Hullo all! 
I think it's time this board got a new lease of life  and it's upto us fans in Asia and Africa to give it that boost! 
So how about it? This is the official planning thread where ideas for thread topics, discussion threads etc are welcome. But let's keep it clean people. Everything here must still comply with the TOS and standards maintained on the boards!
So far I would like to suggest a social thread, movie discussion threads and the usual SW discussion of course!
I'd love to see what everyone has to say! So, get posting in this thread!
It will be great to get this place going again!

personally, i'd like to see a getting to know you thread in here, so we can, uh, get to know each other.
i think it's important to get everyone we can think of over here and put in their two cents. we'll never get anywhere if it's just the same 5 people posting all the time.

Excellent idea, this thread!
Yep ... a GTKY thread would be fun, if we can get enough people. There's 3 of us now.
By the way ... is this place still yellow for you people? My browser could be glitchy, but I still get the old banner ... and my eyes already hurt.

Calling this meeting to order!
Okay, people...here's what we've got so far:-
1. Shara can change the banner (currently that painful yellow ) to the default green banner.
2. We need a nice name for our social thread/ GTKY thread. So how about it? Let's have some names shall we?
There are "welcome parties" and "social parties" etc on the boards...a nice name that will fit nicely with the whole Asia/Africa atmosphere would be ideal...

If we want a GTKY thread, we could just call it "The GTKY Thread - Asia/Aftica Edition". Ok, so I copied MR Neck for that one ... it's a good title  .
But something like "FF Asia/Africa Social Thread - Calling All Fans!" would work too.
Oh yeah, isn't the default FF color scheme blue? I think you might've mixed up the default FF and JC schemes ... though the green one is good too.

In fact, I think we'll use parts of both your and Grimby's suggestions for the title of the GTKY thread.
Something like "The Social Thread-Asia/Africa Edition: All are welcome!"
