	I do not own Star Wars , nor any of the characters, save any OCs that I may introduce... Please Note: This is an Interspecies 'Ship... It involves Jar-jar... ~~ Yousa Is Loved… ~~ Padmé was packing. Her appointment to the Senate had come through yesterday. How can I face the Senate alone? A knock came at the door. “Yousa called for me, your Highness?” Padmé smiled. Sweet and innocent, Jar-jar… “I’m not a Queen anymore, Jar-jar. I served my terms. And I wasn’t willing to damage our constitution just because I am popular political figure.” Jar-jar frowned, which actually looked almost as ridiculous as when he smiled. “Yousa not just popular, Senator. Yousa is loved. Yousa people love yousa because yousa saved them from the machaniques. Mysa people love yousa because yousa honoured Boss Nass and allsa our people.” Yousa is loved… No I am not. I’ll not know love. The person I could have loved is beyond my reach. Padmé frowned but quickly got back to the business at hand. “Jar-jar. I was wondering if I could ask your help again.” “Anything for yousa, Senator. The Gungan Army is ready to help.” Padmé smiled. His actions made him a Gungan General. Of course he assumes I want him to make a call to arms. No. I have a more fitting place for you, my dear friend. A place more suited to your gentle heart. “No Jar-jar. The Army is not needed. I wanted to ask you to join me when I join the Senate, as the Representative of the Gungans of Naboo. You would advise me on issues and would carry my proxy if I should be unable to vote in the Senate.” “Yoursa proxy?” Oops… Senate politics is new to the Gungans. Of course he knows nothing of a proxy vote. “It means that you will be able to cast Naboo’s vote in the Senate if I am not there, Jar-jar.” “Oh… Meesa understand now…” Good… “Will you accept my proposal, Jar-jar?” She turned to see that the Gungan. The goofy creature, always wearing a ridiculous smile was uncharacteristically serious. “Yousa realize thisa vewy important thing among da Gungans, Senator?” Odd… Of course it is serious… What is he talking about? “Yes of course, Jar-jar… Why?” “Well…” Jar-jar turned a deeper shade of brown… My Gods! Is he blushing? What is going on? “Yousa see, Senator. Among da Gungans, when wesa make a pact, wesa gotta ummm… smoochee…” Smoochee??? Of Gods… He means a kiss. She remembered doing that with Boss Nass. “Ummm… Jar-jar, that won’t be necessary.” She knew what his answer would be, but she had to at least try… “Oh but it is. Tis demanded by the Gods it is…” I know… “Okay, Jar-jar…” Please let this be over quick. It was horrible with Boss Nass. I don’t want to hurt Jar-jar, but…” Jar-jar leaned over her, pressing his lips gently to hers. She felt it wash over her then like the ocean waves. A sudden and savage euphoria came over her, heightened by the seasalt flavour of his lips on hers. He’s spectacular. I never would have guessed it. He’s so clumsy about everything else. He wrapped her in his arms with a delicacy that she had never felt before as he continued to kiss her. The kiss had gone beyond a gesture to the Gungans Gods now… It was getting serious. I promised myself that I would find some way to make Obi-wan notice me. I thought he was the one. And yet… She felt a hunger within her. She liked this. She felt safe in his arms… The arms of a creature so different from her… A creature whom could easily have been dismissed as an oaf. She felt safe… and special… and… loved… I could lose myself in this moment forever. And in that moment she started kissing him back, with a savage hunger that obviously surprised Jar-jar, even though he managed to keep his cool for once… The kiss seemed to last forever, but when it ended it had been too short for her. Jar-jar’s whisper echoed in her ear. “Wesa gonna work together on Coruscant, Padmé?” He sounded almost as goofy as before… except… there was tenderness in his voice. And he called me Padmé… He never called me Padmé before now. “Yes, we will, Jar-jar…” Yes… We’ll go to Coruscant, Jar-jar. And outwardly nothing will have changed. But we’ll find our moments, and somehow we’ll make it work. To the hells with propriety and the Senate, my family and Palpatine. I love you Jar-jar… He must have read it in her face because his next words could only have been in response. “Meesa love you too, Padmé…” ~~ ducks and hides Jasper -----signature----- Coiner of the term, Kypocrite... 	Um...wow. I never would have expected it. Padme/Jar-Jar. Very original. Besides the characters, very good job with the writing and Padme's thoughts and such. The whole thing was very well done...and I am still in shock over Padme kissing Jar-Jar. It's almost as creepy as Luke kissing Leia in ESB ...almost.
