New Idea: Read and Reply. Please.

OK. I want us to vote on a Star Wars character that best represents our group.
Why? Well...I know a lot of other groups that have a "mascot" a figure that represents them...And I want one.
Then...we take said figure and send him to groups that we are friends with...they take some pictures and send it on...
Also, the "masot" can make appearances with the group that we can chronicle...
So, tell me if
1. I'm crazy.
2. Whether you like the idea.
3. The character you would like to sumit.

Well, there is a type of wild boar I've ran into in Galaxies that stays to itself but is really tough, runs in deceptivly large packs, etc......might take some thinking.

ForceConduit suggests (sorry Nyborg...he's kidnapped your secretary for the moment) an Ewok...cause they live in the woods...Arkansas is wooded....they like to hunt....you get the relation..

I'd say we're pretty good Jawas. Unlike Ewoks we're not primitive and just fascinated by anything shiny... Not that we're not interested however, but we're inquisitive and could be seen by the locals as a bit eccentric and "very into what we do" (isn't that a Jawa in a nutshell?). And what better way to be the hunter/gatherer than a group of nomadic traders that just appear and do their thing to the shagrin and often amusement to the crowds that tend to gather around them - don't we sort of fit the bill... just being somewhere tends to draw a crowd and we're a great attention getter in front of a store (As some of us saw first hand in October at Halloween Express).
Just a second character/mascot idea to look at. Choices and variety are good to have.

If we're going for things that live in the woods, I would vote for Wookiees over Ewoks. I like Ewoks, but I'm mostly over them and have been since about 1988.

(Once we get our hands on that.)
