	Title - The Warriors Author - Anakin_Heartbreaker Characters - Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi Era - Clone Wars Genre - AU, possible Canon, Action, Adventure, Songfic Disclaimer - I don't own Star Wars, or the song You Got The Touch. I'm just a fan with a story to tell. Summary - Anakin and Obi-Wan are the way two friends should always be. Hi everyone - This song fic is dedicated to a very special friend, who for me embodies the words of this song. I hope you all like it. The song is from Transformers The Animated Movie, and is one of my favorite workout songs. For those of you who are reading The Hitman, I probably won't be posting until after I get back from WrestleMania 24, thank you for your patience. Anakin and Obi-Wan are…. The Warriors You got the touch You got the powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Yeah!!!!!!!! A colossal eruption ravenously ruptured through the structural integrity of the confined chamber, its unquenchable tendrils devouring every inanimate object daring to stand in its path, whilst its thunderous announcement irresistibly reverberated throughout the building. The once impenetrable metallic walls helplessly succumbed, as various incinerated chassis’ of destroyer droids bombarded the perimeters, denting them with residuals of debris. Anakin’s tenacious cerulean orbs were illuminated with triumphant ecstasy, whilst he stared up at the obliterated ceiling. A wry smile gradually manifested upon his face, and the blood continued to relentlessly seep out the side of his bruised lips, as he lay seemingly incapacitated beside Obi-Wan. The two reputable Jedi Knights, both proudly displaying the visual scars of their recent altercation with the separatists were protected from the motion detonator Skywalker had strategically placed at the entrance, by several large metallic objects. After all is said and done You've never walked, you've never run, You're a winner Kenobi noticed the almost insubordinate grin on his former protégé’s chiseled face. “It’s hard for me to shake the thought that you actually enjoyed that.” A secondary explosion surged through the intricate ventilation shafts, annihilating all possible infiltration units dispatched by General Grievous. The fervent noxious yellow flames pierced through the cylindrical piping, severing the electrical connection to various fluorescent lights precariously hanging above them. You got the moves, you know the streets Break the rules, take the heat You're nobody's fool “Hey, what can you do?” Anakin turned to look at his best friend. “That was the last of the detonators.” “What do suggest we do? Grievous is not going to let us out alive. He’s got us trapped.” “Well, surrounding them is out.” Skywalker joked mischievously. “I can always count on you to lighten up the mood.” Obi-Wan chuckled briefly, before absorbing the incalculable severity of the situation. “Let’s just go straight out. There’s two of us, and about a million of them. I think that’s fair.” The Chosen One evaluated lightheartedly. “Oh that plan, they’ll never see that one coming. On one condition…” The Negotiator stressed. “What?” Anakin stirred slightly and spat out the blood congregating in his mouth. “No counting.” Obi-Wan winked. “Where’s the fun in that?” Anakin remarked. “You always end up with more than me.” Kenobi laughed. “Maybe this time I won’t. Wanna play?” Skywalker challenged. You're at your best when when the goin' gets rough You've been put to the test, but it's never enough!!!!!! The mystically imperceptible swirls of the Force caressed their athletic frames, saturating their taut muscles with an incalculable vigor. The two warriors strengthen the lateral tendons in their quadriceps and hamstrings before synchronously jumping back up into a vertical posture. Kenobi and Skywalker unleashed their pulsating azure lightsabers, allowing the homogenizing energy to encompass their physical presence. “Let’s play.” Obi-Wan replied coolly. You got the touch!!! You got the power!!! Several droids poured through the only opening, their weapons perfectly supported by both upper appendages. Anakin lazily spun the scintillatingly majestic weapon beside his torso; his roguish golden mane unperturbedly undulated over his passionate blue eyes, whilst he defiantly accelerated towards the feeble combatants. Skywalker lithely somersaulted over the primary line of droids; his powerful weapon flourished with exhilarating splendor, as he effortlessly decapitated half a dozen unsuspecting droids from the back. His sinuous and irresistible movement, accentuated by the vivacious flow of the Force through his vascularized body, allowed him to venomously deflect the blasters that now bombarded him from all angles. Anakin’s potent blade had helped create an impregnable shield of mesmeric blue in front of his sculpted physique, as he twisted the blade with ruthlessly precision. When all hell's breakin' loose You'll be riding the eye of the storm Kenobi adopted a less impetuous assault; he knowledgably scrutinized the surrounding vicinity. His shrewdly observant eyes immediately noticed several obliterated battle droids scattered over the area. Obi-Wan channeled his immense bond with the Force and discernibly moved his left palm across his face. Dozens of droids were immediately crushed under the overwhelming weight of their destroyed counterparts. Obi-Wan had cleared the opening, and jumped straight