	I don't own Star Wars or any of its characters This is a sequel to Yousa is Loved ~~ Yousa is Married “Padmé Naberrie Amidala. Do you take this sentient to be your lawfully wedded husband for all time, as long as the galaxy itself endures?” Here it is. Decision time. Do I really want to do this again? My last marriage ended in disaster with my husband unable to love me, or even to trust me. He is dead now and Vader lives in his place. Darth Vader, whom I hate more then any man alive. My sweet Leia is hidden with Bail on Alderaan, and my dear Luke is hidden with Obi-wan on Tatooine. I gave them up willingly. Some may think me a monster for that, but they are in danger and I would only bring Vader down upon them. Better to let them live their lives not knowing their mother then to have those same lives cut horribly short by their father’s blade. I returned to Naboo in secret after the funeral. Only a select few know that I live: the Queen, my family… and this person whom I love. I do not know what drew me to him at first. Perhaps it was his playful grin, or even his clumsy words of affection. Many people see him as a bumbling oaf, but he has shown me who he truly is. Long ago, or so it seems, when we were both much younger, we had a brief romance. It was short and very secret, but it was one of the finest moments of my life. I still remember the day he came to me as I packed, and he told me how my people loved me, how he loved me… After that brief time, I’m afraid that we slowly grew apart. He and I still shared many projects, but I had fallen in love with Anakin. What a fool I was. Anakin was a Jedi and I should have known better. My romance, to say nothing of my marriage, with him, likely sealed his doom and allowed Palpatine to get his hooks into my Ani. After Anakin’s attack on me at Mustafar, I lost all will to live. I was not expected to last the day. But then he came back; the one being who truly ever loved me for who I am. “Don’t die, Padmé,” he whispered huskily. “Please, don’t yousa die…” Somehow, with his silent encouragement, my body slowly began to find itself. I remembered that I had two children who might one day like to meet their mother and that I had this person before me who also loved me. I fought against death. I fought and I won the battle. Because of this one whom I love… “Miss Amidala?” Padmé returned suddenly to the present and realised that she had yet to answer the Nubian minister’s question. Her eyes sought her sister, Sola, in the crowd. Sola grinned wryly at her and nodded encouragingly to Padmé. Padmé steeled herself. This time I marry for the right reasons. I do not marry for the groom’s obsessions or my own lust. I marry for our love that shall endure forever. Padmé looked into the groom’s eyes. “I do.” The minister smiled. “Then in the name of the Queen of Naboo, I pronounce you General and Mrs. Binks.” The minister winked at Jar-jar. “You may kiss the bride.” With a whoop of exultant joy, Jar-jar drew close to Padmé, sweeping her in a tight hug and pressing his lips to hers. That same seasalt flavour that she remembered from all those years ago swept over her again. Padmé leaned close to her husband and whispered into his ear. “I love you, Jar-jar and I’ll never leave you again.” Jar-jar’s eyes sparked with mischief. “Yousa can’t leave anyway, mysa love. Yousa is married. Besides, meesa loves you too, Padmé.” With that, he lifted her into his arms and ran through the small group of family and friends who were flinging flower petals at them in Nubian tradition. He loves me. And I love him… Yousa is married, he said. And so I am. Married and loved to this one whom I love… Jar-jar Binks… -----signature----- Coiner of the term, Kypocrite...
