	This Thread has been approved by the Mods to be used for the sole purpose of planning out a new colaborative epic story that will take place post- LotF. The members of the colabortive are: Flowerlady canadianjedimama jadesaber75 THE_PIED_PIPER Lurkers, of course, can't be stopped, but remember this is the planning thread. The story, once begun, will be posted in the Beyond Board. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fellow Jagateers...I'm hoping tomorrow to have some of my ideas thrown out on here....Then we can start planning away... 	Okay…Here is what I’ve sketched out as somewhat as a premise for this… All of this is negotiable, of course… Possible spoilers below....... This story will take place in 46 ABY and will be about how Jag became Emperor and how the IKs were formed from a split within the Jedi Order. It is a speculation fic that will be as much drama as it is romance. The Politics... I like some of the theories that are floating out there about how the IK’s begin, many of them coming from you guys. Which was one reason I asked you to join me in this venture. I would like to see a lot of political squabbling between Jag, Daala and the Jedi Order. Remember that after the end of Invincible, the JO was its own entity. But I wonder how long Daala would really have that? I don’t think she is content to be just CoS Daala…in this I’d like to see her be more devious (true to character?) than we saw her in LotF. She has the galaxy now, which is exactly what she always wanted. However…..not totally. The Jedi, the hated Jedi, have a handpicked Grand Moff, who will not let her completely swallow the galaxy whole. I’d like us to develop the politics around this idea. One thing I see happening is the Jedi being pulled between the two. Some of the Jedi see through Daala’s peace, while others thinks she the greatest thing since baked bread. Luke is stuck in the middle. Jaina who in the years since had been promoted to master and sits on the Council is the wife of that hand-picked Grand Moff. I love political intrigue and I see all sorts of possibilities. Now for the birth of the IKs… Once everything comes down to it the Jedi split. Jaina, Kyp (because I think it would be highly unlikely he’d ever support Daala) and Valin Horn are at great odds with Luke who thinks he may have been wrong about Daala, but still doesn’t trust her. Ben supports the GA totally even if he doesn’t like Daala as CoS. I threw Valin in there because I like the idea that we could bring in father/son conflict… And that his fiancée is Wyn Fel…I loved that idea from Kick’s story….Fly Well Assassination Plot!!! Now here’s the biggest kicker….Zekk. Zekk was picked up by pirates after he went EV. He doesn't remember who he was or that he was a Jedi... He takes on a new ID and works on the fringe as a Bounty Hunter. Making a name for himself... He is hired by one of the Moffs to assassinate our beloved Jaggie… He will have another name, but ironically is only a single name...he never takes a last name..., which will keep our non-lurkers…HeHe… guessing… My idea is that he will eventually, over the story, realize who he is and what he is. We can work on this though. But he does almost succeed....... As for romance…. Well of course, J/J….duh The Valin/Wyn ship….I love this idea, Kick We'll just have to come up with a good idea for back story of how they met. I’d like to see some romance for Ben….an OC which we can create for him….Sorry Jys… .(unless you guys want to pair him with Jys Horn.) Zekk and another OC (one of his fellow pirates who is the granddaughter of Imperial Inquisitoner Valin Draco…..) See where I’d like to take this…….. Well what do you think? I know it’s rough, but I want us all to have a go at building this story…I think that’s what makes the Charon_Force’s NJO fics so good. We as the colab have equal say in the story. I think that is so freaking perfect that I don't even have words for it Sara. Now for the birth of the IKs… Once everything comes down to it the Jedi split. But leaving the Order to serve the Empire? Kyp Durron? Let me think on that. I think we would have to have some pretty powerful internal POV from him. I'm not saying it can't be well done, I'm just saying. It could be considered too much of a conflict for her to remain on it and be Mrs. Emperor Fel. So, she leaves the Council and starts the IK's. Maybe even in response to an attempt on Jag's life?
