale’s ailment even if they did exist. His parents on the other hand, were in a Galaxy far away, and to reach them would be nearly impossible, especially since his data pad was on the Reborn Phoenix a few hyperspace trips away. Galathale knew he would be lucky if he were able to escape the planet.

Galathale decided, against the groups wishes, to explore Nar Shaddaa. Galathale knew that rumor had it that Jedi Master Kerovidian had supposedly been hiding out on Nar Shaddda, and in his mind Nar Shaddaa was the best place in the galaxy for any Jedi to hide. The speeder bike still worked, and Galathale explored the streets. Over the next few days, Galathale and Gias spoke, particularly in Cantina’s. Galathale thought Gias was a very interesting character, and Gias felt the same about Galathale. Gias informed him of all the happenings on Nar Shaddaa, while Galathale informed him of his hopes to find the Jed, and of his past.

Gias told Galathale that he had fallen in love with a humanoid droid of his creation. The droid, was given more and more bio-engineered parts, until eventually, she became completely human. This woman, Victori Balitillian, stated that she had only heard the name Jedi twice before. She had first heard in a cantina of a rumor that a criminal-lord had supposedly frozen what Jedi he could find in Carbonite and put them on his wall as pieces of art. Unfortunately, Victori could not remember who the lord was, for she had heard it two years earlier and that part of her memory was lost in the bio-recreation process. The second time she heard the word Jedi spoken was about her and Gias’ daughter. Victori and Gias had a daughter who was visited once by a Jedi. This Jedi saw in her a strong connection to the force, but the Sith threat entered the Galaxy before even the thought of training was revealed. Avlia Balitillian, now six years old, was incredibly intelligent and the rest of the Galaxies Spear crew found themselves attached to the little girl, especially Miras Valhara.

On his way back to the Balitillian’s apartment one night, Galathale runs into Lucienes Fuerekes once more. She rocketed into Galathale on her jetpack as he was flying the swoop, causing him to fall off his swoop and onto the ground. She gave him a few good punches in the gut and face, followed by slamming his face to her feet. Galathale received quite a beating, but was too weak to defend himself. He was not the man he used to be. Luciences saw this and told him to fight back. Galathale told her his dilemma, how his soul had been taken. She then told Galathale that she wanted to kill him for what he did to Fuerek. She said that Fuerek was the killer of her sister and it was her right to take revenge, not Galathale’s. Galathale, however, rebuked her, saying that Libeth was like a mother, while at the same time a wife, and revenge was rightly his as well. Luciences’ last words to Galathale were that he should know that he was a wanted man, that she had seen posters for his capture alive everywhere. Galathale then told her that Fuerk was still alive, but before he could say any more words, Luciences gave him a good blow to the head. Galathale woke up the next morning where he had been knocked out. His pockets were emptied of the few credits he had, and his swoop was missing. Apparently someone had taken all he had while he was unconscious. Galathale limped his way to a transport, and made his way back to Gias’ apartment. Gias healed his wounds the best he could, while the rest of the Gang had a conversation about their doubts of Galathale.

The Gang’s Discussion

The Gang talked of how Galathale was not the man he used to be. They remembered him as one of the most valiant hero’s they had ever met. They once believed that he could be the savior of the Galaxy. They had heard of his connection to the force, and when they captured General Nidius they uncovered his holo-massages, which furthered their belief of Galathale’s importance. In the holo-messages, Nidius called Galathale “Son of powerful Jedi and the only real threat to the Sith” Apparently, Nidius, along with the Sith he had been in contact with, feared Galathale. The group knew that they owed Galathale their lives, but they also know that he owed them his as well for rescuing him from the Sith Destroyer. Galathale, however, was too weak to even fight the easiest of opponents and he was, in a way, useless. The group rethought their situation. They had grown to love Galathale, and agreed that they would stick close to him for as long as they could. Galathale was vulnerable, and the Sith were after him, he would need their help again if he were in danger.

The next few days went quite slowly. Galathale was either helping fix up the Galaxies Spear or was visiting local Cantina’s every day to have Spiced Ale. While at the Cantina’s, Galathale would scout out suspicious people and ask them if they had heard word of any “Jedi.” Unfortunately, he yielded no success. Nevertheless, despite failure, the Cantina, along with conversations there helped to heal part of the weakness and depression Galathale felt inside. Meanwhile, the gang insisted that someone be with Galathale at all times as protection while he was outside Balitillian’s apartment. This furthered Galathale’s relations with each member of the gang, as the alcohol they both consumed spawned conversation and thus a further understanding of each other. Balitillian as always would join Galathale, and the two began to form a very close friendship. One day it was Kelin Rand and Galathale’s turn to have a drink, while the others were at ship-repair duty. During this time, Galathale revealed to Kelin that something drastic had to be done, and that sitting down and waiting for something to happen was a very stupid idea.

