Yes. Supposedly they're shipping it out on the 3rd, early morning of the 4th at the latest. It's flying to New York, and then over here to Abq, hopefully in time for the last 3-4 days of the Fiesta.

I heard that too, that's why the balloon count is so low this year. China refuses to ship the balloons, and their charging $30k to fly them out. So basically yeah, hostages. At least that's what I hear.

As of this morning, the Vader balloon was at JFK, where it will be cleared by customs and then flown to Abq. Hopefully we'll see it on the field by Thurs.

I stood right next to the balloon as it was being prepped and launched! They had boba fett and storm troopers there and it rocked!
