Half the jedi council is missing during the battle of Geonosis. Where are Saesee Tinn, Even Piel, Depi Billaba, Adi Gallia, Yarael Poof, and Oppo Rancis?

They took the main soldier class of Jedi. There's no reason to risk the lives of the entire council. Plus, Mace estimated an easy victory against the group of Geonosians. He didn't know that his jedi wouldn't be enough.

Saesee Tinn was there, although you don't see him until the survivors are rounded up. I'm pretty sure Depa Billiba was there too. Isn't she the Asian female Jedi? If Oppo Rancis fought, I'd be in a home right now--that dude freaks me out. Oh, and according to the EU, Adi Gallia was providing air support for the ground battle in her starfighter.

Mace Windu does say he took what was available. In the novel, it mentions less than 200-300 of the ten thousand Jedi in the Order were actually on Coruscant at the time due to various missions and such. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume some of the Council members were out on important missions, especially considering the civil upheaval going on the in the galaxy.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume some of the Council members were out on important missions, especially considering the civil upheaval going on the in the galaxy.
Additionally, I think it would make sense that a few Jedi would stay behind, one, to look after the exceptionally young Jedi like the ones Yoda was teaching earlier in the film, and two, to have at least one Council-level voice remaining on Coruscant in case the Council needed for some unexpected reason to have a voice available to advise the political offices of the Surpreme Chancellor and the Senators.

Oppo Rancisis,Even Piell,Plo Koon,Ki-Adi-Mundi,Saesee Tiin,Mace Windu,Yoda,Shaak Ti,Colemen Trebor are on the ground on Geonosis
Adi Gallia is space above Geonosis
Depa Billiba is looking after the younglings
Eeth Koth is supposed to be on Geonosis
Yaddle and Yarel Poof are dead.

No, you can see Eeth Koth there. I never saw Oppo, and he's kinda hard to miss. Also, if Poof is dead, then who on the Jedi Council took his place. The only new Jedi Council member I saw on the OS is Shaak Ti, who I assumed just replaced Yaddle.

Eeth Koth cannot be seen on Geonosis, that was Agen Kolar, but Eeth was killed when his gunship was shot down. We saw this shot onscreen, although they never filmed a scene for Eeth, the EU just killed him off in that explosion. I'm not sure whether Oppo Rancisis was there or not, but I believe a game says Even Piell was there.

Coleman Trebor took Yarael's place on the Council.
