And not sure it matters, either. Except for "Who ordered the clones" theories. Although even that could still work eiher way.
Also, not sure if betrayal is the appropriate word. Most people prefer "retirement."

He defitenely did not 'retire', but the more important question is when did he stop following the ways of the Jedi, and instead the ways of the Sith.

I think he left the Jedi after Episode I. Qui-Gon died during Episode I and that was when Dooku felt it would be better if he left the order because he didn't agree with how the Jedi did things. Politics, and the death of his apprentice caused him to leave the order. So, I would assume he left the order not too long after Qui-Gon Jinn's funeral.

Ghost. We don't know that he joined the Dark Side the same day he left. It could've been months, or even years. So I would argue the only thing we can say is "retire."

The novelisation and script all state that Count Dooku left the Jedi Order ten years ago in AOTC. Thus, he left the Jedi Order approximately around TPM.
