	A nice argument, but I'm not buying it. 96 votes (and counting) on this thread alone say "wipe them out, all of them" and if such seething hatred can exist among mere fans of a fictional character, then the character himself lacks believability if he lacks that hatred. Especially if hate and anger is supposedly what drives his entire being! We are not talking about the character's believability right now. It's about how everyone here would react to their mother being tortured and killed. Anakin was human, so is everyone on this board. If they would "wipe them out", then that's what they'd do. 	First my anger and hate would boil over(I don`t suggest you to be anywhere near me then) Then I would try to think as a human again and calm down a little. I probably would kill the men but not women and chilren(at least not yet). Killing the child who can change his life-path is wrong and unfair. But if something involves the people who are dear to me I hate the man(or Tuskens) who killed my mother until the end of the time. That means they wouldn`t live long even if I don`t kill them right away

	Umm.. because I'm in touch with the dark side... I would wipe them out all of them but I'd probably make it a bit more terrifying by lining them all up and killing their mothers and fathers. Oldest mothers and fathers downwards. Until All the kids are left then I'd just kill them too!!

	Hmmm...Lets see...If it were my mom... Well, I'd kill everyone as well. I'd also capture one lone Tusken Kid and force it to look at every single one of its dead comrades and say to it: "You've killed my mom...I killed your mom...your dad...your brothers and/or sisters...and your friends and their families." and take it away and force it to be my slave. (all this is occuring when i am still very angry) Then, perhaps, when i calm down a bit, I would instead begin to lead the Tusken kid down the path of Justice and teach it that there are more things other than violence and blood and gore. 	^Well, they could punch and kick and whack Shmi with hard objects, so that could be little torture, but yeah, i see where you're getting at. Why did Anakin have to go after them, the Tusken kids?
