dave, you just about pointed out most politicians...they dont give a hell about you or i...they are about themselves and their special interests...they just bait us w/broken promises to get to the polls and vote for them...one thing i would like to see done is take away kickbacks (they all get them)from their special interest friends to vote or pass legislation for their cause (ex. bingaman taking money from exxon mobil to allow drilling in the anwar)...that is where the corruption is...
anyways, back to sports

anyone want to watch nemo on ice or go to a poetry reading w/me this weekend?

Well said, the ones that really want to make a difference never get elected because they never get big money contributions from the Big Corps. But at least we'll always have Star Wars! which causes another conflict, I love the jedi, but I love the clones too, oh god i'm so torn....

Texans fire offensive coordinator Palmer

September 19, 2005
HOUSTON (AP) -- The Houston Texans fired offensive coordinator Chris Palmer on Monday following the team's second straight embarrassing loss.
Palmer will be replaced by offensive line coach Joe Pendry, according to a source who asked not to be identified because the team had not yet made the announcement. Coach Dom Capers had his regularly scheduled news conference set for later in the day.