into the heat of battle. His blade courageously deflected the blasts back at their origin, rupturing several more droids. Anakin smiled fleetingly at his former master’s familiar tactics. He was more impulsive, boisterous and flamboyant, while Obi-Wan was calculating, deliberate and methodical. Their two styles were inexplicable complimentary…they completed the other. Skywalker tensed the sinewy tendons of his muscular deltoids, and stabbed his lightsaber into the durasteel floor; several blasts ricocheted off the blade and the floor, before savaging the metal frames of the droids. Skywalker sinuously spun on his heel, and remarkably decapitated two droids in mid flight with pulsating roundhouse kicks. You got the heart You got the motion Anakin and Obi-Wan looked down at the sporadic sparks cackling out through the pile of scrap that they had made. “I count 35.” The Chosen One regulated his breathing. “35?” Kenobi questioned. “Well, I’m on 45.” “That’s only because you did your little trick with the Force.” Anakin argued. “Funny, I don’t remember that being mentioned before.” The Negotiator said. Several more droids made their ominous presence felt in the corridor outside the exit. Anakin spat out the rest of the blood accumulating in his mouth and smiled. “To be continued.” You know that when things get too tough You got the touch The Force impeccable serenaded the astute senses of the two warriors, transcending them to above normality, whilst they unconquerably ran towards to latest battalion that stood between them and ultimate victory. The droids instantaneously opened fire, allowing an inescapable barrage of firepower to shroud the hallways with laser blasts and smoke. Anakin and Obi-Wan vividly saw the attack anxiously waiting to intercept them, before liberating their humming cerulean blades with domineering aspirations. The proud gladiators gracefully intertwined their unyielding defenses; their imperceptible footwork, illustrating the years of vigorous training, of knowing of each other moves, the bond between two best friends allowed them to push back further down the corridor. The scintillatingly splendiferous movement had turned into a blur of brown and black, symbolizing their tunics, whilst visible ripples of the Force undulated around their frames. Anakin and Obi-Wan broke out of the movement and pulverized the droids with unanswerable strikes, removing appendages and decapitating their less than equal foes. You never bend, you never break You seem to know just what it takes You're a fighter Kenobi and Skywalker had barely time to discuss the count when a familiar quaking sound reverberated from down the many convoluted corridors. Half a dozen destroyer droids transformed from the spherical objects that had sinisterly declared themselves to the Jedi Knights. Their impenetrable shields immediately were erected in front of their highly sophisticated proton cannons. They launched a ferocious onslaught of firepower against The Negotiator and The Chosen One. Anakin and Obi-Wan felt the increased weight behind the impeccable trajectory of the attacks. The Force called out to them. It's in the blood, it's in the will It's in the mighty hands of steel When you're standin' your ground Anakin looked over his left shoulder and noticed several Magna Guards approaching, their reliable electrostaffs held diagonally across their dull colored metallic chassis. Obi-Wan continued to deflect the blasts back of the destroyer droids, as they steadily narrowed the gap between them and the Jedi Knights. “Can you hold them of a moment?” Skywalker called through the chaos. “Why? Where are you going?!” Kenobi asked concernedly. “Ask me again later.” Anakin replied. And you never get hit when your back's to the wall Gonna fight to the end and you're takin' it all!!!!! The Force unwaveringly coursed through his magnificent physique, and replenished all of his physical expenditure, whilst he intercepted Grevious’ elite solders before they closed in on them. Anakin tenaciously parried the well calculated alternate strikes to his upper and lower appendages, before reversing his grip upon the cylindrical hilt and stabbing the first guard through the chest, and then utilizing the unorthodox method to forcefully cut through, rupturing it into half. The sweat poured profusely down the temple of Kenobi, and he hesitantly took a step back to continue parrying the shots by the destroyers. You got the touch!!! You got the power!!! A Magna guard fervently twisted his blade, increasing the difficulty of Skywalker ravaging his defenses. The Force flowed freely through Anakin; his blade moved even faster in retaliation, he was not going to be denied. The Chosen One diagonally cut through legs of the guard, before vertically slicing upwards, tearing the body down the middle. “Get down!” Skywalker yelled. When all hell's breakin' loose You'll be riding the eye of the storm Kenobi ducked, and saw several large pieces of elite guards fly over his head, with Anakin following behind. The destroyers continued to shoot at the scarp of metal hurtling towards them, but could not get through to Skywalker who was coming up behind them. “Now!” Skywalker shouted. You got the heart You got the motion Obi-Wan exposed his open palm and a monstrous Force push launched the destroyed droids back, temporarily scrambling their senses. Anakin sinuously somersaulted in the air, and twisted his blade