	I'm not much of a writer, or even a creative thinker, so I could use a bit of help with my fan fiction. I don't want my work to be the same old same old, so I wrote many different versions of it. I am looking for assistance in writing, corrections of the mundane, warnings on overused ideas, and criticism. My story is called "Twilight of the Force", a play on "Twilight of the Gods" in Norse mythology. The central character is Fen Ris'ulfr, an Echani warrior. Characters who have been present in every version of the story are Master Plo Koon, Val Kaire(Fen's love interest), and Emperor Palpatine. The original story I wrote revolved around Fen being an infantryan in Project RAGNAROK, one of Palpatine's many special forces units. The Next version would be Fen simply being a run of the mill Stormtrooper, who would come across the Holocron of Darth Revan, learning of the Force. Later versions had him as an orphaned child from the Clone Wars taken in by Palpatine as a Captian America-esque super fighter. The most recent version of his tale was Fen being the son of an Echani Warrior, then kidnapped by Palpatine and taken to become an Imperial Shadow Guard. Fen's character I tried to base on myself, in personality anyway, so he would be three dimensional, not some 2-D pawn. Each story ended up with Fen becoming a Neophyte Jedi, trained under Plo Koon, and eventually joined either the New Jedi Order, or emassing an Echani Army in the Unknown regions. I know a lot of Mary Sue characters exist, so I tried to make Fen a bit more real. Sort of an Ichigo Kurosaki,Zayne Carrick-style character. Ichigo is good at what he knows, but not so much in everything else. Zayne just gets by with luck and cunning. I could use some ideas, criticism, and anything else you can offer. 	My story is called "Twilight of the Force", a play on "Twilight of the Gods" in Norse mythology. That totally made my day. I love Norse mythology -- and Wagner's Ring Cycle. Götterdämmerung is one of my favourite operas. It seems to me, The_Phenomenon7, that what you're looking for is a beta -- an editor and general idea bouncer who can help you a lot with your fanfics. The Beta Reader Index is worth checking out; there's a listing of betas you can contact for all three eras. While your at it, you might also want to check out OC Writers Anonymous since you're dealing with original characters. There's a lot of fellow fanfic writers there who can help you out. You might also want to visit The Creche. Basically, you can be paired up with someone, a Master, who can help you out with your writing.