The Jedi were the key to the Republic winning the war, and Galathale had to find out if the rumors of Kerovidian hiding on Nar Shaddaa were true. Kelin, who had not been too keen on the Jedi, nevertheless agreed. That night while having themselves some drinks, some Sith troops entered the Cantina looking for trouble. They began to pick on a small group of five Twi’Lek mercenaries. Rand, Twi’lek himself, was quite upset at this, and when the Mercenaries began to shoot at the Sith instigators, Rand jumped in. Galathale, quite upset at the Siths treatment of the Twi’leks, jumped in himself. The situation turned into a bad one, and everyone knew they had to dash, before reinforcements came. Unfortunately, as they left the Cantina, a whole squad of Sith troops were there waiting for them. The next thing they knew, Galathlale, Kelin and the five Twi’Lek mercenaries were being thrown aboard Sith transports, and were transferred to Nar Shaddaa’s maximum security prison “Nar Grantus.” Nar Grantus was called inescapable, and held the most dangerous the galaxy had to offer. Apparently the prison was run by “Lord Jacome Perth,” who was the most powerful criminal lord in the Galaxy. Nar Grantus was not a Sith run institution, but a deal with the Sith allowed anti-Sith beings to be captured and taken to this prison for execution in most cases.

When Galathale, Kelin and the mercenaries reached the prison, they realized the seriousness of their situation. Upon entering they were told that in a few days time, they would be executed for the murder of fine Sith Soldiers. For the time being however, said the prisons warden, “you will become accustomed to the beautiful folk who reside here.”

Galathale was beaten and thrown into his cell, which held a Zabrak male by the name of Sarin Valhutta. Sarin seemed very calm. With a calm voice he told Galathale that no funny business was to occur. Galathale admitted that he couldn’t harm a Nabooian-fly if he wanted too. Sarin asked why and Galathale stated that Sarin would not believe him if he told him. Sarin, however, said he sensed truth and benevolence in Galathale. Galathale did not know whether he should lie or whether to be blunt. Galathale, however, was too tired to lie and told him the truth. He told him of his journey from his home Galaxy to save the Republic, and how a Sith had taken his soul, disconnecting him from the force. Galathale thought Sarin would laugh at his story, but instead, Sarin admitted that he was relieved to feel the presence of another Jedi. Galathale stated that he was not a Jedi, but his parents were. He said the reason for his capture and the Sith ritual was because he was so strong in the force. Sarin told Galathale not to reveal his past to anyone else, for if he did, he would be put inside a block of carbonite by Lord Jacome Perth as a piece of art. At that moment Galathale became astounded, for he then realized that the same Criminal lord who had Jedi frozen in Carbonite as pieces of art, was Jacome Perth, the one whom Sarin spoke of. Galathale continued to press him for information and Sarin admitted that the reason for his imprisonment was that he and his sister Livara had attempted to save their old Jedi master, Master Keldan, from Perth’s Carbonite Art Hall. Master Keldan had been Sarin’s mentor and a father like figure to him and his sister, who were orphans, before they became Jedi Knights. Galathale, had finally met the first Jedi that could speak, and this was of great importance. Galathale asked why Sarin did not escape the prison. Galathale told him the seriousness of the situation, how it was incredibly important to save the Jedi and escape the prison. Sarin stated that the prison was truly inescapable, even for a Jedi, and secondly, every prisoner who was not set for execution, was fitted with “Anti-Escape” mechanisms that would explode if the prisoner were to get too close to escape. Even if they were to escape the prison, to break into Jacome Perth’s fortress would require an army. Galathale asked Sarin if he had heard of Master Kerovidian. Unfortunately, Sarin did not know anymore then Galathale did.

The next few days Galathale spent getting to know the prisoners. Apparently their was a tournament to arise over the next few days which would serve as “the only entertainment the prisoners had”. A prisoner, picked at random, would be shot and filled with adrenalins and stimulants, and thus this stage of fury would usually lead to the prisoners escape. From then on it was a game to see how long the “Enraged” prisoner could last before being destroyed. The pick was based upon prisoner number, and was calculated randomly by a computer.

PLEASE NOTE THE SPEED AND PACE OF THE WRITING CHANGES HERE. AS I STATED BEFORE, I AM IN THE VERY EARLY STAGES OF PRODUCTION, AND MOST OF THIS WILL CHANGE.

Galathale is chosen to be injected with the stimulants, and with them he becomes extremely agile, aggressive and violent. He's not a diseased zombie anymore, but a terribly devastating foe like he was before the Sith ritual scarred him. With his new strength, he manages to escape the prison with the Jedi Twins Livara and Sarin, along with Kelin and the Twi’Lek smuggler group. He tells Kelin and the rest of the Galaxies Spear crew to leave the Planet, for he has business of his own, and it will only be easier for the Sith to catch him if they are with him.