with deadly precision. His lightsaber damaged the controllers for the destroyers, incapacitating them. Kenobi joined his best friend, and made short work of the remains. You know that when things get too tough You got the touch “Now its time for Grievous!” Skywalker stated. The two warriors escaped the building, after having destroyed everything that stood in their path, but watched as Grievous cowardly escaped in this personalized ship to the Invisible Hand in space. You're fightin' fire with fire You know you got the touch You're at your best when when the road gets rough You've been put to the test, but it's never enough “There’ll be another time, when we finally confront him.” Kenobi stated. “Hey, I didn’t doubt that for a second.” Skywalker replied. Two warriors smiled at each other. Two friends who knew that when they faced adversary together, they were the best. You got the touch You got the power!!!!!! Yeah!!!! Touch

	Ascal_Elessar - WOW!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful reply. It seems that even when I just want to write a simple songfic, it somehow turns into a No Holds Barred adrenaline pumping action sequence. I'm trying to lose the habit, really I am!!!! Jaina_and_Jag - You're making me blush with embarrassment! A songfic about two friends, and what do I do? Try to get as high a body or should that be droid count as I possibly can! LOL!! Thank you for reading!!! Hi everyone - I'm off to Wrestlemania 24, for those of you waiting for an update on The Hitman, I will be back both guns blazing!!!!!!! 	That was so fun to read! Your descriptions are so vivid...I felt like I was watching it all happen. The way you've portrayed Anakin and Obi-Wan is just perfect! Their banter, the teamwork...I love it all. You really captured their bond. Two warriors smiled at each other. Two friends who knew that when they faced adversary together, they were the best. The Warriors - Part II The Force voraciously illuminated Anakin’s tenacious cerulean orbs, supremely declaring his incalculable fortitude, as his roguish blonde hair incessantly undulated in the high winds. The sinewy tendons, intricately sculpting his taut biceps and forearms protruded through his extremely vascularized tissue, whilst he impeccably thwarted a barrage of laser blasts with his lightsaber. Obi-Wan determinedly steered the roofless mechanical vehicle carrying both him and his former protégé over a dusty desolate terrain, as they escaped from a Separatist trap. Anakin challengingly stood at the back of the accelerating vehicle and insubordinately faced the chasing Separatist armada, deflecting their merciless blasts with a scintillatingly mesmeric artistry created by his lightsaber. The Force inundated his veins, magnetizing his muscular legs to the precarious edge of the vehicle, whilst Obi-Wan continued to push forward. Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered And there's nowhere to turn You wonder how you keep going Think of all the things that really mattered And the chances you've earned The fire in your heart is growing You can fly, if you try leaving the past behind Heaven only knows what you might find Skywalker briefly looked back over his deltoid at Kenobi; his blue eyes instinctively squinted as the blusterous raging winds aggressively pressed into his chiseled face. “How does it look?!” Skywalker shouted amongst the chaotic sounds of forceful winds and laser fire. “The same as when you asked a moment ago.” Kenobi replied. Several seismic blasts simultaneously ruptured the barren land on both sides of their vehicle, causing catastrophic clouds of dust to explode into the air. Obi-Wan rocked in his seat; the ground trembled beneath them. “Well are you doing your job or not?!” Obi-Wan yelled at his best friend “Are you saying I’m not doing a good job at protecting us Master?” Anakin replied, as he turned back to face their numerous adversaries. “Well judging by the near collision…No.” Obi-Wan stated, his normally pristinely settled hair, uncontrollably wavered in the wind. “It’s called a false sense of security Master.” Skywalker immaculately twisted and contorted his pulsating azure blade, effortlessly denying any shots to fracture his impregnable shield. “The only thing I’m sensing is that you’ll be the death of me!” Obi-Wan shouted amongst the deafening sounds of blasts and engine roar. Dare - dare to believe you can survive You hold the future in your hand Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive It's time to take a stand And you can win, if you dare The reputable Negotiator adeptly caught sight of a tunnel leading underground, and rapidly accelerated towards its welcoming sanctuary. The planet was plagued with millions of intricately convoluting tunnels, which ran as deep as the core. It was strategically the only correct evasive move at their disposal. The Force ravenously coursed through the sculpted physique of the Chosen One, as his powerful quadriceps remained adamantly adhered to their task of stabilizing Skywalker on the dangerous back edge of the vehicle. He looked past the impenetrable barricade that he had formidably erected against the separatists, and noticed a domineering circular vehicle emerge past the haze of red and orange. “Grievous…” A perpetual shroud of darkness gluttonously devoured the Jedi Knights, as they entered the narrowly descending tunnel. The attenuating daylight was replaced by an unknown light