It's a little late to be starting a discussion on this and I know the group is quiet right now. But the DRS will be doing the droid hunt and a few other activities this year at bubonicon. The tables filled up quick and the DRS did not get a table. In retrospect I think that is ok because the tables in the dealer room don't serve much purpose if your not selling anything. It's a good way to get info out to people but just a presence at the convention does that well. If anybody has any ideas for things to do post them here. I'll get some event info and the link to the bubonicon website posted (when I find it) so you guys and gals can take a look at what's going on this year and who will be there. One fun thing that I am really looking forward to is on Saturday they are having a super villain costume day. Come dressed as your favorite super villain. That's sure to be lots of fun. Take lots of pictures!

Well, this past weekend was Albuquerque's local convention - Bubonicon and we were once again across the hall from the local Star Trek group and we couldn't help but notice that a few of our members who seemed to have crossed over the line to the Klingons! So, there had to be a little invasion!!!

As well as some down time earlier int he day where Chris (aka LEPRIKAN94 or TK-3222) and Ryan (TKAegis or TK-4720) decided to race out who was the baddest Trooper on the block.

There was also a whole campaign to rescue R2 from the Trekkies. It was hilarious. I don't know if we got any pics or video of it. If they surface I'll post them here. There were tons of pics from the whole weekend.
