He is simply the God McDiarmid. Accept no substitutes.
His greatness has no limits.
If Ian McDiarmid were asked, he could perform the character of Spongebob Squarepants and raise it to the level of Shakespearean Art. There are no restraints on the magnificent Talent of the God Ian.

OH no, the FIGS now come in force! 
 I like McDiarmid alot, but I think if he's struck by a falling stage light, he'll get hurt as best the rest of us. Though not a god, he is certainly a lord of the acting domain, that's for sure.

Any accusation of mere mortality that is directed at Ian is not only offensive, but inexcusable in the extreme. Appalling, even.

The concepts of Ian and God are a tautology - redundant and self-apparent.
