I posted this on the Mountain Garrison forum, too. So if you haven't checked there, it's here. I'm also probably missing some info here that I posted over there. But I don't think so.

It's hard keeping this thread up to date in addition to what's posted on the MG forums.
There are 4 current days people would like to participate:
Thursday October 4th - Meet & Greet (evening)
Saturday October 6th - Mass Ascension (morning)
Thursday October 11th - Special Shapes Glowdeo (evening)
Friday October 12th - Special Shapes Glowdeo (evening)

I'm down for all of them. Even though I rarely see 4:00 am in any capacity but for this I will get my butt up early. I'm trying to finish my TK before Thursday so I can wear it to the meet and greet. Should be do-able. That way I get a good test fit in before mass ascension on Saturday.

I was thinking on the drive home today about the fiesta arrangements. I was wondering how we are going to get down onto the field in the mornings. The pilots have a seperate entrance for the crew and pilot but would we be parking in the regular visitor parking? Maybe that's a Bob question. Bob, do you know? It would be great if we could just ride in with them if they have room.
That made me think, what are they doing for a chase vehicle and transport of the balloon? Are you renting a truck?
I just so happen to have a Ford Expedition that can seat 8 and I have a 5x10 utility trailer that could easily carry the balloon and gondola. I'd have to pawn taking my kids to school off on grandma but that is possible. I don't go in to work until 11:00 am so I could help out with the morning crewing and chase. I keep my trailer in the garage so I could even provide locked storage for the balloon if you need or want it.
Let me know if I can help in that area.

Thanks for your proposition.
We receipt a Ford F350 long bed like chase vehicle, so it is ok for us.
For entry, we receipt 5 tickets, I can give you one for all SW crews, you must organize a metting point to take everybody on your vehicle, is it possible?
(best parking is south)
I will speak about this at airport with you so no problem to arrange all.
You help is welcome for chase, we don't know Albuquerque.
I hope having all understand and well translate

Sounds great! I'd be happy to be the shuttle for our crew. I can carry 3 with their gear or if I can take the trailer we can fit up to 8. I don't know how many are going on Saturday though. Post here if you are. I'll also ask over on the DRS forums.

The make-a-wish foundation could use some help with calendar sales during fiesta. The times are like 5am to 10am on the big days like Saturday. Would anyone be willing to help out with that? They only have a couple of volunteers so far and could use some extra help.

No can do. Little man still has football practice. If they win their game saturday, they make the playoffs. Looks like Balloon Fiesta isn't in the cards for me this year.

I could help with the make-a-wish calendar sales if you still need volunteers. I couldnt do it this weekend but next weekend I could help. And if theres anything else you guys need extra people let me know I could see if I could fit it in my schedule.