source from deep within the planet, which dimly illuminated the cold ambience. The crystallized energy from his humming blue lightsaber, resonated off from Anakin’s statuesque physique, as he looked back at Obi-Wan. “I’m just going to buy us some time.” He declared. “Keep going forward!” Kenobi fleetingly looked back over his shoulder to comprehend what his flamboyant friend had meant, only to see him lithely somersault through the air and onto the surface of the tunnel. “I hate it when he does that.” Obi-Wan said disapprovingly. Everybody's trying to break your spirit Keeping you down Seems like it's been forever But there's another voice if you'll just hear it Saying it's the last round Looks like it's now or never Out of the darkness you stumble into the light Fighting for the things you know are right Anakin incarcerated his powerful weapon, and patiently waited for the chasing droid vehicles to approach. An augmenting thunderous noise dully reverberated through the cavernous tunnels running adjacently beside Skywalker. The Force’s therapeutic energy quenched the thirst burgeoning in the Chosen One’s athletic frame, as he explosively liberated his lightsaber and somersaulted onto a droid vehicle. His blade moved with frighteningly precise trajectory, allowing the formidable warrior to decapitate several droids. Sporadic sparks boisterously cackled from their ravaged circuits, as Anakin took over the controls. “And now let’s welcome the guests.” Anakin smirked. The fearless warrior immediately set the vehicle into reverse, and raged back towards the oncoming intruders. Skywalker channeled the mystical ally frenetically inundating his body, and reinforced the lateral tendons in his quadriceps and hamstrings…Anakin somersaulted back out of the vehicle as it violently collided with two others coming from behind. A thunderous explosion shook the darkened ambience, as the ammunition on board got damaged. A huge ball of fire irresistibly coursed back up through the tunnel and into the atmosphere. Dare - dare to believe you can survive The power is there at your command Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive It's time to take a stand And you can win, if you dare Obi-Wan felt a seismic tremor, and immediately concluded that Anakin would be primarily responsible for it. The Force harmoniously whispered into his ear, informing him of the threat approaching from his right. The tunnel up ahead expanded with the merger of a second. “I have a bad feeling about this.” A vehicle filled with Grievous’ Elite guards sinisterly declared itself to Kenobi. Obi-Wan dexterously avoided a monstrous collision with several large bodies of rock lying in the way, and swerved into the mechanical foes. Obi-Wan jumped in his seat, and quickly caught a glimpse of the Elite guards activating their electrostaffs, in preparation to board his vehicle. The droids viciously smashed the side of their accelerating speeder into the Negotiator, prompting him to retaliate with a smash of his own. Dare - dare to believe you can survive You hold the future in your hand Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive The power is there at your command Two opportunistic Elite guards seized advantage of the close proximity and simultaneously jumped into Obi-Wan’s vehicle. Kenobi liberated his lightsaber and swung diagonally backwards at the guards, thwarting their initial strikes at his clavicle and cranium. The Force enhanced Obi-Wan’s ability to continue driving the vehicle and parry the two aggressors… but this was when he needed Anakin. The droid speeder advantageously smashed against the Negotiator fleetingly causing him to lose control of the vehicle, as it swerved along both sides of the large tunnel. Obi-Wan parried upwards, thwarting a fatal strike towards his head by the guards, before adroitly sweeping across their lower appendages, and destroying their vertical stance. Kenobi heard another lightsaber, and immediately looked past the partially incapacitated Elite guards. Anakin quickly dissected them from behind, and vanquished the threat. Dare - dare to keep all your love alive Dare to be all you can be Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive And it's calling you on to victory “What took you so long?” Obi-Wan asked. “I was held up, had to wait for another transport to catch up.” Anakin shrugged his shoulders. “Looks like they don’t take a hint.” Skywalker parried the attacks from the speeder running adjacently to the right. “Move closer!” Kenobi narrowed the gap, allowing Anakin to jump back across. The warrior rapidly twisted and turned his lightsaber in a frenetic blaze of splendor, eradicating all of the droids. Skywalker spun the vehicle violently to the side, and somersaulted back out towards Kenobi, as the speeder exploded, causing large amounts of rock to fall behind them. “It seems Grievous was not in a hurry to get acquainted.” Anakin stated. “He didn’t follow us down.” “We’ll meet him soon enough Anakin.” Kenobi replied as the two warriors continued safely through the planet. Dare!

	Another wonderful post! This has a very 'Clone Wars/early-part-of-RotS' vibe, with the Team at their best. I like the song you used, too. 	Okay I've decided that since I'm leaving the boards after completing The Hitman, should be a few weeks max, I don't want to regret not turning this into a trilogy. There will be a part three, and it will be FULL CONTACT!
