This is deticated to all the families who lost a loved one in The War on Terror.

Anakin Solo
The death of someone you loved is the hardest thing to accept. I can accpet lossing an arm at Myrkr for my own foolishness, but loosing Chewie was hard. I feel like it was my fault, like I could've prevented it, even though I couldn't.
Chewbacca's death was the hardest on my dad the most. My dad took his anger out on me in words that dug holes that are there even today. He didn't mean to, but for a long time he accused me of leaving Chewie. I heard it so much I almost believed it.
Chewie was the most awesome Wookiee I've ever known, well, Lowbacca's nice too, but Chewie was always there. And then suddenly he wasn't. Death is only something you fear once you've come face to face with it.

Han Solo
Chewbacca, the best buddy I ever had, even if he DID have his skrew-ups. What would I do to have him back? What would I do to mend my relationship with my son? What WOULD I do? Good questions, the answers are unknown. Look at me, I'm sounding like Luke the Jedi.
Even so, my greatest wish would be to have him back. I can wish, but knowing that wishes don't normally come true doesn't exactly console me.

Jaina Solo
Death, a natural part of life. As much as I hate it, it happens everyday. When I flew in Twin Suns, death happened so early in life to so many people I knew, I was almost afraid to get attached. But then, I thought about those dead peoples families, friends, wives, husbands, and I realized that avoiding people was most likely steering me TOWARD death. I mean, how many pilots would sacrifice their life to save a stranger? NO one I knew. And now, even though the pain is greater, so id the gratitude.
**************
Kyp Durron
I was BORN into death. I lived in death valley for a long time. Then I was rescued. I was a kid of 16, and I couldn't be more grateful to Han Solo. But even as I escaped Kessel, the more I realized that death was still looming around me. I became more passionate to stop it from happening. I realized that even though I would help someone to THEIR last breath, I wouldn't have sacrificed my life for theirs. Even my best of friends. Jaina always said 'Death is a part of life'. And she's right. Life after death?
Death is a part of life. It certainly was in mine.

Mara Jade Skywalker
Even at 5 years old I was on the run from death. Before my eyes, hired snipers killed my family. Only then did death come clear to me. The sacrifice's my family made to save other people lives before their own emmbedded its selflessness into my memory. Even when Palpatine finially persuaded me to serve under him, selflessness was still remembered until he blocked it out. The first time I remembered it however, was when I was on stirke to kill Luke Skywalker, who is now my husband. Only then was the cloud blown away, and everything became clear. Only then did I realize their true sacrifice. And that's one of the reason's I am what I am today, A Jedi Knight of the New Jeid Order; Guardian of the Peace.
A person finally willing to make a sacrifice if need be.

Tahiri Veila
I never knew my parents. They died when I was only three. The first time I recieved details of their death was when Slavin, my 'foster' parent, told me many years ago.
Slaven had been wounded and sook refuge at my parents house, they treated his wounds and didn't think him a monster for being a Sand-person. both my parents were strong in the force and that helped him heal even faster. To show them his gratitude Slavin taught my father how to fight with Sand People weapontry, my dad became good, and began to sparr with Slavin quite often. Well, one of these times the Sand people happened upon them, and killed my parents.
Slavein was mad at his tribe, but there was nothing he could do, so he took me in. I became 'one of them' until Luke Skywalker and Tionne happened upon me. They took me to the Jedi Academy and trained me in the ways of the force. Compassion is what my family has in its genes, and I like to hand it out to everyone...accept the Yuuzhan Vong, they die.

I hate funerals. I've been to too many of them in all of my few years. Death is such a part of war, no duh, that sometimes when one moment goes by without it you want to celebrate. And you should, you never know where you might end up.
"Death...a part of life." -Jaina Solo-

~Death; A Part of Life.~
Jesus is coming, are you ready?
~Death; A Sacrifice.~
Jesus died a horrifying dath for
you.
~Death; Compassion.~
God had compassion on us and sent his son, Jesus, because He loves us so much, (John 3:16)
~Death; Selflessness.~
Think of the soliers in Iraq. What is their modivation? Are they willing to DIE for their cause?
Jesus was.

It's a little too political for my liking, but I like the fic very much.

Everyone is alone in some way. That dosen't mean you have to stand alone.
I'm trapped here,so I might as well go insane too.
