	Ok, just for the record, I wrote this late at night when I was going a little kooky, so that should explain the...kookiness. It's just a little ditty for fun; I know characters are out of character. But, I thought it was funny and I hope you do, too! Title: Commentaries Author: Oddball_62 Characters: Obi-Wan, Anakin, Dooku, and little of Yoda and Padme Genre: Humor (I think) Timeline: None, AU-ish. After AotC, tho. *** A: Hi, I'm Anakin, O: I'm Obi-Wan, D: And I am Count Dooku. O: And we're here to commentate on our own lightsaber duel at the beginning of the Clone Wars. A: Why, I don't know. We just are. D: Let's just get this over with. I don't want to waste my time watching this loser fight. A: Now, that isn't nice. What do you think he would feel about that? I thought Obi-Wan is a great dueler. D: I wasn't actually talking about him. A: Oh, really? 'Cause if you hadn't cheated and cut my arm off, I so would have beaten you. I can take you right here and now if... O: Now, Anakin, Dooku kicked you butt fair and square and you know it. Now can we get on with this? A: But... D: Yes, I agree. Anakin and Obi-Wan walk into hangar and Dooku greets them. "You're going to pay for all the Jedi that you killed today, Dooku." D: Now, I have to comment on this; what's the point? Saying that did nothing whatsoever to taunt me, you know that, right? A: Whatever. "We'll take him together. You go in slowly on the left..." "I'm taking him NOW!!" "No, Anakin, no! No!" Dooku throws Anakin against the wall with Force lightning. D: Pwned. A: You wanna go, old man?! D: I believe we just did, and didn't I,...rock you? A: Oh, I'm taking you down, Mr. Fancypants!! O: Chill out, you guys. can we get back to what what we were doing? "As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours. Now, back down." Shoots lightning at Obi-Wan, he blocks. "I don't think so." D: Ooh, scary man! A: Wait a second, Jedi powers? I believe Force lightning is a power of the Dark Side. Sith! D: Yes, I am a Sith. What's it to you? O: This is going to be a long day. *** Dooku wounds Obi-Wan, he goes down. O: Ok, now, that hurt. You could have jumped out and saved me then, Anakin, instead of... A: Wait, wait! Here it comes... Anakin jumps and blocks Dooku's killing blow. A: Aw, man! That looks so awesome every time! "Brave of you, boy. I thought you had learned your lesson." "I am a slow learner." O: You got that right. A: Huh? "Anakin!" Anakin and Dooku start fighting. A: Oh yeah! Two lightsabers! Uh-huh! Dooku breaks one lightsaber. D: Not for long. A: Party pooper. *** Anakin and Dooku keep fighting. A: Now, you told me earlier that I should have jumped up and saved you, Obi-Wan. Why aren't you practicing what you preach? O: Are you kidding me? I could barely move! Besides, getting your arm cut off was an important lesson to learn... A: Lesson?! What kind of lesson? One about the 9 levels of pain? You sicken me. D: Here it comes... [blockquote]Dooku cuts Anakin's arm off.[/blockquote] D and O: Ooooohh! A: Yeesh, look away...That really hurt. Look! There's Yoda! Y; Miss anything, did I? A: Yoda! Where have you been? You missed all the good parts! Y: Yet to come, the 'good part' is. **2 minutes later... A: That...was...the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Y: Tell, I can, from your stunned silence. A: How did you do that? D: It's called practice. Try it sometime. A: Whatever. O: Now, I hope this has taught us all a lesson. A: Oh, great. Another lesson. Ok, what lesson has it taught us, Mathter? O: First, that Yoda's frickin' awesome with a lightsaber. A: Agreed. And... O: And...that Anakin sucks. All in favor? D: Aye. Y: Aye. A: Hey! P: What're you guys watching? Oh, look! There's me! A: Padme, my little everlovin', come and give your Ani-bear a smoochie-... Padme levels a blaster at Anakin's head.* P: Don't ever call me that again. This little "commentary" reminds me a lot of the banter in that particular story, and if you've never read it, I'd highly recommend it for a good laugh, especially in an election year. Great job.
