Guess I had one up on you. I figured when these films were being made and GL first announced EP 1 would begin production, I knew the ONLY way the films would work and be successful is if we fell head over heels in love w/ Anakin Skywalker, so that we could all rejoice our poor hearts out when he finally defeats Palpatine.
YUP, I kinda figured that would be the approach. I just never figured I would fall so head over heels for the character. Heart and soul (for a fictional character yet)
Thank God Lucas, he knows what he is doing!

thinking GL is doing it for the common good I don't feel so sad. But I am scared as hell to think about how they are going to put the kid in that suit. gaah!
maybe there are some NP fans as scared as I am, to see Padme with a twins and all. she is going to look different, too. :P

So many 'plot bunnies'... can you imagine what Ani would be like at the 'healers' with his pregnant wifey? One wrong move or one 'ouch' from Padme'.... LOL! Healers would tremble in their robes at the news that the "Skywalker mother to be" was there along with her protective husband...

Poor Natalie. I have a feeling the pregnancy costume may be one hell of a rude suprise. LOL.. I'm just picturing how someone of her petite build is going to look 9 mos pregnant with twins or even 5 or 6 mos..
Good by sexy tummy baring dresses, hello 50 pounds of water..
. Poor girl, lets hope she doesn't have any scenes in any places that ar too hot.
BTW, has anyone heard from L_C. I hope we havent' totally scared him off. I feel like such a B*Witch.. I'm wondering if i owe him an appology..

Oh I think we will get a couple scenes w/ Anakin giving Padme those full deep gorgeous eyes looking lovingly at her while his hand is on her belly.
GL has promised the film won't be ENTIRELY dark and there will be some fun in it as well. I am going to guess he will give us enough lovey dovey scenes w/ A&P to make us all want to scream and fall over in near hysterics when Anakin falls and turns to the Dark Side!!! I can almost now hear our collective outcry sounding much like Luke when Vader tells him that He is his father.
If anyone has wandered to the "Padme's Fate" thread in the EP 3 boards, I have a deep sinking feeling GL is going to pull a Romeo and Juliet on us of sorts. The 2 lovers will be told the other is dead (Anakin by Palpy) thereby they end up on their divergent paths.
We are ultimately meant to feel complete triumph and rejoice when Anakin returns to the light. The only way that will be accomplished IMO is if Anakin willingly falls, but he does this because he is deceived by Palpatine. We are meant to Hate, loathe, despise Palpatine, not Vader. Vader is wonderfully tragic.

oh man!! Can I ever. Not too mention the good, independent sexy senator, reduced to a water retained, out to here bundle of hormones. Poor Ani!! He won't know what hit him.. (trust me I've been preggo, it does weird things to the mind). One minutes she's all turned on, the next minute she's ready to show him a new use for his lightsaber if he comes close to her.. No wonder he goes bad?!?! Lord help me ... please..

May 25th, 2005 will mark the

heard round the world.
I hope and pray we get the happy loving couple stuff, which makes sense from a story telling point, to remind us how happy and in love they are, before it gets all angsty. I also want lots of emotional scenes and I some how doubt I'll be dissapointed.
My bet is the opening may be Anakin comming back from a battle or something to sneak a free moment with Padme, say after the battle or something like that. For a little PG rated Jedi Nookie.
sheesh have we driven all the opposing views away from here? Are we really that overwhelming and intimidating a group?
